I do not recommend coming here. I was accosted for a tip from the start and was harassed for only giving a 20% tip by the cashier. They started being irate and began making fun of my partner, we both have disabilities and that seemed to annoy them. They then had someone replace them on the till, and the began wandering by me and my partner being aggressive moving the tables. We chose a clean quiet area. They started loudly dragging chairs past us, sat to the left of us staring at us, then stood up behind me to read my phone. Said cashier then started to loudly make fun of us to the manager about me writing a complaint. I called the store to try to report this but the manager hung up on me. I had to call the midland location to get in touch with the corporate office because the mount pleasant location just didn't want to speak to me. It was a cashier with heavy makeup and a long black pony tail, there is a google review from a month ago talking about something similar. I haven't experienced anything like this in Mount Pleasant, and frankly I'm not sure why a 20% tip is bad now or why they thought we only tipped her 20% because were gay. Rating is based on experience not food. No Korean meatballs, had to ask why they are on the menu if not available. Was told there is a manufacturing issue. And they cannot even put up a note saying they are out of them. Then got half our food delivered to the table to wait 8 minutes for the other 2 orders that were setting on the counter on a tray while they prepared to go orders. This is a nice place for a quick lunch. I can see it being a challenge for first- timers just because of the number of menu choices, but the staff is proactively helpful and patient with customers. For people unfamiliar with the restaurants, they serve a variety of noodle dishes from around the world, from penne to Thai noodles to stroganoff and Mac and cheese -- great for families or friends who all want completely different cuisines. My girlfriend and I visited this location yesterday evening. Amanda was the worker that ordered our food. Her interaction with us was the most unprofessional display of customer service that I have ever experienced. She had an annoyed look on her face the whole time and was condescending and snarky to both of us when we were being polite and trying to place our orders. This woman does not have the mental fortitude to be working behind a register and dealing with customers. I am shocked that Noodles and Co. would allow such behavior from one of their employees, there is no excuse for that. We ordered our food at 9:20 and she was very rude and aggressive because they were closing in 40 minutes. It's not like we rolled in there at 9:55. After we sat down to wait for our food she came over and had the nerve to subliminally insult my girlfriend. I am not impressed at all and will be talking to higher management. Ordering takeout should be an enjoyable and simple experience but this employee ruined the possibility of that happening.
