2nd time I ordered from them and the order was screwed up both times. Ordered butter noodles with no cheese or seasoning as they have that option to check when you order. First time in this Noodles and Company. It was very clean. The staff was amazingly kind and helpful. The food was prepared as ordered. Cute concept but really just average pasta. It just gives me that "processed" feel, unfortunately. I had a side dish of plain 'ole mac & cheese. The cheese was ok but the overall dish was watery. I'd prefer a mac & cheese with thicker, stringier cheese...you know, the kind that has a line of cheese from dish to mouth The tomato basil soup didn't appeal to me either. It seemed to be too roasted, to the point of being very strong tasting. The only pleasing part of the meal (other than our company) was the garlic bread which was really very good. Crusty bread with warm, melting, just enough cheese. Atmosphere and decor is fast foodish but clean. The service was also friendly and it's pretty easy to order. Read the menu board as you walk in, approach the counter to order them find a table. They bring your meal to you. I guess if I'm in the mood for take out pasta and want to keep the cost down this would be my choice, but since I don't order pasta very often I'd prefer to go someplace with tastier pasta. read more

We visited this afternoon, and while the food was decent, I was very surprised to see the two people preparing food not only didn't wear masks but didn't use gloves either. Several tables had had not been cleaned from previous diners and I saw spilled food and some trash under most of the tables as well. I'm very reluctant to leave a poor review for any restaurant during the current public health crisis, but they really need to do better. Food is pretty good, but fairly small portions and pricey for inexpensive noodles. Kind of a strange atmosphere. Can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe a confusion of a nice sit down place and cheap self serve fast food joint? or maybe the type of place they want you to hang out at, like a starbucks atmosphere, but no wifi and indifferent. I wasn't expecting much and I got exactly that. Anywhere that has "Spicy Korean Beef Noodles," "Japanese Pan Noodles," and "Bacon Mac & Cheese" on their menu cannot be good. To play it safe I got a small Spaghetti ($4.60) and Meatballs ($2.59). Despite being in the name, the meatballs do not in fact come with the dish. You have to specify which addition you'd like. The meatballs were OK but the spaghetti was so bland and there wasn't enough sauce, although there was a lot of cheese that was more like wax. It was helped by a generous amount of sriracha, but I think they just didn't season the sauce well enough and probably didn't salt the pasta water either. Salt, pepper, anything! Being Korean, I had to at least try the Korean Spicy Meatballs with Gochujang Sauce ($2.99). Same meatballs that came with the spaghetti, only cooked in soy sauce and a hint of gochujang. What it lacked in spiciness, it definitely made up for in sweet and sour. Tasted more like a Chinese fusion creation than Korean. However, it was pretty good and at that price it is something worth trying. The food came out really fast and our server was apologetic when we all told her our food was bland. She offered to bring me something else but I wasn't hungry anymore. I had a take out order for the Wisconsin Mac and Cheese The noodles were slightly al dente but the worst part was that the noodles had nothing on them. It ended up being a bit meh and really underwhelming, especially for the price. I got the Bacon Mac & Cheeseburger, a new addition to the menu, and the flavor just wasn't there. Came with seemingly buttered macaroni noodles, sprinkled with cuts of bacon, green onion, tomatoes, crumbled meatball, and shredded cheese. For what it's worth, the bacon was quite tasty on its own, and the veggies certainly tasted fresh, but each bite was either no flavor or a ton of onion. I got the 'regular' size, which is about $9 and simply not worth it. The flavour of the food was good, but it was very slow service and served cold. Not to mention that the staff were impatient. I was only served 4 tofu cubes and the large portions are the same amount as the small, so your paying around $3.50 more to the already very expensive price to get scammed! The interior was OK and the Coca-Cola freestyle machine helped with the poor drink selection. I think $30 is a lot to pay to be left hungry and unsatisfied. Also the parking is probably the second worst thing. All of the spaces look like they were designed for a 2008 Prius and in the worst spots. There was a dumpster blocking a space or two. The first few times I've been here, I've enjoyed everything I've tried especially the pot stickers. Today we were surprised to receive a noticeably smaller portion of Pad Thai. We ordered both our bowls as regular (I had the Japanese pan noodles) and we're charged for regular but it was a small order portion. I was going to speak to the manager but my partner felt uncomfortable so I did nothing. I would recommend focusing on your consistency and will make sure to say something next time I have an issue. We will be back again to hopefully give it 5 stars! read more

Had the spicy Korean noodles and added the chicken. Chicken was about 1/8" thick so of course it was over cooked, dry and I removed it from the rest of the dish. I like spicy and when a restaurant says it's spicy I don't get my hopes up. The dish in its entirety was bland. I bought my wife the Wisconsin Mac n Cheese again bland and I was like where's the cheese. Grabbed a couple of those HUGE chocolate chip cookies for dessert and the first bite tasted like salt. The first time I was there, last summer, it was not intention to go back. I did decide to go back this last weekend and I was surprised to see that it has improved. I got the Pasta Freasa with chicken breast; it was very good and the staff was very friendly. It was a huge change from the fly invested place from last summer. Had a gluten free version along with an add in of chicken and a very tiny side of caesar salad (like only 4-5 lettuce leaves) and a drink - I was still hungry when I finished - although it was very tastey. I ordered the large portion and there wasn't much there. My husband ordered just a large portion that contained shrimp and a drink - I think our bill came to $24 and some change. I thought this was very pricy and still to be hungry! We are not huge eaters and not big people so I don't think we expected more food but it was definitely not a problem to finish! We would probably only return if they upped the portions. Pasta is cheap - there is no reason it should cost what it did. Nice interior - modern and clean. Hopefully they will listen to customers and adjust their portions. read more

We have eaten at this restaurant twice now. It is overpriced for what you get. The curried noodles lack any spice (bland) and they skimp so much on the coconut milk that there is no sauce. The second time I asked for additional sauce and was charged $2,00 more????? My half a bowl of curried noodles with chicken cost me $13. And I was still hungry upon leaving. My husband's salad was nothing special. He said that he would rather go to Panera's an eat a salad there any day! The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean.
