    march 28, 2026 -- buyer beware!!! alpine heat pumps does not stand behind the products they sell…read more 18 months after purchase, major components failure of the compressor and inverter pcb board. best they could do was, we could get out there in maybe 2 weeks, why don't you try calling.....maybe they can help. alpine's representative had the nerve after it was diagnosed by another company as a known c464 failure problem with samsung to say, "well every now and then you get a bad one, but the parts are covered!" 18 months and a major failure, and we're supposed to come up with another $1,500 to $2,000 for labor and freon. so, they don't service what they sell, moreover, don't stand behind the product they recommended. not to mention that as part of mass save had to have our furnace disconnected and we are stll without heat (april 7) in half the house...tonights low expected to be 25 degrees! going on a week and half of 50% heat, not expected to maybe be repaired on the 14th. they were responsive in taking my $28,000 for the system, and now they will not respond! poor customer service! they take your money and move on! shop elsewhere, and go with company that actually services what they sell and stands behind the products they sell. oh, and they no longer sell samsung....no suprise. only 1 star, because can't give zero.

    In 2024 I had Alpine Heat pump install mini-splits at my home in Worcester through Mass-Save. Jason…read morethe sales rep was very dishonest and unprofessional. He (jason) never took out a permit through the City of Worcester. I was notified by city inspector in December 2024. Additionally Jason(Alpine) charged me for four(4) mini-splits and I only recieved three(3) and one(1) condenser. Jason came to my home and I complained to him about mini-splits turn on in the off position. He(jason) stated he would put in a work request ASAP. I didnt here anything for a month until I posted a negative review with Mass-Save and BBB.Do not do business with this company! they are SHADY.

    H&D have replaced my aging oil furnace and air conditioning, as well as a new water heater most…read morerecently. I have their service plan, and for a reasonable price they come out and take care of the HVAC components on a regular basis. The technicians have always been straightforward with me, and I've had zero problems with everything except a whole-house humidifier, which needed to be replaced and re-routing of the drain hose, and they stuck with the problem until it was taken care of. They've always been responsive, and have a collection of great techs who are polite, respectful of property, and friendly. I would recommend them for sure.

In doing so, he told me that my unit was old and tried to sell me a new unit. I was highly offended when he tried to sell me a unit. Furthermore, he that I has asbestos in my unit. I have my unit serviced every year and noone has reported to me that I had asbestos. My whole roof was repaired with new insulation. I was left with no choice but to spend 700.00 at Lowes buying 3 air conditioners. I then got a second option for a technician who blew out the water from the pipe and dries up thw water from the pan. My unit is working better than ever. I am requesting a refund of the 99.00 that I paid for a poor diagnosis and poor customer service. Thank for your time and attention to this matter.     If you are looking for your repair man to go to the wrong house , show up late , and come…read morecompletely unprepared for the job at hand then search no more. Now , I could understand if we didn't tell the intake person at their business what exact repair we needed and what size pipe we would require , but we did , and yet they were unable to do the repair and told us they could not return for weeks to do the repair. They also threw out there that we should be thankful as they were doing us a favor.? I will say the repairman was super nice and clearly just an innocent party in this unprofessional train wreck. I'm not an HVAC specialist but I do know enough to know that it doesn't take 3 weeks to get a small common sized pipe in their possession to do a minimal repair. Our correspondence was with Jason , who we believe is the owners brother. He was beyond rude, disrespectful and down right horrible Just do yourself a favor and pass.

From the owners on through the tech/install crew, everyone was professional and friendly. They did a great job - including a special request for a framed platform for the a/c. It came out great. Also, everything was cleaned up at the end. They explained everything, patiently answered all our questions and helped us every step of the way: including the MassSave HEAT program and even processing our MassSave rebates.
