I've only one issue in the distant past with a replaced outdoor spigot that broke after one season, and they came right out, determined that the original part wasn't for outdoor use and replaced at no charge. I was told that there was another hose that needed to be replaced because it wasn't up to code. I was charged $700 for the replacement hose. The problem was not resolved, and when I called back to inform the plumber that the washing machine was still leaking, I was told to call an appliance tech because they don't repair washing machines. The plumber refused to refund me my money after I had explained that the leak had not been fixed, and the job was not resolved. Now I have to spend more money to have an appliance tech come out and assess the problem, and pay for any repairs. I was taken advantage of, for sure!

They cleaned my compressor, checked my furnace and let me know I'm low on refrigerant. The temperature outside was cool for them to fill it so they will come back when it's hot out. They sold me on the annual membership plan which made a lot of fiscal sense since I was going to pay for today's service and likely have them clean my furnace before Winter anyway. We used JayKom Plumbing for our complex bathroom construction. We were basically creating a brand…read morenew bathroom in an old bedroom. So the job required a plumbing contractor to create an entirely new plumbing system for a shower, tub, toilet and double vanity. And to make it even more difficult, our floors are solid, so the piping and electrical systems all had to be in the bedroom and closet below the new bathroom. It was an intricate system of pipes and valves and who-knows-what in two rooms on two floors. After the initial conversation with Jay, it was clear we had found the very best plumbing contractor imaginable. He was meticulous in his work, a creative problem-solver, has an encyclopedic knowledge of the art and science of plumbing, and is one of the very best customer service professionals I have ever worked with. At every step of the way, he explained what he was doing and why, worked closely with the general contractor and electrician, cleaned up after himself, and made sure we were 100% satisfied with every element he worked on. The final bathroom is spectacular, and we would never use another plumber. Ever. But Jay deserves even more kudos than that. Most of the times he came to our house over the 5-6 weeks of construction, he brought an apprentice. He was a polite young man, and very eager to learn. And it was inspiring listening to Jay teach his craft. No call back after a full week. I finally schedule service and the first service tech is unable to resolve the issue and says he will need to order parts. I get a date when they will come back and end up with a service tech that replaces the faucet and shower head and leaves me with a dripping shower faucet and a hole in the wall that I tells me I need to get an access cover with no real details. He also tells me that since they can't replace the fixtures in my bathroom sink I need to purchase a new vanity and faucet. Mind you over the several days that it took to come out the second time these items could have been ordered and at my home or ready for pick up. On the scheduled day of the third appointment I get a call as I am leaving work to get home for the service that indicates the service tech has an emergency and can't make it. On the fourth day I get several calls from scheduling about where to pick up the items I ordered and then finally requesting the order number. Two techs arrive to install the new vanity and faucet. During the install they started talking about me or another customer while in my bathroom. After all this they try to convince me that my shower faucet isn't leaking and then say if it starts to they can come back. In addition after they left I found two of my towels balled up on the floor wet and with debris in them. They never asked to use these towels for this purpose. My shower faucet is still dripping. At least I have new fixtures and a new vanity.
