Since then, Dave has helped me install a gas line for a gas fireplace insert, and has completely replumbed my master bathroom during a renovation. I cannot say enough positive things about Dave! He's responsive, caring, thoughtful, and extremely skilled (he's a master plumber). His work is indeed impeccable. There's no feeling like the comfort that comes with knowing your plumber knows their stuff and never does shoddy work. He has solved problems I didn't think could be solved. He's bailed me out of a couple of emergency plumbing situations (such as when my contractor ran screws through a water line twice). Dave never leaves a mess behind. And when I did get someone o answer they told me it would be an "emergency, after hours" service call. I could have purchased a used car for the $$$$ they quoted me. After explaining to Conner that I was traveling that Monday for work and would be out of town for a few days, he was able to have the new one delivered at 10am Saturday. Overpriced! Came 3 times for what should have been completed in one trip. After doing some of the work he claimed he didn't have the supplies to replace leaking pipes which I told him about on the phone and showed him when he came the first time. Left a mess of water all over the basement floor. I offered a bucket and he said he had buckets, but never used one. Bill was just a price - no breakdown of supplies or labor. When I called afterwards to ask what he charged per hour - no response. Find someone else!

When I point out what is wrong and to replace it, they always want to try and fix it - and within a couple days it is leaking again. I basically ended up spending $1000 mostly labor for 5 shutoff valves and the inside of a toilet tank replaced. They charge about $150 to show up and about $125 for any part of time past the first hour. Seems they always need 65 minutes..... and lately added $4 for gas to travel, they are under 3 miles away. And when I call to tell them what they fixed is still broken, it takes at least a week to come and the same fees are charged as though it is a new repair vs correcting what they already charged me for and didn't fix or replace. It seems as though they don't care and act like they are doing a favor just by showing up. For a place that used to be well regarded, I agree they are not worth my time or money and I will be going elsewhere.
