pick-up order, chicken was good, they add lot of sauces to their chicken. favorite was the sweet & mild, and chili soy sauce. The hot added nice kick to it, but wasn't super spicy that you couldn't taste your food. if you take it home, mix in cooked rice with the leftover sauce and you have a second meal. the coleslaw was ok, very Koreanized as they added corn to it.

Updated 6-16-24, came and got the exact same order 12 sweet and mild and 12 spicy soy flavor just as wonderful what changed is the crispness of the wings which were much better than last time please keep up this level crispness. Magic fries were still amazing.

Very tasty Korean fried chicken. Chicken is very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My personal favorite flavor is their soy garlic sauce. I also like how their sweet & mild sauce didn't burn my mouth because I have a low spice tolerance. Place is very small with only a counter to eat at, so it's best to order out and eat it right away to ensure for maximum chicken crispiness. I appreciate how you can easily order online, on Snackpass, or using their kiosk. Can't wait to come again to try the rest of their menu.

Great tasting chicken. Bone in is my favorite. It has a sweet and tangy flavor on the plain flavor. I ordered a d a 8-piece and had to turn around and get more they were so good. The magic fries are delicious. My only complaint would be they are a little expensive but I will still go back.

Cute little store front. Enjoyed our fries and sweet & mild + soy garlic bone-in wings. Bone-in wings were crisp, plump, and flavorful!

Food is amazing. 10/10 experience. Customer service is spectacular, very helpful. Chicken tastes so fresh. Highly recommend.

(I ate it all) The sauce was quite good, and it was drenched in sauce. I even thought the sweet potatoes fries were above average. Don't know what makes these fries so tasty, but they were exceptional. You get a lot of meat and a little bit of fries, which is better than getting mostly fries and a little bit of meat. The staff is pretty good about quickly cleaning the tables after people leave, and they've got K-pop performances on the television. I did not stay to eat, but the ambiance was fine. Since this place is close to my work, I'm definitely recommending my coworkers go there for lunch.

I was pretty disappointed then but when we came around this time, I was so happy that they changed it for the weekends. The staff were all so nice and helpful. This location is slightly different- I like that the Troy location has a few extra utensils on each table (extra paper plates, chopsticks, forks, gloves). They gave us a couple extra napkins but they were pretty small (napkins used for drinks). We ordered the kimchi fried rice- which is always delicious and pretty consistent. And a medium (16 pcs) Gangnam style- our favorite. Yes, it's pretty pricey but the chicken is worth it! It is definitely better enjoyed at the restaurant, so the chicken doesn't lose its crisp. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for KFC.

So here we are today in Ann Arbor to check out Mr. Spots! Atmosphere/Appearance: It's as simple as you want it to be and as unchanged as ever. University of Michigan sports memorabilia and pictures plaster the walls. There's the quintessential drop-ceiling, light wooden paneling on the walls, rounded bench seats and TVs for menus. I don't remember music playing, but there had to be, right? Service: You just go to the counter and order your food then it's brought right out to you. Nothing crazy and we had no issues. Food: I started off with their Philly Original which pays homage to, well, you can guess. Lol. Their own cheesesteak version has like, marinara, onions, peppers and all kinds of stuff on it, but I'm here for the Philly! I got their 10" and the bread was soft, the meat was cooked well, the American cheese-wiz was tasty, but it was fine. It was pretty standard for a cheesesteak, nothing crazy. I was also able to try their Suicide Sauce with both a waffle fry and a wing. It was HOT. About a 7 on the Weavi Heat Scale (I.Y.K.Y.K.). I could definitely handle it and went back for extra dips. The sauce had plenty of good flavor alongside the heat. Value: Cheap eats here man. I'm happy Mr. Spot's has been able to keep the prices low-enough for college students to be able to have a decent meal here without breaking their bank. In conclusion, I liked it here! Would I go out of my way looking for Tom Brady's favorite cheesesteak that got him through college? Nah, but the food here IS GOOD! I wanna come back and check out their other flavors of wings! But there's a reason Mr. Spots has been here so long! Make sure you come and check out why.

By the time I got home (about 20 minutes later), the food was still warm and so delicious. The fries were golden brown, crispy, and honestly the best I've had in a while. For a "small" order, you get a ton--easily more than a large fry at McDonald's, and way better. The ranch deserves its own shoutout--it's the best ranch I've ever had! I would literally buy a bottle if they sold it. The breadsticks were warm, soft, and so tasty--and the portion was so generous! And the chicken gyro? Absolutely delicious. They load it up with plenty of chicken, and the cucumber sauce ties it all together perfectly. On top of all that, the workers here are always so kind. The food, portions, and service are all incredible--I'd recommend this place to anyone!

We ordered 3 large cheesesteaks, 2 fries, and cheesesteak rolls, plus paid extra for add ons like cherry peppers on the side. Not only did they forget the extras entirely, but the "large" sandwiches were a joke. They used bigger buns and apparently decided that counted as a larger sandwich, because there was definitely not more meat. In fact, the meat barely covered HALF the bread. We literally have to cook extra meat at home just to turn these into actual cheesesteaks. And the cheesesteak rolls? The menu photo shows four halves. What showed up was ONE roll cut in half. That's it. The curly fries were the only thing remotely worth the money. Charging extra for every tiny add on while simultaneously skimping on the actual food (and the addons) is wild. If you're going to charge premium prices, at least put enough meat on the sandwich to justify calling it a cheesesteak.

Closed on Mondays, I think my dad scheduled his treatments around their hours because he likes it so much. There is a strong smell of disinfectant when you walk in that doesn't mix well with whatever smell is coming from the pipes but I recall this same issue at this location long before it was Plate. No worries. It's clean and welcoming. We sat, my dad choosing a bench side table with a cushion. I ordered a couple appetizers from the order pad at the table while we waited for our third person. Hot tea, water l, edamame and takoyaki. All very good. The woman that greeted us was so warm and friendly. She was also our server. I ordered the sushi lunch bento. They had teriyaki beef bento. I even visited twice before writing this review because I wanted to be fair. Both times, I ordered the bento box (tried the chicken, salmon, and beef). While the presentation was awesome, I felt the dishes were a bit too fried and oily, and the flavors were quite tasteless and mild. The sushi (California rolls), however, was the highlight : fresh, generous, and delicious! I really appreciated that part. For improvement, Some small details could make a big difference. For example, they didn't have yum yum sauce, and the salad portion was quite small and it is just cucumber. The service could also be more attentive ( though the owner personally checks on guests, which shows her genuine care and hospitality.) The restaurant is clean and cozy, with a nice atmosphere. I love that they use a digital menu, but a little more explanation of the dishes would help guests choose more confidently. Overall, with a lot of work and effort, this place has good potential and a lot of heart behind it for a small business. With a bit more focus on enhanced quality , flavor and and balance, I believe it could easily work thier ways to become a visited spots in town.

This place is aligned fairly well though with food in Korea though ie not highly westernized. This place is in the center of the college area on Liberty and State street. The selection is not extensive but the basics are here including BBQ. Side dishes are decent, Kimchi, which is fundamental to any Korean meal and varies by region, is always included and people have strong opinions about. Theirs is OK but not top notch. Other side dishes are decent. Whatever we ordered, BBQ, Yuk Gae Jang, Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap (Rice. Vegetables and beef inn stone pot), other was pretty good.....just like Seoul Garden used to be before ownership change. We used to go almost exclusively to Seoul Garden near the mall off Boardwalk but after ownership change stopped as the taste changed significantly and not for the better. Its nice to have The Seoul is an option. They have beer and soju (Ubiquitous Korean liquor in Korea that along with Kimchi is many Koreans blood) Environment of the restaurant is modern but still a bit cozy. Overall, definitely worth a try. While we are at it, I have spent allot of time in Japan on business (some vacationing too) and I know it's trendy to go there now especially with the exchange rate, and by all means go, allot to see and experience (and eat!) there. But don't overlook Korea. The two countries have a torrid history and don't want to admit they are similar in many ways....but they are and Korea is loaded with great places to go and food to eat.
