This location was great. Great customer service & communication. Nice ppl/ polite staff. The place was clean and they moved in a timely manner. If im ever in the area, i work stop by again. Our food tasted amazing. It was hot and fresh. My oreo shake was the best! The superman cheesecake could be better tho lol expected differently.

This dish was so delicious, the service as usual was amazing. It took less than eight minutes to finish the dish to be made. The restaurant was spotless and I would 100% recommend going to this restaurant.

I've been meaning to try Lefty's for some time... always drove by it after going to Meijer. Finally, ordered to go for dinner. Ordered online the following: - two Cheesesteak Hoagie 8 inch with spicy cherry pepper on the side. - Reuben on Rye - Cheese Sticks - Onion Rings - Curly Fries The cheesesteak was good, the meat was mostly in the center of the bun and the bun was bit narrower then what I had expected. The cheese is on the bottom of the bun - in case you wanted to know lol. The Reuben was decent - could have used more sauerkraut and Russian dressing. Fries and the cheese stick was good... the only draw back was the onion rings... some were burnt and two large onion rings - if you opened it up - you'll find the dry batter inside.... Outside of that, decent experience. I'll have to try their wings and hamburger next time.

My friend and I went here after the football game and we are glad we did! Just got a couple of cheesesteaks and fries and we were not disappointed. Bread was soft, sandwich was hot, meaty, and flavorful. Fries were good, but I would try other options next time, like the curly fries. Maybe I would add lettuce, tomato and mayo to my next sandwich? Maybe try the chicken cheesesteak next time, too? This is not Philadelphia, I know. Ann Arbor. But they sure do come close to it! (Can you wipe the tables down for customers? Thanks)

Super good cheese steak!!! Had the one with flaming hot cheetos and nacho cheese.. A regular size is pretty dang big too! Well worth the money, I'll definitely be back and recommend this place!

Not worth the money a lot of bread and onions compared to meat, i have had better steak hoggies for less money.

The fries were good. The sandwich was not. The beef was bland, the bun mushy. The loud country music didn't help.

So here we are today in Ann Arbor to check out Mr. Spots! Atmosphere/Appearance: It's as simple as you want it to be and as unchanged as ever. University of Michigan sports memorabilia and pictures plaster the walls. There's the quintessential drop-ceiling, light wooden paneling on the walls, rounded bench seats and TVs for menus. I don't remember music playing, but there had to be, right? Service: You just go to the counter and order your food then it's brought right out to you. Nothing crazy and we had no issues. Food: I started off with their Philly Original which pays homage to, well, you can guess. Lol. Their own cheesesteak version has like, marinara, onions, peppers and all kinds of stuff on it, but I'm here for the Philly! I got their 10" and the bread was soft, the meat was cooked well, the American cheese-wiz was tasty, but it was fine. It was pretty standard for a cheesesteak, nothing crazy. I was also able to try their Suicide Sauce with both a waffle fry and a wing. It was HOT. About a 7 on the Weavi Heat Scale (I.Y.K.Y.K.). I could definitely handle it and went back for extra dips. The sauce had plenty of good flavor alongside the heat. Value: Cheap eats here man. I'm happy Mr. Spot's has been able to keep the prices low-enough for college students to be able to have a decent meal here without breaking their bank. In conclusion, I liked it here! Would I go out of my way looking for Tom Brady's favorite cheesesteak that got him through college? Nah, but the food here IS GOOD! I wanna come back and check out their other flavors of wings! But there's a reason Mr. Spots has been here so long! Make sure you come and check out why.

This is a super cute spot that specializes in smoked meat and sausages... yes please. We ordered at the counter and the employees were very friendly and helpful with great suggestions. I got the Michigan asparagus, onion, and cheddar brat, and Nate got the currywurst. We also got a cup of chili to share. We got a buzzer for our order and then sat down in the heated outdoor space. They have a lot of outdoor seating and some firepits, so I really want to come back in the fall or summer. Our food was done quickly and we had fun picking stuff from the toppings bar. They had chopped onions, jalapenos, banana peppers, sauerkraut etc. and lots of sauces. I LOVED the brat. It was easy to bite and not super snappy which I didn't mind. The bun was perfectly toasted and the flavor combination was delicious. Kind of like a broccoli cheddar vibe. I had some of the currywurst which was also delicious! The chili was packed with brisket and pulled pork, and was really tasty. There is a bar so you can enjoy a beer with your sausage, but we just grabbed some cold drinks from the cooler. They even have ice cream and floats!! There are lots of great items for sale as well, including lots of pickled things, frozen pierogi, meat sticks and jerky, and they even have Trenary Toast (#iykyk). I am already planning my next visit to try more brats and the brisket sandwich. This is such a great concept and I really wish we had a place like this in Grand Rapids.

So while it was chaotic and overwhelming, the workers would hand you a menu, explain the purchasing process and even give you requested samples! Due to trying a sample of their pretzel, I ended buying a bag. An $8 bag!!! It was perfectly crunchy and buttery and very good! I don't even like pretzels and these impressed me. Also got a $9 bag of only 5 palmier cookies. They were good but definitely a splurge. BF bought a small bottle of balsamic vinegar for $23, like wut?! I eyed a jar of salsa for $28 and jam for $16 but damn, everything was way above even farmer's market prices. The sandwiches start at $18 for a small and go to $24 for a large. BF and I got the chicken avocado on challah bread and a new crunchy pickle. Zingerman's does a good job with their pickles! Skins were a little too hard but I love that they're not overly pickled and still crunchy and not too much other seasoning. For $21, the sandwich was not very big and they don't include chips or fries. If I lived closer, heck yes I would come here pretty often to try a sample and buy a very expensive baked good. I appreciated the very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was giving Trader Joe's employee energy! Parking was a little tricky but not impossible. We came with locals so they knew what was up.

I've also tried their Pepperoni Roll and Mushroom Steak & Cheese Calzones, slices of their round and Detroit style. Well, it's not Jet's Pizza where you can get flavored crusts, but the Detroit Style pizza in itself was excellent! The pizza sauce tasted fresh, I would stick to the Detroit style... round is good, but square is much better! As for the wings, it's just fried wing dings served with dipping sauces, the sauce is not mixed into the wings. Their mushroom steak & cheese is good, I would stay away from the pepperoni roll.... inside is filled with the oil from the pepperoni. Definitely call ahead and place your order, mine was ready in 20 minutes. Between here and Jet's my heart is going to be torn!
