I discovered this yogurt randomly. I wish I could remember how. I suspect it was on sale somewhere and I thought "why not"? It's usually on the shelves for $2.50 a container, which is above my price point. But sometimes it's on sale for $2 each. At that price I treat myself and my family. We love all the flavors, but the lemon is probably my fav. Recently a Whole Foods had their "crunch" versions. Smaller cups of yogurt with a topping of some sort. Same price. I picked them up because they were on sale. Otherwise the price point is too high for me to buy often. These crunchy ones are terrific too. This is SO delicious!!! I just tried the caramel yogurt!!!! It is so creamy and yummy!!!!! I am excited to try more flavors!

I have to say, I was a bit worried when Noosa started distributing nationally ... I kind of miss the batch-to-batch variability they used to have. I especially loved it when I got a few tubs from an especially tart batch back in the day when they only sold through our local farmers' markets, and now that they've scaled-up the QC'd formula seems to be on the sweet end of the spectrum. Nonetheless, the texture is still creamy enough to feel like a really indulgent dessert. I appreciate that I still see Noosa at the Morning Fresh Dairy stand at the farmers' market, and that we get to try out new flavors before they hit national distribution. I am loving the new lemon flavor -- certainly assuages some of the regret about the yogurt itself losing some of its tartness. It will definitely find its way into my rotation of favorite flavors, along with strawberry-rhubarb and blueberry. There's also a new passionfruit flavor for you tropical fruit fiends out there. read more

FRAUD! Misleading. Hypocrisy. Read the ingredients list before you buy or eat! NOOSA MATES -- HONEY CRANBERRY ALMOND WASTEFUL PACKAGING -- top lid only has 1/8, or a bare level of granola. Bottom container is only 1/3 filled with yogurt. How much would an efficient/useful packaging save a $75+M in yearly sales? You can save an entire lid and a foil. Compact packaging would make it easier to carry/stuff in the purse/jacket on the go. WASTEFUL PACKAGING is also hiding the fact that MATES is only 5.5 oz of yogurt instead of 8 oz. :-( READ INGREDIENTS -- label should read HONEY CRANBERRY ALMOND + COCONUT. COCONUT PALM SUGAR is a forgivable flavor. When you add COCONUT OIL, coconut flavor is NOW dominant. QUANTITY vs VALUES -- I guess being a sell out trumps over VALUES since 2014 huh? Quality is undeniably present. NOTE that humans still value quality vs quantity. Maybe the savings in product packaging would give consumers MORE portion at the same price. I love Noosa yogurt its my favorite its real creamy lots of fresh fruit on the bottom its the only yogurt I will eat now as all other yogurts either have no flavor or r an immatation sweetener my only complaint is its very expensive and sometimes I can't afford but to buy only 1 or 2 once in awhile its on sale thats when I buy 8 i wish the company would think to put a sticker on the container with a coupon inside it id even buy more but I'm on a limited income so I can only afford so many in a month. WOW..... I just discovered this yogurt and I am beyond impressed. Looking at the wall of yogurt varieties these days is absurd and trying to find a great one amidst the vast majority, which are just commonplace, is somewhat hard to do. Not today!!!!!!! They had what I thought were some offbeat flavors, such as Mexican chocolate and jalapeño and pineapple, but upon tasting each I couldn't get enough and went back to the store to stock up. I'm a certified yogurt-hater. Seriously. I hate it with a passion. I won't even eat Pinkberry. I think my mom force-feeding me yogurt in me younger years could be considered cruel and unsual punishment. That was until this. My healthy-eating friends (yes, I have couple of them) recommended this and after hearing that another yogurt-hating buddy of mine really liked it I decided to head to my friendly neighborhood Target. Decided to get the honey, strawberry rhubarb, peach, and mango off the bat. I used to love this yoghurt. I converted a ton of people to this yoghurt (including accosting strangers at Target and forcing them to try it). I thought my life was complete, I had found the best yoghurt and no need to search anymore for my prince charming. Then, my dreams were shattered and I saw that kosher gelatin was being added. I knew it was too good to be true. Yes, to be honest, it still tastes great, but leaves a sour taste in my heart knowing that they are cutting corners to try and make some more profit. I see a massage therapist whom I will review later. We went to a all natural health food store and she pointed out this yogurt. She said it was the best she ever had, I thought what's the best yogurt. I purchased the honey flavor. I really wasn't expecting anything special. I unwrapped the package, opened the lid, grabbed a plastic fork, took a scoop, shoved it in my mouth, and OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! If there is a thing as the best yogurt in the world, by golly this is it! Noosa used to be so delicious that I would lick each lid clean after finishing. I hoarded the yoghurt every time I went to Target. The new recipe--mind you, I'm not opposed to gelatin for any reason other than its effects on taste--has destroyed the perfect, creamy texture which once justified the $2.50 price tag. It's just not delicious anymore. Most if not all of Noosa's competitors--Fage and Chobani--still boast few ingredients other than cultures, milk, and fruit. Noosa has dropped down to the level of other gelatin-reliant yogurts, like Yoplait, without a corresponding drop in price. Yes, they now add gelatin and pectin to their yogurt. I never liked the taste and texture of gelatin in yogurt. The very best producers don't include gelatin and pectin. I now buy FAGE "Zero" Plain instead. Only FAGE fruit flavors have corn starch and pectin, and that is why I buy Plain, and add my own fruit, or just eat it plain. Also, I can better deal with the corn starch addition than with gelatin. And here are some lines from Noosa's site: What is the source of your Kosher Gelatin? The Kosher Gelatin we use is a bovine gelatin. Regretfully, we understand that our product may not be acceptable to vegetarian consumers because of this. read more

I used to love this yoghurt, but now they add gelatin, so no more for me. What annoys me is their excuse about consistency. I ate a lot of Noosa since I first tried it and I can honestly say I never had a bad one. It seems a lot of people on Yelp are of the same mind. Noosa has a contact page on their website. E-mail them and let them know. Maybe with enough people telling them they don't want gelatin, they will change. This is, by far - the best yogurt I've ever had in all of my days. It's the creamiest, tastiest most wonderful yogurt you can buy. I am so glad that they carry it in almost every supermarket now. I've seen noosa around for years and ignored it. First, i found the tub too big. I couldn't imagine a situation where i needed to eat that much youghurt. But i caved recently. I grew up overseas and i have never found any youghurt that tasted or had a texture like anything close to what i grew up with. Everything is either too sweet and dessert-y, too bloody tart, too toothpastey from all the milk fat being removed or some combination of the three. Then i tried noosa. There it was! The taste! Something's off with the texture but the taste was definitely it. I was in nostalgia heaven.... Until i saw the ingredients. Ugh. Come on. Gelatin? Really? What a cop out. If i wanted to eat gelatin i'd certainly get some jello. I dont like jello. I also don't like ingredients that don't belong. Now i'm not some vegeterian whining about the gelatin( while eating youghurt no less...) I just sincerely believe this is a cost cutting measure. And i hate cost cutting measures applied to luxury items. And this, is a luxury yougurt. At least its priced as such. So... This.is.the.best.yogHurt. Period. I have had other yogurts and they CANNOT compare to this yogurt. I enjoy eating this yogurt as it is so thick and creamy and delicious. They have many different flavors, all are just as delicious as the other. My favorite is the blueberry flavored yogurt. That particular one is simply divine. I discovered this yogurt while living in Colorado and shortly afterwards I moved from there and thought that I would never see this wonderful yogurt again. But I was wrong! All the way in the great state of Virginia you can find this yogurt at your local Kroger or Target. (eh...I might be exaggerating on the great part). Noosa Yoghurt is amazing. It tastes like a decadent dessert. I don't know what their secret Aussie process is but it must be magic. I requested my local grocer start carrying the mango flavor - they have all the other varieties. Right now, I'm eating a strawberry rhubarb at my desk at work. It's creamy and sweet but not too sweet. It's just the right consistency - thick but not too thick. It also has this slight tartness that just adds to the experience. I since did some further investigating of Kosher gelatin and it is in fact derived from an animal and is therefor of course NOT vegetarian as i first, mistakenly, assumed. Strange that the product is still certified Kosher yet contains dairy and an ingredient derived from the hide of an animal. Kosher laws prohibit eating meat and dairy together. I guess the hide is not considered meat. That being said, sadly i have to give this 1 star instead of 5 which i would have liked to had it been made without the gelatin. read more

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and that is thanks to yogurt. I've tried it all and Noosa is by far the best. It might be a good thing I don't have easy access to it when living abroad because in Colorado, I don't reserve it for just breakfast but eat it at just about any time of the day and can go through numerous cartons a week. This product was something I had heard was fantastic from a friend, so I picked it up from Costco. It tasted like I was eating sugar by the spoon and came in only a 4oz serving. 15 grams of sugar in 4oz explains it. Wow.
