We had a sick fish and instead of waiting for work hours to reply, they messaged back and asked us to meet them at the store. He gave detailed instructions on what to do and even wrote it down... which is super helpful as I tend to forget easily. If they don't have what you need, they will tell you where you can go instead of just saying "no, sorry". I can't say enough good things about these people! They are the best! The store is not very big but has an amazing selection of fish, live plants, and coral. The prices are prety decent considering it's a small business. We live on the other side of town, but now that we found The Deep, we go right past the other pet stores for the best service and it is 100% worth it!

Tyler is so reliable--he was always punctual and never missed a scheduled visit. He quickly diagnosed and fixed 2 (maybe 3?) pond emergencies (heavy-duty overflows due to rain or other factors), coming over within a few hours of my frantic messages that the pond was overflowing into my yard, the neighbors yard and the sidewalk. He is talented, responsible, intelligent (every diagnosis he made when things weren't working perfectly was correct), friendly, reliable, and affordable. I asked that they do the dog that had the puppies first because she was skidich leaving her pups. I could not see what was being done because they were in an area I couldn't see. There were so many dogs being worked on. Very busy. Less than an hour they brought my dogs. The mom dog was damp but the other one was completely dry. I was surprised it was less than an hour for the two dogs. In other places I've gone to, it is almost an hour each to service. After i took them,They had no shampoo smell a nd noticed the mom dogs nails were not trimmed properly. Still long and very sharp instead if grinding down. I called the next day and said her nails weren't trimmed properly. So the person I spoke to said to come back to have them redone. I did. This was somuch of my time wasted and more nervous tension for the moment dog to leave her pups. The nails were trimmed properly now. Also, I was told one person was going to work on the dogs. I feel the way the both were so different and the time it took, there had to be more than one. She did not come ot to apologize about the trouble and had a different person take care of the nails. So, watching as the other employees work on the other dogs, and the amount of time spent washing, I feel they didn't do what I had asked to wash. It also takes time to wash and dry.. I will not be going back.
