I needed some help fixing a few things in my trailer that I didn't have the time to deal with…read more Roman took care of fixing some leaking PEX fittings under the kitchen sink, adding silicone to the kitchen sink and bathroom sink, as well as fixing many of the cabinets in the trailer that had the glass fall out of them (the hot glue used at the factory degrades quickly and the glass just falls out!). There was a lot of water damage to the base of the island from the leaking PEX fittings, and I hired Roman to replace it, but instead of charging me for the bigger job he told me that it would be a lot easier to just cover the water damage with additional boards since finding the matching color would be really difficult. It looks just as good, and it saved me some money. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for any future needs.

Once I made the decision to go with 3 Generations, I started working with Jeremy who went the extra mile to meet me at my work to sign the paperwork and select the type of siding for the house. We signed the paperwork in the late Fall, which is a busy time for them but Jeremy was always up front with their estimated timing, which I really appreciated. Once the work started, the job was completed pretty quickly. Again, Jeremy and his crew were very communicative and kept me updated on the status of the work until it was done. They also fixed some plywood dry rot and installed new plywood as well as correcting some roof deck problems in addition to all of the siding replacement. Iron Caz owner, Daniel, is a professional welder - he used to do welding on skyscrapers in San Francisco. Daniel can custom make just about anything out of metal! Iron Caz has almost completed a massive iron fencing, pillar, concrete slab, and gate project - in our yard and our neighbors yard. In the neighbors yard, they had to take down about 450 feet of a 3 foot high brick wall. They put in 8 cinder block/brick 7 foot pillars, added 600-700 feet of commercial grade iron fencing, four large concrete slabs reinforced with rebar, and a bunch of commercial grade LiftMaster automatic openers and iron gates. This project is massive and the quality of workmanship is superior. They have done a terrific job. It would be very difficult to give an accurate estimate this way because there's a lot of dry rot underneath the steps which needed to be inspected in-person. R&B Framing was the only company which showed up to take a look at the steps. Two days later, Jose Cedillo emailed me an estimate and thoroughly answered my questions. His company only uses Redwood or cedar wood for Victorian homes, though cedar does cost extra. He doesn't use pressure treated wood. We were surprised at how fast his crew finished the job. They showed up on April 9th, early in the morning and worked until the evening. The arrived the next day to finish the rest of the steps and the banisters. He also painted the banisters according to the original white creme color. If it's a legacy house, they'll stick to the originality of the Victorian architecture. (Per building code regulations, when a house is considered a legacy house the paint must be the original--or close to the original color--of when the house was first built.)
