After multiple service attempts and an insurance denial to replace my CPAP machine (not yet 5 years old), I decided to buy one outright. The issue with this is that nobody wants to service the unit after purchase, unless it runs through insurance. Any issues and you will have to deal directly with the manufacturer. Thank you to our very broken insurance companies not covering necessary repairs or medical needs. Found a solution with Norco! I contacted Norco Medical Supplies in Beaverton and Josh was very knowledgeable, caring, listened and suggested to "rent to own" a new CPAP machine and it would be serviced. After talking with multiple companies local and online, and a different representative at Norco, nobody else suggested this! Horrible. I don't even know where to begin (so I won't as it would be long). But during the ten or so times I've had to work with them in the last few weeks -- horrible experience. Try to find someone else for your wheelchair and hospital bed needs. If desperate (like we ended up being after they assured me no problem and then took that back the next day), sure - order from them. But if you want professional, caring, employees that understand the products and how they work without having to call them over and over or wait for twenty minutes in the lobby while ten or so people ignore you standing there --- book elsewhere. read more

Do NOT use Norco. Avoid at all costs. I ordered a mask and was sent the wrong one. Let them know, they sent me a second mask, also incorrect. I asked multiple times the return process and was told I would have to pay AND it was sent to collections almost immediately. I am stunned at how I've been treated. I can't say enough good about Lisa B at the Beaverton Office. I originally started working with someone in the Portland office and they totally dropped the ball. It took months (May-July) to try to get my CPAP machine coordinated with the Portland office and somehow (thank goodness) I ended up with Lisa. She put a rush on it, and it was ordered-put together and I picked it up all within one week. Her care and communication were outstanding! This location of Norco is terrible.There are a few great employees..but customer service is the gold start for horrid. After hours of communication and failed attempts, I gave up on getting cpap supplies and just go to Amazon now. My husband is on oxygen and I just attempted to request some help...the receptionist told me I didnt know what I was talking about and hung up on me.David has to have oxygen, so Im going to have to go to his doctors and request a new provider. Even the employees that delivery supplies agree this is the worst NORCO in the county and the receptionist is not competent. read more

I have previously given a really negative review to this outfit. I haven't had much success in the past reaching them by phone, and I still don't know how that's working, but they've upgraded their websites, now it's a lot easier to order CPAP supplies and to pay my bill. Part of this is the excellent help I got from Whitney in their corporate offices. They get my supply reorders to me quickly. But I'll list a few favorites: having to stand and wait 30 minutes for what turned out to be a group appointment (no place to sit, no privacy); unprofessional and utterly unhelpful customer service; and the robocalls! Have a hard time reconciling the bad reviews with my experience here. I had used the Portland office several years ago when I first got a CPAP and my experience there was always fine with reordering supplies. There came a time when insurance wouldn't pay because I hadn't seen the sleep doctor in a long time, but I don't fault them for that since they were just the messenger and it was my fault for letting it slide, anyway. Recently, I got a new machine and went to the Beaverton office since it's now closer. My experience was fantastic! Keith was extremely thorough and helpful in orienting me with the new machine, identifying what things I might want to do differently this time around, and answering any questions I might have. My sleep study doctor ordered a bipap machine from norco medical. I am very disappointed in the service. When the machine was ordered, they delivered it to my house. When I called to make an appointment to get the machine set up, I was told to set it up myself. Which I did, the headgear has never fit properly. I have a constant problem with leakage. Every time I try to call the Beaverton store someone in a different office answers. Usually in a different State. They don't send an invoice to let me know how much I owe then I get a message saying they are going to turn it over to a collection agency. read more

If I could leave a worse rating I would. I don't think it's necessarily this specific location, but the company in general. My husband has been trying to get the correct supplies ordered for his CPAP for more than six months. They keep sending the wrong equipment and billing us and our insurance for it. Last order that came in August was the wrong supplies and it wasn't even ours. The packing slip was for some person in Montana. when I call the resupply number to talk to someone it's this whole big run around. Was told in August that everything was fixed and they would send the correct product out and a box and return label to to send the other person's supplies back. Waited... never came. Called back when we got a bill for the wrong product that was actually someone else's and was told that a manager would have to call us back. That was two weeks ago. I'm hoping that by leaving this review someone will actually follow up. read more

How do you have a physical retail location but no phone number for the direct location? We've been waiting 3 weeks to get the ELR's my mom needed for her wheelchair. After talking to half a dozen people the first week who just "weren't sure" they could order only the leg rests instead of a whole new chair, we finally found out that they could go ahead just send the leg rests. The leg rests finally get sent to the Beaverton office and we get told on Wednesday of last week 9/22 that they will be sent FedEx or USPS and she would receive by Saturday 9/25. Wait the weekend, no leg rests. Call them back today, Monday 9/27 and they haven't even sent them yet! They're still sitting in the Beaverton office. Norco can't deliver them themselves because the item is "too small." I offered to come pick them up last Wednesday when we called but I would need someone to bring them to my car since I have a baby, but they wouldn't have any way of knowing I was there because they don't have a phone at their location and they need a physical signature from the patient (my mom who is wheelchair bound, duh). At least these are a couple of the runaround excuses we've gotten. So she's been home for 3 weeks unable to even use her wheelchair because she needs the elevated leg rest that's apparently too confusing of an item for any of their staff to know how to handle. read more

If I could give a negative number or stars, I would. Broken equipment, incomplete equipment with no regard for customer service. If you have any other choice- use someone else for your needs. In our case - a broken hospital bed was delivered to a delicate 92 year old - and norco agreed to fix this- in a week. When you bring a piece of equipment that you charge 1100.00 a day for and you just drop it on the bed no explanation of how to use it, turn it on, NOTHING! Then I call in to discover just to speak to on call service who ended up to be the dude that brought us the machine! HE PROMISED TO HAVE SOMEONE CALL AND THAT WAS TUESDAY. Recently, I was contacted by a young lady, Somsuda Johnson, regarding some medical needs for my wife. She made my day! Somsuda was professional; friendly; and phenomenally helpful to me. I have been challenged with moving my wife of 30 years into an assisted living facility. She has a variety of health issues. Somsuda has stayed in touch with me regarding equipment for my wife. This time of my life has been very difficult as I am having to deal with issues that I have never dealt with before. Somsuda has helped me....though her uplifting personality; her professionalism; her empathy; her willingness to help; and the joy I hear in her voice every time I talk with her. Furthermore, she is a font of knowledge regarding my obtaining equipment from Norco. Norco should be very proud to have Somsuda working for them. I had a bad experience here recently and after leaving a voice mail with my complaint I received a call from the mgr as well as from a supervisor in the insurance dept. As they have a contract with Providence that should be a driving force to deliver excellent service. So far I am impressed that my problem was followed up on. I will change my rating once I see how my issues are resolved but so far i am happy. They definitely lack in patient communication. They were prompt with the paperwork, helpful getting the machine properly paid for and the class on usage and care was helpful and informative. The location has a good supply of medical equipment for retail purchase, both CPAP an other useful things. A convenient location with people who seem eager to please. Did not give me a head's up about 2 hour class I had to attend to get my c-pap equipment nor the up front costs. Respiratory therapist did not respond to me when I had issues with my equipment (as promised). Customer service was curt and not interested in assistancing me. We were told that they had the equipment we needed, the next day I drive out there and I'm told that they don't carry it in the store so it have to be shipped from the warehouse.
