This is a nice Nordstrom. The displays are really well kept. I like the brands at this location. It is different from some other Nordstroms. Each store is unique and has it's own flair. I tried on a few things. One blouse I wanted to purchase I had to order because they did not have it in the color I wanted. The saleslady asked me to wait while she was helping someone else. It seemed they were short handed. I was glad to see some holiday sets already out. They have a lot of good hair tools and hair products. I don't come to this location too often but it is always a nice experience when I do. read more

My wife and I were shopping for sport coats at the mens dept. at Nordstroms in the Garden Mall in Palm Beach Gardens for an upcoming wedding. The person helping us was very professional, had excellent advice. He helped staging paired coats, shirts & pants making my decision much easier. He was able to get the coat & pants hemmed quickly in time for the wedding. This store had a great selection of coats, pants & shirts. While we shopped my wife overheard him giving some very sound financial advice to a younger co-worker. Nordstrom is in the Gardens Mall where one can find many other high end retail shops that are predominately located within the mall. This luxury department store has high end products such as clothing, footwear, handbags, jewelry, accessories, cosmetics, and fragrances. There are some stores that I had visited that also provide home furnishings, and in some stores in-house cafes and restaurants. My targeted goal was to acquire a new dress shirt and pants for an unexpected meeting that I personally needed to attend in Miami. The sales representative that assisted me was knowledgeable and quite accommodating g. Since I am a no-nonsense shopper, (I do not like shopping for myself) this was the perfect salesman to assist me through my shopping experience. Visited this Nordstrom in March, looking to get a couple of Tom Ford samples after exploring a lot about them online. I wasn't much of a TF fan until the fragrance guy at my local Nordstrom gave me a couple samples in February, and Tobacco Vanille just really struck me. I got a little addicted to an online perfume review site, and was so excited to try more TF scents. Well, the woman at the fragrance counter was not fully trained, and disappointment ensued. I reached out to the store manager, Grace Pempek, who was immediately on top of it, and beyond kind and professional in her response. She got samples to me, and then some, and while I was only briefly in the Palm Beach area, and didn't have a chance to go back for my purchase at The Gardens Nordstrom location, I did go to my local Nordstrom and buy there. I have since bought a Parfums de Marly fragrance, and two Tom Fords, both of which were from samples Ms. Pempek sent me. I truly truly appreciate her competence and attention to detail. This is definitely the refined-attentive-pampering type of experience Nordstrom proudly offers, and while I don't expect it, it sure is wonderful when they make you feel like a VIP. Grace Pempek totally did that for me in her courtesy and caring. I have family who live about a half hour from this Nordstrom store, and I will definitely recommend it to anyone I know nearby (or visiting)! I will make sure to shop again next time I'm in the area. A big shout out to Joshua Guerrier and Leonie Williams at the GArdens mall location for making my experience at Nordstrom the best ever. I spent 2 hours with three other employees trying to transfer my Nordy notes to a gift card, the system kept crashing every time it reached $100 and they had to start over several times. Finally Joshua and Leonie came to my rescue and were finally able to transfer all the notes to a gift card. They took their time to do it right and finally completed the transaction. If you go too quickly it crashes the system and you have to start over. Nordstrom might want to try to update their computer system when trying to use or transfer Nordy notes. It has always been a problem in every department and seems to take away from waiting on customers properly. Other than this inconvenience, I love shopping at your store. -Sharon Turner read more

As we had never visited the Gardens mall it was surprising to find out that we missed a high end mall in the area that we have visited many times before. We parked on the West entrance of Nordstrom as they had plenty of parking and not many cars in the lot. The Nordstrom in gardens is pretty standard as are most of their stores. As usual everything is immaculately placed and it is always fun to browse through the high end stuff available in the store. There were plenty of employees available to help. Nordstrom is known for their customer service and this store is no different. The store is super clean and the employees make sure that nothing is out of place. They also have a coffee shop at the entrance of the mall similar to the Boca town center Nordstrom. 5 star location a must to visit when you are at the Garden Mall. read more

We go here for the shoes with regularity. Kids grow through shoes so fast!! But it depends on the day you go. Some days there are some super committed helpful people working in the kids shoe section (very knowledgeable). And then days like today when they are understaffed and the staff that is there, the one lady, was not helpful and did not seem to even want to help us - seemed bothered by our request. Maybe she was flustered but I expect more from Nordrstoms. We ended up going to a different store. The rest of the store is beautiful as well and has wonderful selections of big name clothes in a variety. I enjoy shopping here every now and again. read more

Had a bad experience at this Nordstrom today... I am getting married in 2 months and have been keeping an eye out for a reception dress. While I'm the mall last week with my mom we ran into a gorgeous dress however it was $630 which is way over my budget for my reception dress. But because I hadn't spent much time looking we decided to get it and if I find something else I can alway return it! Even spoke with the lady checking us out and she said that is okay! The dress stayed in the bag and in my car the past week until I returned it today. When I handed it to the lady (the same lady that I purchased the dress from who knew my whole story) she informed me that I can't return it because a tag is missing. After becoming very upset and panicking/ searching through the bag and the store trash can. Getting my mother on the phone. Explaining to the worker that something is wrong. All while no one in the store bothered to help. Everyone just looked at me as I was frantically searching through the trash can behind the counter. Not a single person listened to my story or offered to help after I told even the manager. Every person I spoke with said no sorry and walked off right away. After an hour of trying to get someone to listen to me a manager finally offered to look into it after I requested the videos be looked at because that tag is somewhere or when I purchased the dress wasn't on it. She found the tag on the ground next to the trash where the original bag was that I brought the dress in. So as the worker was taking out my dress she accidentally pulled the tag with the bag wrapping it was hung in. I understand the policy and why it is in place but a little more than no sorry and walking away could have resolved this much easier and as opposed to feeling as if I was being looked down on and a problem to the store. read more

I live closer to other Nordstrom's but choose to drive to Palm Beach. The staff is very helpful and I love the customer service. Kristen in Savvy is great and so is Shannon in Individualist. Connie, the eyebrow waxer, is the only person in the world I'll see. The store is organized and they have good events too. I've said before... I'm a Nordie's Girl. This is a beautiful store and any store that carries a selection of clothing in my size gets automatic points. A good petite department is hard to come by. As a general rule, there are sales associates to be found and are usually well informed and happy to help. As we walked through the store, there was plenty to see. This is a stop worth making. I have been searching day and night looking for these specific vans while trying to not have them shipped since I wanted them in hand. What was frustrating is that when I called this Nordstrom I specifically asked if they had the item I wanted in store. The guy on the phone told me "yes!" So I was excited and raced to this store in order to get it. I don't blame them for not having the shoe I wanted, it was apparently rare so nobody had it. What got me furious is that when I arrived and asked for it, suddenly they don't have that shoe available in their store and they never carried it. This is within the same hour. So what sick man decided it would be fun to let me drive my hopeful butt to this location for my hopes to be crushed. Who was so incompetent that they didn't know the color red? What idiot answers a phone and says yes to an item they don't even carry. Now I've wasted my time and gas. I've never been so frustrated and furious. read more

My Mom and I dined at Cafe Bistro last week and were very disappointed with the quality of food and service. Our table was dirty, no hot water available for tea...we had to ask for silverware and napkins since none were provided when drinks were finally delivered. The grilled shrimp salad was awful - the shrimp was burnt and dry; the lime cilantro dressing was all water, no flavor. The chicken gnocchi was even worse...chicken was bone dry, sauce was extremely salty and gnocchi were hard...it all tasted like someone just microwaved it, for a very long time. We both did not feel well afterwords (even though we hardly ate) so obviously the food was old and bad. We have been Nordstrom clients for a very long time (over 25+ years) and cafe bistro clients since moving to the area 8 years ago and have never had such a horrible experience. This Nordstrom's is never "really" busy (nothing compared to the Northeast) but customer service is terrible. Their marketing department is nonexistent...no special events for card holders (just the standard double points which is a joke), holiday specials are also lacking. I just wanted to give a major shout out to Sandra T. in the women's intimates/lingerie section. On Oct. 15, 2019 I was scheduled for a medical procedure that required that I wear a compression garment for at least a couple months afterwards. The problem was, the facility where I was having the procedure didn't have a garment that fit me properly (that's a whole other story) so I ran to Nordstrom in a total panic to see if I could find a suitable option. The woman in the women's intimates section "Sandra T." (this is where the Spanx live folks) was super helpful, knowledgeable, patient and professional (not to mention she looked like she could be attending a red carpet event that afternoon, whereas I looked like I chose my outfit from the Salvation Army's Fall Collection since I was having surgery that day). Anyhoo, I didn't catch her name at the time of my transaction, but it was on the receipt - so I wanted to publicly thank Sandra T. for being so awesome to work with during a time when I was completely stressed out and needing some fast help. This lady is an asset to Nordstrom and really knows customer service - thank you hot Nordstrom lady, you saved the day! Although I did make a purchase..it was strictly bc of the sale price. Not for the pushy, pain in the ass salesman. I picked up a clearance shoe...and asked if it was cheaper then the $55 dollars. Then I looked at a Sperry that was on clearance as well..and asked if that was cheaper. He showed me a shoe that was on sale from $300 to $198. Um, no thank you. Can I get my toms??? He brought out the two pairs for me to try...with two other pairs of Stuart Weizman....really dude? I'll take the toms for $31 dollars please. He also wondered why I wasn't buying the Sperry. It's not too crowded, the service is excellent (as are most Nordstroms), and I love the beauty dept on the first floor. After driving over an hour to this store to pick up the shoe, I was very upset when I arrived and was told by the woman currently working there that they don't even carry the shoe I was looking for in the store. Stay away Clinique counter!!!! I bough a tool kit party eyes for my mom for Christmas. She was happy with her present until we found out it had been previously used!!!! OMG I felt so embarrassed. shame on Clinique manager for selling me something used. Worst part was when I asked a replacement and she said that she was out of the kits as it was only a holidays special but that she will acomódate me by shipping a set to my home at no extra cost. I waited for month and a half aprox and never revived the package. I came back to the store and asked for an explanation to the same wannabe manager, she replied she didn't have the order in the system (in other words it was never placed!). Of course, the manager didn't want to pay for shipping and never placed the order. I just got my money back. by the way, I have been Clinique client for ten years and spent thousand of dollars but this horrible customer service made me switch make up brand. Nordstrom's should be aware of this deceiving technique and reprehend or take action. read more

Today is the second day I have tried to purchase a belt from this store. Yesterday the sales associate helped me. They had one Salvatore Ferragamo belt in stock in my size. Only problem is the belt is locked in a showcase. No one could find the key yesterday. So I told the sales associate I would come back. I come back today few minutes before writing this review. A sales associate took the keys home and has a day off today. Which I can't purchase the belt once again. This is an item I do want. Now I have to wait more time to purchase this belt. I would think Nordstrom would want the sale. Very disappointed in Nordstrom. I hope the keys come in by the end of today or they'll probably lose this sale. read more

Christopher M. Sold me a pair of Jeffrey Campbell boots on Black Friday while I was traveling in Florida. When I got home to Colorado I found out they were two left boots! I am incredibly upset. I got a new pair shipped to me but I was on the phone for at least an hour with a Sales rep and when I called back five minutes after I talked to Chris two other female employees told me he wasn't at work that day.
