NR is a great place to shop. I did have a bad experience this past weekend. I was visiting family in GVL, and stopped in prior to heading home. I purchased a few items. The salesperson who checked me out was Christen- well he messed up badly. 1. He did not apply the extra 40% off my red tag items. 2. I purchased shoes that had a security tag- HE DID NOT REMOVE THE SECURITY TAG. Everyone makes mistakes, but I would need to make a 2hr drive back to rectify his error. My first experience in a Nordstrom Rack, walking out the door I commented to my husband that it barely ranked above Ross or Marshall's. The handbag section is overwhelmed with options and to have mid luxury brands dangling from racks like you'd see at a thrift store is a disgrace. Even thrift stores would have these properly shelved and displayed. The rest of the store was, again overwhelmed with product, a complete mess. I even caught myself picking clothes up from the floor and hanging them back on the rack only to stop myself that I'm there to shop, not work. I cannot believe Nordstrom attaches their name to this! This store needs a major overhaul! Lots of quality items are buried in junk you could purchase on Amazon or Walmart. The displays are a mess. I'm giving two stars. I reserve one star rating for health hazards. The extra star I'm leaving is for the fitting room attendant who was energetic and delightful, the only one who seemed to be enjoying their job at all. I wouldn't recommend shopping at store on Woodruff Rd. I was racially profiled & treated with extreme disrespect! Multiple times. Emily needs to be behind the scenes not upfront dealing with customers or customer service! Instead of the manager making excuses for her she should have been addressed about it she should have been sent home or addressed about her actions. The store is always in shambles & very cluttered & looks worse than the Goodwill store. Selection is old & outdated. Items aren't worth the price or shopping here. If I could give this store zero stars I would! We bought a small suitcase for our daughter for Christmas for $80 We went on one trip (non stop) and the bag completely cracked and broke. We tried to take it back to Nordstrom Rack (with receipt from 2 weeks earlier) and they would not accept it They said it was not an issue with luggage... They said we need to either contact airline or luggage company directly. This is opposite my experience with the actual Nordstrom store. I wish we would have bought from Costco or even Amazon. I made a purchase of two lucky brand shirts on 7/16 and left for Europe 7/19. I returned 8/27 and came into this Nordstrom rack (where I made the purchase) to address a quality issue with the two shirts. My husband wore them one time and they both pilled and faded in the same spot after one wear. They haven't even been in the wash yet. The manager Thorn said that it was over 30 days and they don't accept returns on items that were worn. I explained my intention was not to return them but exchange for store credit as clearly there is a quality issue with these two shirts (which were the same lucky brand shirts just different colors). He kept stating that there's nothing they could do and it's over the return window and they have been worn. I asked how to file a complaint because they were not taking any ownership for the merchandise and it's poor quality (at $20 a shirt) and they gave me the Nordstrom number. Long story short, online doesn't assist with any issues and each store handles things at their own discretion. In all my life I have never seen a company (even 3 escalations on the phone ) never take ownership for a problem and offer zero options to assist the customer in finding a solution. One supervisor Justin even had the audacity over the phone to say that Nordstrom rack stores are off season luxury brands sold at a heavily reduced price and they will always uphold their return policy for that reason. Aka be careful you aren't buying a low price luxury brand that the only reason it's being sold there is because it's crap quality. Severely disappointed in how the company handles customer concerns and how this store does not care and offers a side of attitude rather than solutions. Last time I ever step foot in this store and will gladly spend my money elsewhere. read more

I just moved to Greenville from Houston. This is the worst Nordstrom Rack I've ever been to. The selection is very poor! There is hardly any merchandise and what they do have you could find at a good will. Whom ever is controlling the distribution to this area is really doing a poor job. Why have a large store and no merchandise? Seems Nordstrom's is wasting a lot of money on over head expenses at this location. Nordstroms get the merchandise to Greenville! There is no competition here and Greenville is one the fastest growing cites in the US! WAKE UP! read more

I'd give 0 stars if I could do to the fact I couldn't shop at this location. I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask. I was told that I wasn't able to shop without wearing a mask even with a medical condition and was refused service. After being asked what my medical condition is and being refused service because I don't legally have to say what my condition is I will not be returning to this location even after the pandemic. read more

I witnessed two employees verbally harass and bully a customer inside the Greenville Nordstrom Rack store. One girl was the younger girl "greeter" with the dark hair and blue apron and the other was a big lady who was apparently the "manager" wearing all black from head to toe. They were raising their voices so loudly that every customer in the store (including me) stopped and looked. Not only that, they were literally making such big hand gestures and flailing their arms around, that it looked like they were going to get physical with the customer! Not cool! I was shocked at how they were treating that person, who by the way, was not raising their voice at all. In fact, the manager and the other girl (greeter) were actually using their bodies as a barrier to bully this person out the door. I was appalled to say the least! I just left my stuff there and walked out. Will not do business or give my hard earned money to anyone who treats their customers that way. Sickening! Those people deserved to be fired for their unprofessional conduct. I'm also aware that they're having their numerous Yelp Reviews removed from customers with similar experiences! Talk about censorship! People need to know how these big corporations are treating its customer base. read more

My favorite store! They have some really good prices designer items. I love their show selection. They always have my size in stock even though my size is the average. Super clean store. Very nice staff. They are always on the floor stocking and straightening and take time to ask if you need any help finding something. read more

I am thankful for them and can't imagine having to wear a mask myself for 8+ hours straight! It made me feel safe while I was in there shopping with my 3 children. Nordstrom Rack is definitely at the top of my (and my wife's) list for shopping when it comes to clothing. My wife, being from Seattle originally, grew up shopping and even working at Nordstrom so we were ecstatic when this store opened up in Greenville during the Fall of 2014. We've been shopping here ever since and have enjoyed having a Nordstrom Rack locally. While we have always had great shopping experiences at this particular store, we've been disappointed at times with the overall selection and variety when compared to other Nordstrom Rack stores elsewhere. This is especially true for the men's selection. What's offered is nice and more upscale, it feels like it's basically the same selection and styles for several months at a time. When the store first opened it didn't feel this way, but maybe now they've better identified the overall shopping trends of their SC-based customers. Who knows if that's true since it's just my speculation? But overall, we love shopping at Nordstrom Rack and the staff here have always been very helpful. read more

I purchased men's Born leather boots at Nordstrom Rack approximate 2 months ago, 8/22/17. I wear the boots to work (I work in an office setting) and occasionally out in casual settings. The seam tore, so I decided to take them into the store to see if they would do anything for me (perhaps allow me to exchange for something similar. The store manager, a female, stated because the boots had been worn there wasn't anything she could do. She wasn't willing to budge on her decision at all, as if she had no authority. Her resolve was to take and get them repaired. Nordstrom - Here are my thoughts... first, ensure the quality Second, if by chance the quality wasn't up to standard (which this isn't) at least try to accommodate the customer.... I had such a great experience at Nordstrom Rack today. First of all, I was so pleasantly surprised by their amazing shoe selection. I think the shoe section is the best thing about the store but wow, I found some amazing pairs! The customer service was amazing! I couldn't find the matching shoe to a pair and some employees found them for me in minutes. Sabrina was so kind and helpful. She did convince me to get ALL the shoes I liked which my bank account didn't like but the shoes are quality and timeless. I will be returning! A GREAT DAY FOR SHOPPING! This store was my best friend yesterday as I set out to do a little shopping. They had a great selection of long sweaters, vests and layering pieces. This weather is so unpredictable that I just wanted to add a couple of light options to my wardrobe. They still had quite a bit of summer clothing still left on clearance and it was marked down even more for the holiday sale. I ended of purchasing a sleeveless black maxi and a long burgundy and cream maxi sweater. You can never have too many black maxis especially when traveling because they provide endless styling options and in the right fabric, they travel very well. A black maxi is the perfect piece to add to your "transition" options. You can add layers of jewelry especially long pieces, you can slip a thin nylon tee underneath for a jumper look, add a denim jacket, add a tunic length open top, add a maxi length cardigan, add a scarf and a belt, or add a short button up cardigan in a vibrant color. See? the possibilities really are endless and I can't wait to get creative with my new garment. Don't forget to add a little something special to your long cardigans as well. A simple bold belt in black with certainly make a statement. They have a nice mix of summer and fall shoes/boots so if you are looking to add a little foot candy to your wardrobe, now is the time. Nordstrom Rack is an oxymoron to this cowboy. High end discount shopping. Like jumbo shrimp, pretty ugly or happy sad. In terms of premium discount shopping it's near the top of the heap. If brand names are your preference this is your wheelhouse. Shopping experience can be hit or miss. On this visit I ended up picking up a few choice items. This location in Greenville is newer and a good addition to the discount shopping universe of the Greenville-Spartunburg metro area which already includes Ross, TJ Maxx and Marshall's. Since I work during the day I appreciate that it's open to 9:00 PM in the evening. I'll keep coming here in the future. Many items are still very expensive but you can score some deals if you look hard enough. Selection is men's women's and a small children's section. read more

First time shopper - LAST time shopper. I bought a pair of shoes at this location. Wore them once. They got a crack in them across the top and seriously hurt my feet that day. I went back to the store to return them. They were clearly defective. The manager would not give me my money back. (Actually, just refund on a credit card.) "Sorry, company policy." They gave me a gift card. That was my first time shopping there and my last. They don't stand behind their merchandise and obviously don't care much for their customers.
