Today, I purchased a dress that was by far not a reasonable purchase and not only did the young man who packaged the dress not wrap it...he literally balled it up and shoved it in the bag. I'm not a wealthy person, so when I choose to shop here, it's usually something I've saved for and a special occasion. For him to treat my purchase this way spoke volumes about how they really feel about their customers. I will not be back and if I didn't love this dress so much, I'd return it.

The staff is wonderful, very helpful. During a visit earlier this year, I noticed a woman and young girl frantically searching the floor in the sale room. I asked what was going on and they said the young girl lost an heirloom diamond from her necklace. We tried to search under a nearby shelving unit but could not find it! I went to one of the store associates and told her what was happening. She worked to remove items from the bottom shelves, with no concern about the lovely dress she was wearing. And she was able to pull the shelves up and found the diamond. That is the kind of people that work here. Very caring. Love love this store!

I didn't exactly what to tell her I didn't like her present but there are no ST stores around me. So I had to do it online, which was a nightmare!!! The nice person was Michael in their Coconut Point location. He was very kind. But the return experience was brutal. Are you looking to call their customer service? Good luck, because they're only available 9-2 on weekdays - you know, the hours most of us are working. And I called just now and they transferred me to voicemail. Total ineptitude. Oh but the exchange was almost as bad. I had to log onto my mom's account, put my credit card down and now....my credit card is saved under her account. So the next time she buys presents, guess who will be paying? Me! I was also supposed to get various phon callls back.....Michael was the only one who did. I sent an email right after that telling them that i was reordering the same exact three items in the right size and they should cancel my first order. I responded so quickly, I got a new order number that was only three order numbers later. I received a generic response from a "no reply" email address that said, "We're on it!" Ah, no they weren't. They never responded directly. I received a notification of pending shipping of the order i requested multiple times to cancel again from a no reply email address. I called them again and was on hold so long I had to hang up. Again, I sent another email telling them not to ship the first order as it was an error in size. No Generic response this time. nothing. They shipped both orders four days later anyway. And now they won't take the first one back. In fact in my packages I received instructions on how to return items, and they don't work either. Stay away from the Southern Tide online shop if you expect or care about customer service. I'd offer zero stars if it was an option.
