I love this Nordstrom Rack location. The biggest tip is have an idea of what you're looking before you go into one of these stores. I like their layout and usually every time I go, it's clean and clothes aren't just hanging all over the place. Whenever I go to stores like that, I can usually only "shop" for a few minutes before I become overwhelmed and just want to leave because I know I won't find what I need. The fitting room process is always very easy because there's always an associate there to get you your number and into a room. The check out line can get crazy long, but it moves quickly and on busy days they have their mobile phones available on the floor for shoppers using cards for faster check out. I find that I get great deals on quality items and I've never needed to make a return. I will definitely continue to make Nordy's a stop on my shopping list! read more

Most days I am pretty firmly convinced that Nordstrom Racks are my happy place. I mean, you can get great items here at a great price, especially if you are a savvy shopper. Or if you go during clearance time and have the patience to go through the clearance racks in the back. Patience is a virtue, my friends! This Rack is generally clean and well organized. I'm used to the Nordstrom Racks in the Northwest and greater Seattle area, This is most certainly more organized than some, and about on par with others in that area. The one thing they lack is ample parking space, specifically if you are shopping at a "peak" time. But I can deal, I've gotten some really good deals here. Like a Diane von Furstenburg wrap dress for $21 on clearance. And a Hale Bob dress for $39. Both those dresses originally retailed for well over $200. If that isn't reason enough to check it out, I don't know what is. Because I certainly can't/wouldn't have spend that much on those dresses. And that's not because they aren't gorgeous. The rack also has a great selection of accessories, shoes (more so women's shoes) and my husband has found a plethora of polos and jeans he likes at this particular location. All in all, I love this place. Also, if you pay with card you can check out employees at different kiosk locations throughout the store. And if you have a Nordstrom card or Nordstrom debit you still get the rewards points that end up getting you $20 rewards after you accumulate enough points. read more

This is the BEST place for those with hard-to-find shoe sizes. Let's face it, when you are tall, feet get bigger. Normally it's a pain to find ANY shoes in my size, and as many women as I see perusing the size 12 lot with me, I'm confused why more shoe stores don't cater to us, I feel for these women, especially since most are shorter than me - I feel the shoe shopping pain. So this is my primary reason for coming to Nordstrom Rack. They have my shoe size! *gasp* Now, they don't always have exactly what I'm looking for, you really do need to frequent the place to find variety if you are picky, but that doesn't mean that I can't find a pair that I want to take home with me, I just try to be reasonable and limit myself to shoes I will actually wear. So if you are looking for larger shoes and cheaper brands just don't cut it, try Nordie Rack out. They also do large shoe events for women's size 10 and up (to 14 in-store) and men's size 13(?) and up. It's like a shoe Christmas! I do shop the rest of the store, and sometimes get other items, but shoes is where it is at for me! read more

On the hunt for a new suit. Men's warehouse had nothing to offer me and they were swamped with kids renting tuxes for prom. I had given up for the day, and was actually just picking up some new threads for vacation when I stopped in to the rack. Much to my surprise, I found the exact Tommy Hillfiger suit from men's warehouse. Only it was black and in my size. Oh, and $100 cheaper even though I had to buy it as separated. Once I had everything picked out and tried on, I got measured for tailoring. Then, the sales person helping me explained the Nordstrom card. I can link it to my checking account so it's not a credit card, I get up to $100 a year in free tailoring (as rebates), and earn points for money spent that gets me rebate gift cards. Sign me up. All told, I walked out with a new suit (or will after it's tailored) and I'll be getting a rebate card for $65. I'll definitely be back to use my free tailoring services! I love the rack. Whenever I want good quality items (shoes, clothes, purses, home goods etc.) but to not pay the full price (which is always) I want to come here. So basically I just usually want to shop here. Over the years I've found some great steals on name brand items and have found really great luggage, wallets, towels, undergarments and random clothing items. Shopping for clothes here is probably my least favorite because I tend to have to dig to find what I want and I'm someone who needs to be in the mood for that. It's always kept clean and fairly well-organized. The lines are usually pretty long to check out, but there are a good amount of employees and it usually doesn't end up being too bad. EVERY Single time I come to this store the line is stretched out to the middle back of the store. Tons of store personnel on the floor and 3 cashiers is not a good business practice. This is one of the most well organized Racks that I have been to. There were several in Seattle that were oftne picked over, unorganized and really messy. This Rack is well organized, rarely messy, spacious and easy to navigate. I almost always find something when I visit this location. Parking can be a nightmare if you go on the weekend, but I will put up with limited parking to score awesome deals! read more

They have a good selection of clothes, but you have to be careful. The impression that I was given with Nordstrom Rack is that it is like an outlet store where everything is a great deal. I had a pretty good experience at "The Rack". It's certainly not as big as your standard Nordstrom store, but there's a pretty good selection of threads here. You'll also find a wide range of brands/quality/prices -- which, is great, in my opinion. I know a few folks who work for Nordstrom, who have told me that ~70%-80% of the merchandise at The Rack has been marked down from Nordstrom stores -- so it's definitely a better deal than your average TJ Maxx. I found a great jacket here when I went. Oddly enough, it didn't have any tags on it, and was the only one around. The folks there were super helpful in tracking it down so I could get it. I looked it up online: it retailed for $350+ at Nordstrom; I paid just over $160 at the Rack. I'd say that's a pretty decent buy. They also have on-site alterations for a fairly reasonable price (this jacket is going to cost me about $17...as it's considered outerwear). read more

My whole family loves this store. It is just east of Keystone at the Crossing and they have most of everything you could want. Even my husband who does not like to clothes shop AT ALL will pop in there with me, but usually I buy things to take to him knowing they are good about returns. The store has a great wallet/sunglasses/purse/jewelry area up front, then a kids area, mens area, shoes in back, and womens clothing in the whole center. It is very organized (long dress rack, Nike rack, racks by designer, etc.). They are known for their great assortment of LARGE-size shoes. The shoes are all on display, so it's easy and quick to try on a lot of shoes to find what you want. Prices are well-discounted from the list prices. They even have a home furnishings area with towels and gifts. It's also conveniently located near many other desirable stores and restaurants, so it makes it easy to pop in. It's actually fun to wander around in Nordstrom Rack. They have a good website too. Only negative thing I can think of are the parking challenges and long lines on weekends. I decided to stop in here because this place was SO hyped. Don't believe the hype. The place was fairly small. The first thing I saw when I walked in was this cute orange long jacket. The price tag read somewhere in the ballpark of $250-300. REALLY? The first thing I see if a couple hundred dollars? I thought I was here to find deals. Sure, maybe it's a deal, but not for someone who can find much better things to drop a couple hundred bucks on- Not expecting that. I didn't even look through anything. I more or less just looked around the store, realizing that this place kinda sucks. I looked at the sweater tights (I like tights)- They were about $7-$10 a piece (on sale)- which is no different than anywhere else, really. What a waste. read more

My fiancé and I came in searching for clothes for our engagement photo shoot and were having trouble finding outfits that would compliment each other on camera. I thought the store was fabulous. The prices for the high money items we were looking for were great. The extremely disappointing aspect was the service. I noticed a great deal of employees milling about and straightening racks. They were hard to miss as they had red shirts over nice clothes. The entire 45 minutes I was in the store, not one associate asked me if I needed help finding anything. The lady in the fitting room area seemed uninterested in us. But the worst part of the entire visit was the checkout area. I was unsure of where to go as I didn't see any clear enter, exit signs. My daughter and I stood in what I thought was the entrance as FIVE associates milled about (within three feet of us) and chatted in the check out area. One associate was hanging up returned merchandise for a total of SIX people. I stood there looking like I needed help for a few minutes. Finally an associate walked out, right by and said in passing while pointing: "You might want to go over there where the line is!" My daughter and I moved over and the other gal that was in line offered for me to go first. I thanked her and said it was okay, I was in no hurry. There was another gal behind her who just nodded. The associates continued to chat. A few minutes later the remaining 3 associates left, leaving one associate to check out the line of four people! It took at least 10 minutes for the associate to check me out, by then there were at least four more people in line. This is completely unacceptable. Had the item not been for my daughter and being purchased by my daughter I would have set the item down and walked out. read more

Store is fine but when I was at the counter to check out, the sales associate had a return on the counter and took almost 3 minutes to get it in the bag and the whole time didn't say a word to me. At least say "I'll be right with you" or something. She also didn't say a word to me when she was finished checking me out. Put the receipt in the bag and handed to me while talking to the sales associate next to her. Awful customer service. Not sure I'll go back. I'll shop online. read more

This was an unexpected Yelp. My wife wanted to pick up some shoes. I had a choice, hang out in the car with little buddy or walk him in the stroller around the rack. I was glad I opted for the walk. The layout is pretty impressive. You can see exactly where everting is located as soon as you walk in. Or maybe I could see everything because I'm 6'3"? Any way I saw infant clothes and headed over. Everything was priced at TJ Maxx prices with out the need to dig. I found 9 month baby clothes every easily. Little buddy didn't see anything he liked so, I went to check out shoes. This is a great place to find sale-priced apparel from Nordstrom, even though they won't call it a 'sale.' I really like the variety of men's shoes, I can always find something that I like or want. The clothing section is also very good, plenty of shirts, ties, accessories to boot. I also like that even though items are reduced price, the styles are always near the seasonal trends. Most items are about 30-40% off retail, but occasionally you'll find a good 50-60% mark down. read more

Wow, it is just like TJ Maxx or Marshalls! But a lot more expensive. And what is it with the line for the cash registers? You have to walk clear to the other end of the store to get in line. I have been to Racks in other cities. The merchandise does not seem Nordstrom quality. The display is chaotic. The lines - at least in the Seattle downtown store-were long. I was looking for a very unique and cute pair of lace up boots with "genuine" fur around the top. I found a pair of Charles David leather boots with what Nordstrom Rack described on their website as "genuine" rabbit fur trim. I decided to order them, they were quite expensive at $130.00, which they said was half of the retail price, so I ordered them. When they arrived, I was sorely disappointed in the boots. They had black faux fur trim not "genuine" rabbit fur which felt vey stiff and tacky. I returned the boots to the store and called attention to this with the store manager and also the employee who returned them. The manager could not believe it when she looked them up online and sure enough, the description was "genuine" fur. I am HIGHLY disappointed in this as those were to be a Christmas gift and I ended up with no boots for my gift. While I do like shopping at the Rack, please be aware that what is described online as "genuine" may or may not be. This makes me hesitant to purchase a coat with a racoon fur collar as it may or may not be as such either...Good Luck, read all descriptions and call and ask questions. read more

Worst customer service in town. My Nordstrom note was apparently used by someone 200 miles away to buy lipstick online and I was the one treated like a criminal. The next day, the store manager called and pretended to try to help me. After getting off the phone with her I was sick. Those are three hours of shopping and being shamed and dealing with being stolen from are three hours of my life I'll never get back. She offered me nothing but did it with a smile. They don't value my time and they don't value me as a customer. Stay away. read more

Nordstrom Rack online has the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service of any company I have ever done business with. My order was two months late...no one could tell me why the order was late...then I was told the order was being returned to them and they could not reship to me so I would have to place another order. I placed another order but for different items, since after two months of waiting, my items were no longer in stock...THEN THEY RESHIP MY ORIGINAL ORDER, even though they said they could not do that. Then when my order finally gets here, it's completely the wrong thing. I ask to speak to someone "in charge" over 15 times by email, but I'm still waiting. I've been told for the last 3 weeks that someone will contact me "soon", but I am still waiting. Any responses I have had to my emails, I have to keep explaining the entire situation over and over...and no one seems to know how to answer a simple question...they just say they'll get back to you...but no one ever does. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. HORRIBLE AND RUDE. read more

If you wear a larger sized shoe, the choices Nordstrom Rack offers are better than most other places I've shopped. Found a very nice pair of running shoes (women's size 12 for $43).....Nike brand. They also carry some larger size men's shoes (size 17) which is what my nephew wears (he's 6'9", an yes, he plays basketball). For me, it worth the trip all the way from the southside for the shoes alone. read more

I really like this place because I can find some great deals. They are not always easy to find, but I have found things that I absolutely love that I would not have paid anywhere near the full price for in the regular Nordstrom. If you are looking for the classic Nordstrom shopping experience, you will not get it here, but you may find some great deals on things you really love or need. Its the kind of place you need to check back in to see what they have and see if the prices have changed. You may find nothing one visit, and ten things you must have at a great price a month later. I've shopped at this store on a hundred occasions, but today was the worst customer service I have ever experienced, ever. It was a triple points weekend and I had the nerve to ask a question to my cashier. After she argued with me about my question she then agreed to call credit and ask, but not after she slammed my card on the counter. She asks my question to her credit department, hangs up, tell me that, yes, it only applies to "this type of card" as she holds mine up, confirming what I had said. Then insisted on getting her manager, which took forever, then as soon as he comes over, she scurries away. I pose my question, AGAIN to him and he says that they cannot do that. I tell him the cashier just called your credit department and asked and they said yes, but he just stands there are stares at me like I have three eyes. I was so pissed at this point I just left. For as good of a customer I have been since that location opened, I will never go back. It's obviously run by idiots. Theb only reason I gave it two stars was cause I've never had an issue prior. Would've been 5 stars prior to today!!!!! read more
