During time of Covid, When everyone is giving free shipping, I purchased $179 worth of items in two different orders and was charged shipping on both of them. When I sought to return one shipment because it was the wrong size, I had to pay shipping to return. $15 for the pleasure ordering online and returning. Very bad service. I called twice to talk to him about it. First time I was told there's nothing they can do about it and there's nobody else to speak to. I bought five pairs of shoes total from Nordstrom rack online, had my dad try them on, and apparently because the one with white soles has dirt on the bottom they refuse to except a return. Even though i bought the exact same shoes in a different size and am keeping all the other pairs. They're claiming he wore them, ridiculous. I'm so happy that a Nordstrom Rack opened near my house! I come here way too often and it has quickly become my favorite location. The store is always clean and well organized. It is not the biggest Nordstrom Rack, but they always have a great selection of styles, especially in their Joie and Free People sections. I also always find great deals in their makeup section. I often come here first for Urban Decay makeup before walking over to Ulta because the prices are better and they always have a new UD item in stock. read more

First off, I've been shopping with this Nordstrom's Rack store since it moved from the old location over off of Long Beach Blvd near the post office for over 17 years! I never had any issues with returns, price adjustments, or anything. The employees were always nice and they all knew me because I shopped at least twice a week! I've noticed some of the old employees that moved with the store are now gone and they've hired mostly new employees. I made a return about a month ago and the cashier was shaking and checking my items thoroughly to the point I was there for almost 10 minutes. I only returned 3 items and purchased 2 items in exchange. I didn't really pay attention to the receipt until I got home. It was then when I noticed she returned one of my items then charged me for the same item which she put under the register with the other return items. I called the store and informed the manager of what happened and she told me I had to com back into the store to have my credit returned to my card. Big inconvenience! Today I visited the store and I called my daughter who lives in Las Vegas to find out my grand babies shoe size because there were 2 pair of UGGS priced at 24.97 which I thought was a great deal! The brown pair was a 6 and the black was a 7 my grand daughter where's a 7 so I proceeded to the register. I was checked out by a young man who told me the UGGS were 69.97 not 24.97. Now mind you the boots were rubber band together and the price sticker was on the outside of the shoes which he removed and went to another register to check the price. I told him there were others over there with the same sticker he then insinuated that I changed the price! I told him to check cameras! Now right before this a white lady was at the register and I overheard them politely tell her that the price was inaccurate but they would change the price for her. I had no idea that the shoes were priced incorrectly and to humiliate me by insinuating that I changed the price and customers do it all the time seems like more racially targeted than anything. I asked to speak with the manager and he stated the same thing. Nordstrom Rack needs better service workers with customer service skills instead of choosing to look down on a African American woman with her daughter making both feel like shit! I would never change a price! I have an order to pick up tomorrow and I don't even want to step foot in that particular store again. I'm very upset about what happened and I may take this to an attorney. I placed an order for pick up and I chose the Nordstrom Rack at LBX because the way those employees made me feel was uncalled for today! read more

I didn't even know this Nordstrom Rack existed! Tons of deals and savings on overstock from Nordstrom. A great place to get expensive skin care, hair and other beauty products for pennies on the dollar (well, not that much of a value, but a definite savings). This is a great place to get last seasons shoes as well... if you even care about seasons. The service is nice. People are generally attentive, but not overly so, you won't feel badgered for browsing. read more

VERY belated update: Shortly after writing the review, I was contacted by the manager of this store, Omri Soffer. He was very nice and apologized, saying that is not how the store does business. He asked me to come back in and they would honor the price, if not for that pair of jeans (since it was probably long gone) then for any other pair I wanted. On the day I went in, he was there personally to meet me and made sure everything went smoothly. It was so nice and refreshing to see that customer service (as well as just common courtesy) isn't dead, especially since I've always had such good experiences with Nordstrom in the past. read more

I love this store but yesterday I went and bought a few things and realized that they are scented with air freshener. I am sensitive to chemicals and so are many other people. They are harmful for our health causing respiratory issues, headaches, irritability, anxiety etc and likely contribute to chronic illness. Please don't use air fresheners on your clothes. The use of air fresheners makes your store in accessible for a lot of people that have multiple chemical sensitivity. read more

Grand opening today! They had an invite-only pre-opening on Tuesday that I didn't go to, but my friend that went said it was really fun! I was told that there were workers walking around with cocktails and munchies like fish tacos that you could take and eat while shopping! Went there today and the selection was great - brand name clothing for a great price!! I scored a grey Trouve sweater for less than twenty bucks! Total steal. The store was clean and organized - granted, it has only been open for a day. The store is not as big as the Rack in Costa Mesa, but is bigger than the one at Bella Terra (and had a better selection of clothing than the one in HB). read more

This location was just okay for me. In my opinion, it has a couple drawbacks. I want to start off by saying that Nordstrom rack was created to sell products at discounted prices. But to be honest some of the items I find claim to be on sale but if you do the research, the savings you think you are making aren't much to begin with. For example, I bought some shorts during my visit for $30, which is what I typically spend on similar items. Places like Nordstrom like to show the strikethrough price which is the MSRP, but we all know that it's rare that companies actually sell at the suggested retail price. So when people see the difference between the MSRP and the discounted price they are so quick to buy. In my opinion, another drawback was the size of their men's department. I understand that companies thrive on the women's retail market but the men's department is a joke. I only come to Nordstrom Rack with my girlfriend and I always finish shopping before her because the women's department is 3-4 times larger than the men's. Lastly, check out is always ridiculous. There's always a line up at the front I always end up having to track down an associate to check out with them. I'm so happy that they provide this service, or else leaving the store would be such a hassle. Overall I'm not pleased with the whole idea of Nordstrom Rack. read more

This is by far the best Norstrom Rack that I have shopped at. I love the shoes section here, it is very neatly organized. I can easily find comfortable work shoes here under $100. I sometimes also get scarves, workout clothings, brand name watches, jewerly, Keratase hair products from here. The sales people are very nice and helpful as well. I can be in and out of the stores during my lunch time and pick up whichever clothing item or accessory item I needed. read more

I haven't been to this location I usually go to Lakewood, but as far as men's stuff goes, not very impressive. The least impressive part was the prices. Especially in the shoe department. A lot of this stuff is return and therefore second hand. I don't think the prices fairly reflect that. Interestingly enough is how many people wrote these great reviews about the pricing. Go figure. I guess it's Seal Beach, you know, close enough to the water to get the hoses going. I imagine these rave reviewers are the people I see mad dashing into a store because the flyer says "prices slashed, huge discounts!" In the end you really didn't get that great a deal. I normally shop a lot at any Nordstrom Rack, but this one was by far the best in customer service. My experience was amazing. Every employee came over to ask how we were doing and if we needed any assistance. They were kind, welcoming, and attentive. Most notably Rachel was amazing. She was warm, friendly, and extremely helpful. She even took us aside from the long line and checked out our items on the side cashier. Today was my first time at this location. I came here when they first opened, and of course, everything was organized and clean. They have a better selection than my usual location (Redondo Beach). All of the staff members I came across were very nice, and there was one specific person that went out of their way for me, but unfortunately, I did not get her name. She checked me out as well, and my receipt says Marinell, but I am not sure if it is her. Overall, my first impression of this location was a good one. read more
