I most recently took a lamp over to have a shade fit. They are very knowledgeable in pairing size and shape of a lampshade to the type of lamp you have. Last year, I also brought them a 1930's lamp where the pull chain mechanism had frozen up. In searching through their comprehensive supply of vintage parts, they actually found an original 1930's part to replace The one in the lamp, so that it matched its mate. Everyone there is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would highly recommend using them, as quality shops like this are going to vanish if we don't patronize them.

"hi I'm Marty Meldrum" Looked at my sockets, assessed the trouble. 3-way $18 Single $15 I inquire how many days? Would you like a deposit? Niether if you've got 10-12 minutes, I'll get done now. ( I told him I was from Utica) Or he's that good? Sat in my car as not to hover. Less than 11 minutes later he comes outside waves me in. Showed me the finished repairs. Suggested some high quality, low heat plastic bulbs. ( yes plastic bulbs well I'll be!) I asked how long has this place been around? M&M 75 years shortly!
