They were rude and treated my spouse and I like we were stupid, we were trying to retitle a vehicle and when I noticed they did it wrong they tried arguing with us and thought it was appropriate to threaten to "straighten us out" I will never do business with them again and DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!! read more

Went here they had 3 documents showing the actual name (including a permit) they filed the wrong name after we signed and had us pay again for the drivers license, not very quick old system and they seem to be lacking support in staff environment read more

Went to renew 3 tags after work Arrived there before closing but they locked the door as I walked up and they saw me. Was close to closing time but still time do take care of things before their posted closing hours. They saw me and did not do anything. Another friend won't go there and I defended the business but will rethink that now. read more

I really dislike posting bad reviews, but my experience at the Norman Tag Agency was not good. I waited almost four hours just to renew my drivers license. While I was sitting there, they turned away a lot of people. Around 3:00pm they stopped taking customers altogether because they were too busy. She told me I would probably receive my new license in three weeks to four months. She had no idea! By the way, I received it in five days. They need more staff and management needs to restructure their system, it's not working. It was chaotic and unprofessional. It definitely wasn't private, I could hear everything going on with the customer(s). If you like people watching, take water and have a ball! read more

Most inefficient process and worst customer service of any tag agency I've ever encountered. Stay away! Tried to title a vehicle and it took nearly two hours. Three agents at booths but only one was servicing customers. One was trying to fix a printer and the other was going to run personal errands. After waiting in line forever; then completing all paperwork with agent, you then have to get in line for the cashier. Another wait. Then the "supervisor" has to review all the paperwork again. Oops! Someone made a typo. "Please have a seat while I send it back to her and I'm going to wait on other customers." 20 min later I was called back up to cashier/supervisor. The absolute worst. read more

Not all Tag Agencies are the same, I would avoid this one unless you want to be treated rudely. Only one worker shined with kindness but was ridiculed in front of the public by the most rudest coworker of all . This tag agency does not represent the "Norman" way of kindness and respect for themselves and community members. 2 Thumbs down today. I must say that there is something fishy going on at Norman Tag Agency. How can the cost of transferring a title differ from one agency to the next? I was told my cost at Norman Tag was almost $600, but another Tag agency was $300 cheaper? How can that be possible? Tag agencies are individually owned and with that, they charge what they can get away with I assume ....choose your Tag Agency wisely. read more

One staff was rude and impolite. I told her I came for renewing my driving license when I arrived. She told me to wait in the line. When it was my term, she said we will not work for DL today. Fast, efficient, & professional. Only took 15 minutes to register my car & over the lunch hour no less. The clerk was very personable & provided helpful information about keeping my vehicle registration current as well as with the process of trying to get an appointment with the DPS to transfer an out of state license. I saw a few people come into this office to get their photo taken & pick up their driver's licenses while I was waiting. Apparently, in Oklahoma, DPS just takes your info & passes it on to the tag agency to create the actual license. Perhaps the state should turn over the entire process to the private tag agencies as they were 10 times more efficient & personable than DPS. And their office area is 100 times cleaner than the Norman DPS office. read more

If you go when the parking lot of less than 3/4 full (it is a small lot and it fills up FAST near the end of the month), you should be in and out within 20min tops. Being from SF and spending a typical FULL DAY at the DMV, I find 20min extremely refreshing. Friendly staff and quick service. read more

I've been going to this tag agency for several years to renew tags for multiple vehicles and conduct other business. While there are occasionally short lines (it is the most centrally located of the agencies), I've never had to wait for more than a few minutes. In fact, on several occasions, staff who are obviously working in another sector has switched their focus to help at peak times. The service has always been accurate, even catching some problems that I have had in filling out documents, as well as letting me know how to best proceed through government bureaucracy. I'm not sure what might have caused some of the low ratings seen here, but I've never even heard a complaint from any of the hundreds of people I've seen waited on at the Norman Tag Agency. read more

My daughter interviewed there. The lady interviewing asked very personal questions such as her sexual orientation, medical history, why she wasn't in college etc. Most unprofessional interview I have ever heard of. Previous person interviewed before her was not even considered because of her race. Awful place. read more

One star is too many for this business. I got pulled over because my tag didn't come back registered to my car. I had to go through an expensive mess all caused by this tag agency. We finally uncovered what happened, which is they registered the wrong car and gave me a sticker for another car. I found out that my car was still expired and my car could have been towed because of all of this and a 300 dollar ticket. All because of a clerical error. When I went to speak to a manager they told me one wasn't available but the owners son took it on himself to tell me that this wasn't their fault. I was shocked even when faced with the facts that he denied their responsibility! He called his mom (the owner) who "apparently" supported his treatment and handling of this situation. I am shocked by their lack of accountability. As I told them, a simple apology would have gone a long way! Please don't support a business that makes these kinds of errors in the end it's the customer who will pay the price! Hope this helps others not find themselves in my current situation. I will NEVER do business there again. read more

One star is too many. If you need to get a new license DO NOT go here. They are not nice nor do they communicate. They have signs everywhere with unclear messages, yet refuse to assist. They will stare at you while you attempt to figure out what window you need to go to even though you are the only one there. This location is crap. read more

The employees at this location have no common sense. This is by far not the first time I have had issues with this place but it will be the last. This time, I took my information in to title a car I bought. I financed it with a personal loan so I had that person listed as the lien holder. When I get my title a week later, there was no lien on the title. I called and they were helpful at that point and told me to come in and they would fix it. I show up and they want to charge me $15 to add the lien. I explained I would have paid that the first time but since they screwed up and I had to take time off work for them to fix it, I would not be paying it and they should cover it. The would not agree to that so I left. If im going to be stuck paying for the lien, they are not going to be getting the money for it, someone else will. read more

When I brought my new vehicle in to get my tag, and after waiting in line for some time, the staffer alleged there was some notary stamp problem with my dealer-title paperwork involving some dealer transaction. She claimed I would have to return the paperwork to the dealer to get it straightened out. This sounded suspect, so instead I took my paperwork to another tag agent, who issued me a tag and sent my paperwork to the Tax Commission. I received my title a few days later in the mail. If there had been some "problem" that I needed to straighten out, why did the Tax Commission issue me a title? This was complete BS, as I suspected, and as a result they've lost a customer for life. read more

A sad day...had to transfer my registration on my truck from Texas to Oklahoma. The staff were very helpful and friendly as has been the case every time I've visited this location. I've used this agency for a number of years for all registration needs. Never once had a bad experience! read more

What a bad experience! We bought 2 vehicles in October from out of state. We paid for all Oklahoma fees for our F-150 Platinum at the dealership in Texas, but despite multiple calls, the tag agency did not notify us the title had arrived there until a considerable late fee accumulated. The dealership assures us the title was sent the same week we purchased our truck. But our new car was the topper! We made 3 trips to register it. Each time a different person wanted different paperwork from a different place. Three different agency staff suggested 3 different times we "go to another agency that is not so picky". Apparently they resent registering vehicles bought from out of state dealers. On the last visit, I was there 2 hours. After much disagreement among the staff (I think they took a vote) I was finally allowed to give them several thousand dollars to register my car. I will definitely not bother them again. read more
