New to the area and state, I purchased a vehicle and needed to obtain a license plate. Arriving just before 3pm on a Friday; I expected long lines and short tempers. Pleasantly surprised, there were only five people in front of me, and the line moved along at a reasonable pace. When it was my turn, the woman assisting me was pleasant, friendly and professional. She could tell I was nervous about not having the correct documents. Through the transaction she kept the conversation moving and reassuring me I had everything I needed. Customer service definitely needs to be improved. Not only did I have a bad in person experience, but just calling over the phone asking some quick questions I got round about answers and a rude tone. If I could rate ZERO stars, I would. I called to get a quote on my vehicle (which they do at this location) & was rushed when trying to give the lady the information. On top of her hateful tone she told me "Well, I have a line... so..." It's your job to take care of customers - regardless of it's on the phone or in person. If you don't like your job, and it's an inconvenience to do the job you applied for, then don't work there... I walked in and welcome warming by the lovely ladies behind the counter and was treated as if I was a my grandmothers house .. They were super Nice and fast I was in and out the door in less than 15 mins .. on Top of I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for Registration... Worst tag agency I've ever been to. I came here to update the address on my driver's license. I waited about a half hour and when I came up to the counter, they were rude about it and said it's too late (they're open another hour) and to come back tomorrow at 8:30. Sorry! I work at 8:00. Since it's Thursday, I won't be able to do anything until Monday now. What a waste of time and the rude attitude didn't help. Tuesday update: I tried calling all morning and the phone was busy. I came in at 1:30 PM and there was nobody in line, only two people waiting. That's good, right? I go up to the counter and the lady says you can't walk-in to update your driver's license. I'm told to come back at 8 AM, but I work 8-5 most days and just wasted my break here. They're closed weekends, so there is ZERO reason to come here if you work a normal M-F job. Other people stated the line starts as early as 6 AM. What kind of nonsense is that? I will NEVER come here EVER again. Horrible customer service, rude workers and pathetic policies. read more

Do not try to get an ID/driver's license here. I had the correct paperwork to renew an ID, but their system didn't accept it. I asked if I could come back in 30 minutes with alternative paperwork, Cathy said "no" because their ID appointments were full. Getting through your appointment list by not taking the time to adequately help people with said "appointments" is careless. Cathy also told the person before me "out of thousands of attempts to process class C licenses, our system has only processed a handful, you're lucky". I went to another tag agency same day and they had no issue processing my original paperwork, so it seems something is really wrong with their system for licenses/IDs. Additionally, Cathy was not kind. I realize glitches happen, but a "this really stinks, I'm sorry it didn't work out today" or something similar goes a long way in moments like that. The other services seemed fine, which I suspect is why they don't an even lower overall review, but they only had one person designated to handle IDs and it was terrible. read more

I waited in line for over an hour to get a new license, only to be told I should show up in the morning at 7:30. So, it's 7:30 I'm sitting on a bench waiting for the place to open at 8:30! Went here to get a new DL, walked in at around noon, was told I would have to come back first thing in the morning to make an appointment, customer told me earlier is better because there is a line, asked if I could make an appointment online or my phone, nope, I don't see why anyone puts up with this place, there are places that treat you much better. I'm only giving 1 star because I have to. We went in to register our motorcycle and they barely looked at the paper work and turned us away. We were told that we didn't have all of the paperwork that we needed. The lady was hateful almost as soon as we got to her. We took the SAME paper work to another tag agency and they were able to get us taken care of. All the information that we "didn't have" was on the back of one of the documents that we had handed the lady. There was one that had to be printed out, but the other tag agency that we went to was able to print it out no problem. Since you're reading this, we highly recommend Northeast Tag Agency. Had to come in today to buy my tag, I don't really care for this location but it was close. Walked in and noticed the sign outside had a mask required and limit of 10 customers in at a time. Had my mask on and went on it to notice this was not being enforced. Lady came in behind me with no mask and nothing was said. There were 14 people in the waiting area. I am giving 1 star because it wouldn't let me give 0 stars!! There are plenty of tag agencies that treat you much better! They overcharged us on our excise tax by adding our prepaid oil changes and maintenance as well as tire and wheel insurance. This added an additional $4,000 to the price of the car which was not correct. They are not coding items. It will take months to get a refund. They knew it was wrong and did it anyway! Go to a different tag agency - save yourself some stress, time and money! read more

OKKKKAY YALL BETTER READ THIS! I just moved from California last month and didn't have any clue about how to change my license plate. So originally I had called Sooner Tag Agency since I live closer to that location, WRONG DECISION. They were so rude to me and asked me questions about who the previous owner was and how much I paid for the car and why my dad gave me the car etc. Totally unrelated questions since the title of my car was under my name. And then the lady told me how I had an attitude and that I was being catty, when in reality, she was a total female dog since she was being rude on telling me what steps I need to do and what I need to have to change my license plate. Worst customer service ever. But thanks to them, I was able to come to this location and had the best employee help me. I believe her name was Michelle! I came in 30 min before closing and I was in and out within 10 minutes. She was super helpful and said if I don't know what to write down she can fill it in for me since she's going to look at the car anyways. Honestly so thankful for Michelle and Moore Tag Agency. Almost made me forget how horrible Sooner Tag Agency was. read more

For starters it's not the first time I've been talked down to from this business they won't be very explainitory when asking questions. After covid a older woman came in hard on hearing and wasn't capable of moving too fast and they basically yelled at her to get their point across for her to stay 6ft from people. 10+ people waiting outside because of only 10 customers inside at a time(which i understand) their talking about food and what candy taste better while NO customers at the counter top to get a tag but a line of people waiting outside. Just go inside be quiet and listen to what this group of workers talk about its unreal the level of disrespect were all getting from our own home towns. Then they took a head count of how many people were waiting for D.L. and then when they found out 6 people Sonya came out and said that their D.L. Printer was down and ran everyone off. I don't live in Moore anymore, so I only stopped in here because I arrived in town early for a doctors appointment and thought I could use it by renewing two tags I was carrying around with me rather then wasting that time. I successfully renewed one with someone who may have been trying to win some sort of award for speaking the fewest actual words to the customer before them...don't get me wrong...she was capable of speaking, because she was chatting it up with everyone else in the office about the construction going on around them, some stuff she saw on her phone about someone, and such...but to me, she hardly spoke two words. Then when it came to the second tag which was a personalized firefighter plate, she didn't want the actual firefighter ID card which is what we've had to show for the past 14 years because that expires annually and must be replaced, and proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that you are an active fireman; she wanted an employee ID card like a keycard worn around the neck to access the building which they don't have at the fire department my husband works at (much bigger than Moore), and which proves nothing because civilians that work at the fire station like secretaries and groundskeepers would have those if they were even a thing at his department, but they aren't. A single phone call would have confirmed what is issued and what is not by a huge government employer like this but, alas, she makes the same either way and customer service wasn't what anyone present that day was about anyway. The sooner they got me out of their hair so they could discuss the day's gossip, the better. Fast forward a week or so and they send me the receipt for the one tag I successfully renewed, and in the same envelope was the receipt for another guy that must've renewed his tag there around the same time with his name and address clearly listed on the front of the receipt. I'm sure they won't care if I call them, perhaps I should look for a number and call Mr Hinkel myself and see if he needs me to mail it directly to him because that's the only way he'll see it. By the way, I renewed the second tag using the ID I showed there that was refused without any issue whatsoever on Northwest Expressway a week later. read more

Went in with my husband to get a tag renewed. Every single person working was being hateful and rude. A woman came in to get her ID and had an appointment. From over hearing the conversation - she had the required docs according to the info sheet. But she left her current ID in the car. They were very rude to her and after she stepped out to see if her ID had fallen out in the car - the employees starting talking very harshly and negatively about her and they were very loud and not even trying to be discreet about it. Every customer in the place could hear it. There was another gentleman in there trying to do business who even commented to the employees that they all seemed incredibly unhappy about life. Then he started trying to dish out compliments in an attempt to lighten the incredibly rude and uncomfortable mood. While my husband was doing the transaction to get the tag - the woman doing it never even said a word to him. I've been in Moore my entire life and this place used to be pretty good but has gotten so awful. Will never use this place again nor would I suggest anyone else do it. Only giving one star because we managed to get my tag and not get yelled at by one of the miserable women working. read more
