I was referred Norman and had high expectations, but he is all talk and no follow up. For home insurance, he requested five items for underwriting. I sent the items within an hour. He sat on it for two weeks with no communication. I then ask for the status because the promised completion time was in a week. He hadnt even looked at it and made the excuse that I did not send correct information. Even if that was the case, you would think an email, text or phone call would solve the problem. Imagine my surprise as he had done nothing. He then said, "Don't argue with me." And then hung up on me. He's a salesman that can't back up what he says with any kind of service or professionalism. I've had Allstate with another agent before and Mercury Insurance. None of the agents I've worked with have been as patient and helpful as Norman. When signing up for insurance with Norman, he was giving me tips and advice that no other agent has ever given me. I truly appreciated that because it would help me in the future if, knock on wood, something were to happen. I've spoken to the other workers at the location and they're alright. He's been very proactive about ensuring my policy is as effective as possible - affordable yet comprehensive. Good student discount, safe driver, etc... I can't even list all the ways he saves me money. More importantly, though, he's extremely approachable and really cares for his clients. He has called me before to remind me that my policy's premium was due to avoid a lapse in coverage. He's given me suggestions on modifying my comprehensive coverage and my deductible as the value of my car depreciates. So many stuffs can complain... I had a car insurance with this agent before. Because their problem, I never receive my insurance card (they said they didn't input my room number...). However, I contacted them more than three times with email or phone, and even drove to their office to ask them update my address face to face. They always told me they are sure they change my address this time, however, it never worked. Ridiculously, the first mail I received from them is that they remind me to pay new bills.... Of course I cancel it! Then, the agent I contacted seems to leave the office, and I didn't receive any notice until I email him without any response. Also.... I am not really sure why this agent can receive 5 stars from all comments. But I really sure that I get terrible experience from them.
