I needed a window replaced in my car. It was a specialty window and Safelite told me I'd have to wait 3+ days. I called Norman's in the afternoon and dropped my car off. The next morning, I received a call saying the car was ready. I'm so happy businesses like this still exist. When I picked up the car, the next stop on my itinerary was to find a car wash or somewhere with an industrial vacuum to remove the debris from the broken window, which was all over the seats and floor. When I looked in the car, I noticed Norman's had already vacuumed the entire car and hadn't charged me for it. I was beyond happy. I know it must be extremely difficult for this business to navigate a pandemic, as it is for many other businesses. They went above and beyond all expectations and would recommend them before Safelite or any other place on all accounts. Very communicative customer service and they treat you like a human throughout the entire process. read more

I called Normans today on a recommendation from a Facebook group. The phone number provided was a Burlington county location, but they forwarded my information to the Trenton location. I expected to pay a couple hundred dollars, and expected to have my car there for a few hours. The guy came out, snapped the loose glass on my driver side rear view mirror into place, and refused payment. Thank you very much. read more

Jeep soft top stitching For my previous Jeeps, I've always gone to Norman's in Burlington for stitching repair on my soft tops. Now I have an LJ which a longer Jeep Wrangler and a rock hit my windshield on Rt 29. The first place I called was Norman's for repair. They quoted me at $250 and said they'd fix my inside seal that fell down, which is common on Jeep windshields. I looked up Safelite from my insurance (which won't cover windshields now) and was quoted at $350. I called AAA for who they recommend and they go through Safelite also, with a 10% discount, however, it still brings the total to $330. I will update this after going through Norman's again, since they have been very good to me in the past. read more

Really pleased with the service we received from Norman's. We needed a hitch installed on our SUV and called Norman's to see whether they could do it. They called back quickly with a reasonable quote and then called several days later when the part came in. We were able to drop off the car in the morning and pick it up several hours later with the hitch installed. Great service, great value, and very communicative and responsive. Support Local Businesses! Great Prices and Service from Norman's Glass & Auto Service. I cracked my windshield and they were able to order the part and scheduled me within a day. They meticulously replaced it with glass from a quality OEM glass manufacturer from Pittsburgh (PWG) for an extremely reasonable price. Compared to Safelite, they were about 30 % cheaper and used OEM glass distributors rather than Safelite own which has been reported to be inferior. Beyond this, they are truly Patriotic! Norman's was hired to cut custom glass for our master bathroom shower. The first time glass was installed, the dimensions were wrong. New glass was not delivered when promised. When it was finally installed we were woken up at 3 am to the sound of crashing glass. We thought someone was breaking into our home. We came to realize the shower glass had shattered. We contacted Norman's immediately. They said someone would be there the next day to clean the glass up and we would have new glass immediately. That didn't happen. The broken glass sat for over a week while we waited for new glass. Third times a charm? Not in this case. The new panel was not sealed properly and water leaked out from under the glass and onto our new floors. We were ultimately promised that the damages flooring from the glass breaking would be replaced and paid for. After a month they've told us they won't pay for the damages to be repaired. Salesperson lies to us, manager gave us the run around, and conveniently we were told owner was out of town and never in any of the locations. They have a C rating with the BBB. We wish we would've done more research before using them. We hope this helps you. read more

I noticed a chip in my windshield this week. I called Norman's and they were able to squeeze me in the same day, letting me know I should get the car in before a rainstorm the following day. I contacted my insurance company, who seemed to direct me to their "preferred" national vendor (who would not see me that day, unless I wanted to drive to PA), but fortunately Lisa, Norman's office manager, was able to contact my insurance for me and helped to apply the coverage to their work. I was in and out in a matter of 20 minutes or so and they saved my windshield. Highly recommend! read more

They took me in the next day after my windshield cracked. Cost was close to what was quoted and still cheaper than the mobile glass service companies you see on tv. They also have a mechanic shop which I will try out one day too. read more

Just a little disappointed in the customer service aspect of this location. Before Christmas, i went in and purchased a $100 gift certificate for my husband. He had been driving around with a small crack in his windshield. I explained the situation, and the gentleman explained that without seeing the car, he estimated that if they could repair it, it could be as low as $75; if they had to replace the windshoeld, it would be about $250. I asked specifically that if it was the low end, could we get a refund of the amount of the certificate. He said YES. So my husband makes an appointment for Jan. 17. he walks in and stood there for more than 10 minutes trying to get someone's attention that he was there -- and he had an appointment! He heard voices int he facility, but there was NO ONE at any kind of front desk. He didn't feel comfortable walking back into offices trying to get waited on. And remember -- HE HAD AN APPOINTMENT! Finally, a worker actually came out from one of the back bays and asked if he had been helped. And the work began. FINALLY. we were lucky -- they were able to repair it, and the bill came to about $80. My husband asked the heavy-set woman (who was now at the front desk) if he could get the rest back in cash. She rudely informed him NO! This was a gift certificate! My husband (who never makes comments like this) could not get over how rude she was. Okay, we get it -- the first guy made a mistake. So my husband ended up buying random crap to total the $100. remember -- I had specifically OVERBOUGHT the certificate because we were not sure how much the work would be. Just rudeness and indifference -- the work was just okay (you can still see the crack). We doubt if we will go back. Guys -- you really need to step up your game in the customer service arena. read more

Came to the house today to replace the windshield on my van. Technician was polite, friendly and competent. His truck was neat and professional. Made sure everything was right before he left. In my area there are a lot of quarries, so broken windshields happen. These guys were the most professional of all the services we've used before (at least 8 broken windshields in 25 years). I'll be the first to tell you that I don't know too much about cars. So when my sunroof started to leak and appeared to be sitting funny, I tried calling around to an auto body shop that had done work on my car before. They recommended Norman's so I gave them a call. The rep who answered the phone was polite and courteous ---she put me on the phone with the gentleman who would later take a look at my car. We exchanged names and within 20 minutes, I had driven down to the shop and he was examining my sunroof. He quickly determined that it was an issue with the sunroof part and gave me the number of the people who had installed it. He made sure I had a contact to ask for and that I had all of the information I needed to make the call quick and painless. In fact, I was able to call the installer and my sunroof was fixed before I left Norman's parking lot! I would both recommend and use Norman's again. read more

I found out the hard way that "regular" glass places don't replace back windshields on convertible tops...and after much searching in my area, neither did anyone else! By a stroke of good luck and the help of Google, I found John E. at Norman's in Trenton. He was knowledgeable, honest, and had expertise in a field that everyone else I called either didn't want to deal with, or were CLEARLY overcharging for something they didn't even know how to handle. A fair price, good work, and being treated like a valued customer rather than some "girl" who didn't know what she was talking about...while I hope that window never needs to be replaced again, I would go back to Norman's in a heartbeat if it did!
