I've purchased my Birkenstocks here and I recommended to my partner to purchase shoes here too. At the time of purchasing, the guy with the beard was super helpful, and kind. He said to come back if there was any issues so we did. In less than two months, the soles were coming off of these almost $200 shoes. My husband came in to get assistance and instead of providing any solution, that same guy that was helpful became dismissive, rude, and argumentative. Even if it wasn't warrantied, he absolutely did not need to be rude about it and basically ended the conversation by saying "bye." He should be fired for treating customers that way. Extremely disappointing. The older gentleman that works there seems kind, but it's not worth shopping here if they're only pleasant to deal when you're purchasing. Shop elsewhere. read more

Do not buy from this shoe store!! I bought a pair of shoes from them, had them 3 days and they wore on my heal. I am in a wheel chair and can't walk far without it. They refused a return because the shoes had been warn. Would not give me an in store credit or allow me to exchange them. Said they couldn't resell the shoes and that I could just donate them to Goodwill. These are $90 shoes! The men that work there are rude and uncaring! They sell good shoes, my favorites are KEEN ofc cause I have big special feet, and they will last you like 2 years VS sketchers which lasted my 280 lb butt only 3 months, If you are a heavy set and want a quality long lasting shoe then buy keens this is the only place in town you can get them, well worth the extra bit of dough. read more

trying a third time for my review of Norris Shoes..The owner is rude and overly sensitive. I say this because he flipped out and rolled his eyes at me and told me the shoe fit when in fact it was too tight. I asked for a mens boot but he said he didn't have any that would fit me. I ended up leaving and he yelled at me after I was down the street .... to never come to his shop again. Do NOT spend your money here! We tried to pay with a gift card from New Balance. $175. Their system would not accept it. We had ordered shoes and had to put $20 down. We live 2 hours away. Since they made ZERO effort to fix the problem, we tried calling NB. Closed for the weekend. We can't keep driving here. Save your money. The customer service is lousy. As a part-time resident of Grants Pass, OR I have been to Norris Shoes many times, but have only made one purchase there. I find the management to be rude and abrupt. I feel like they hover over me with a suspicious eye as if I might be thinking of stealing one of the single shoes from a pair on the display. I don't trust them. I went in today after periodically over many many years of purchases to ask if they could help me out with a brand new pair of shoes that I need to be broken in for a brand new job in two days. I was greeted with nothing less than the most horrendous service ever!! I was told that they only can service their current customers. So, desperate I offered to purchase a new pair of shoes at 150-180 and then would they be able to help. The salesperson told me no. This was first thing in the am when they opened. I counted three employees and no customers in the store! Never ever again will I go to this store. I will drive the thirty miles to Medford to go to Johnson's shoes at the mall. Sadly this used to be a fun store in downtown GP with nice people. Not now!!! If I could give a zero I would. Mike Martin is excellent. I happen to visit this store asking about prices, saw the shoelace sandals from KEEN and knew I'd have to pull my gf in to try them on. After explaining how bad her feet were and trying to find wider widths, he recommended a 1/2 size higher model. He took the time, about 15 to 20 minutes JUST talking to us about the town and his back ground, without taking away from our questions concerning the shoes. We put together a great bond about life, feet and hunting. After 6 years, I finally found a a pair of shoes for the misses and a friend and trusty, grants pass raised shoeman I can go to. They sell only top of the line products and actually have you sit down so they can be fit properly. This place Screwed me over. Order pair of Red Wing boots waited longer then they said. And went to put them on and they were defective . So I went in to show them. And they saw that they were bad. I HEARD THE SALESMEN SAY TO THE OTHER ONE ( WE ARE FUCKED IF WE IF WE HAVE TO SEND THESE BACK). They then told me they were Special order.Which I wasn't aware of and that I would have to pay a restocking fee.to get my refund back on defective boots which should not be restock but thrown away. I've worn these boots for over 10 years .they tried to tell me my foot grew and it was my fault. Which was BULLSHIT. So I call Red Wing and they took care of me like a good American Company should. What is sad is this is a business in my Hometown and at this store the Customer is not right. So dont waste your time and money There but read the Yelp reviews and you will change your mind. I recently bought a pair of boots from the store. And I had a bad experience with them they did not back up their product at all, They tell you one thing when you purchase a product from them and when it comes down to it they go back on what they say. And remind you this was from the owner of the store and I told the owner I will not be doing business with his store again.
