I went for Norsk's Year Two Extravaganza. As soon as I walked into the studio I was taken away by the beautiful atmosphere. Vintage, Rustic, Relaxed. All the things I would expect from an upscale tattoo parlor. The staff was very friendly but most importantly informative. All the questions I had were answered promptly, to the point, and correctly. This surprised me because they were EXTREMELY busy ( This was an event so alot of people showed up ) so I figured they would not have time to answer my questions. The staff member who applied my stencil helped me decide the best location for my tattoo. My artist was Beau Jones. Beau has amazing linework. Both straight and curved were executed with care and precision. The color saturation was perfect. I was shocked at the depth that this tattoo has and how vibrant the colors are. My new ink really pops! Beau was super friendly. Just the right amount of friendly chit chat ( to many artists want to talk your ear off instead of concentrating on their work ). This guy is really a master at his craft and he will be the one I go to for my sleeve work. Overall, this is THE BEST tattoo studio I have ever been to. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, professional artists, and amazing atmosphere make this place the #1 spot in Georgia for tattoos and more in my book. Wish I could give a higher rating. read more

I came into the shop on Friday (June 7) with my sister for an industrial piercing for myself and two earlobe piercing for my sister( we didn't have an appointment just a walk in). Immediately was greeted by the girl up front ( forgot her name sorry!) and she asked us what we wanted asked us if we wanted standard or an upgrade . Then had us fill in a few things , standard information than we waited for a bit . Literally by the time we entered the shop and sat in a chair was a took about 15 minutes or less not long at all . Our piercer was amber super super nice explained the process station was clean and organized. And it my piercing was done in like seconds and my sister's didn't take long either. She explained after care and then sent us off . The girl upfront as explained after care as well . I also want to mention when they say eat before coming please do so and not just eat a little bit . I ate before coming but it obviously wasn't enough because I started feeling very faint and lightheaded and was on the brink of passing out due to low blood sugar . Which the girl upfront was so nice and immediately offered me something to eat which helped a lot so there's that . But anyways nice environment friendly staff and you feel welcomed . I'm definitely going back when I get my ears pierced again . read more

Best studio I've been to. To start, the minute you walk in you're greeted by at least one person, if not the entire shop. This is a huge contrast to what I'm used to when it comes to tattoo shops, and I really appreciate the effort they put into making you feel comfortable from the jump. I've gotten two tattoos from Corey, the owner of the shop, and I'll probably be going to him for all of my future tattooing endeavors. He's very personable and tries to make sure you're as comfortable as you can be despite the fact that he's dragging a sharp needle into your skin for hours at a time. It's obvious that he's very passionate about what he does, and both tattoos I've gotten from him are by far my favorite tattoos I have on myself. It took all day, and at the end of the day I felt somewhat dizzy, and he made sure that I was all right before I left despite the fact that it was the end of the day and I'm sure he was ready to go home. He even spotted me some candy and a soda to get my blood sugar back up. Have had nothing but good experiences at Norsk Studios, and would suggest this place for anyone looking for quality tattoos and customer service. read more

Came here as walk-ins with my best friend so she could get her first tattoo and I could get my second. The woman who greeted us, Sam, was very welcoming and waaaay more than helpful to us. My friend and I were both tattooed by David, and he was incredible!!! He spent the time to make sure both tattoos were drawn perfectly, and included all of the specific elements I wanted, all while making sure it was his unique art. Mine was completely bearable pain-wise (can't say the same for my friend, hers was on her ribs!!). The lady next to us was getting tattooed by Tyler, and I couldn't help but notice how amazing his work was, as well. I also noticed that the piercing lady there, didn't catch her name, was very quick and efficient with her piercings. Not sure I can say the same about the other shops I went to for my 6 piercings. Overall, the place is clean, interesting, and amazing. Pricing was lower than I expected, and I was more than willing to pay a looot more for how awesome David did. I'm definitely coming back for more, and even my step dad wants to look into here for his cover up! (He has a pretty botched Jesus tattoo lol). read more

I had gotten an autograph of my favorite hockey player on my wrist and it needed to be tattooed on there pretty quick or my skin was going to absorb the sharpie ink. I got the autograph in North Carolina around 8:30 p.m. on a Sunday so I knew I had to get in some place on Monday after work. I contacted Norsk Studios right after they opened on Monday, February 19, 2018, and spoke with Adam and explained the situation. He told me to come on up there when I got off work and he would fit me in if he had to. Lucky for me it was not a very busy night so he was able to get to me in about an hour. Well worth the wait. He did a fantastic job. Looks just like the photo I had taken of the autograph. Although some of the autograph was fading a little he was able to tell from the picture how it should look and get it done right. He was very personable. The place was very clean and everyone I came in contact with there was very nice. I talked to him about another tattoo I want to get done and will definitely be following up and using him again. read more

We had been looking to find a shop since we moved here a couple of years ago. It is always nice to have your go to for tattoos. After our dog passed away we looked at several different studios in the area and put in a request for an appointment. We were promptly responded to, got the estimate and booked our appointments. We arrived for our scheduled sessions, and met our artists Stan. The shop was beautiful, clean, and all the staff was pleasant, helpful, and friendly! My husband and I both got memorial tattoos. Stan was super patient with me, as the leg I got the tattoo on has some nerve damage [which persisted to jump and move through the whole tattoo] Stan powered through it and helped bring my design to life, just how I envisioned it! They didn't allow 10 stars, so I'm settling for 5. Norsk Stuidos is hands down one of the best shops in town, if not the region. I got a tattoo when I was 19 that I was not proud of. Since that day I've been browsing tattoo shops, but nothing ever felt right, so I'd walk out and continue my search. I came across Corey's work online and had an appreciation for his attention to detail and that he was able to bring the emotion out of a piece. His stuff just makes you want to lean in and learn something from it. So I decided to stop in the shop and meet with him and his crew. When I dropped a literally book of ideas in front of him, he didn't miss and beat and just said, "awesome, let's get it done"...when every other shop tit-toed around saying they couldn't, or wouldn't do what I was asking for. I just finished up round 1 of a two part 1/2 sleeve wrap. I can't stop staring at my arm. I can't thank Corey enough for his stunning work that he makes seem easy and second nature. read more

My roommate luckily told me about the charity event Norsk was doing last weekend so my boyfriend and I went hoping there'd be 2 spots left for us to get tattooed. When we walked in there was only one spot left initially but due to impeccable timing and answered prayers from the tattoo gods, we both got spots right away. With the stars aligning I was also blessed with the opportunity to have my work done by Corey the shop owner (who is usually booked out 5 months in advance). Aside from being incredibly chill and easy to talk to, his work is unbelievable and without a doubt my favorite piece to date. I will hands down be going back to Norsk in the future because whether it's Corey tattooing you or any of the other artists, (everyone's work is impeccable) you'll get to hangout with cool people and walk out with a fucking life long masterpiece. read more

I got my first and only tattoo at Norsk Studios by Corey. I have gone to multiple tattoo places with friends before this one. The staff, environment, and cleanliness from the other places made me feel a little uncomfortable. So I was really nervous and didn't know what to expect when I went to Norsk. But from the moment I reached out to Corey and told him what I wanted, I was instantly calmed. His knowledge and expertise really put my mind at ease. My sketch was very hard to portray, as all of the pictures I had Googled didn't show what I wanted. But he understood me and did exactly what I asked for! I love my tattoo! On top of that, I have never seen a tattoo place so clean. You can tell they take pride in the studio and their work. And Corey and his crew are so awesome - they all have great customer service, so nice and welcoming! read more

On a recommendation from a friend, I went to Norsk Studios to get my daith pierced. I decided to get my daith pierced because I suffer from migraines. Jamie welcomed me at the front desk with a huge smile and bubbly personality. She helped me pick out my jewelry and explained the process. I decided to get a second hole pierced in my lobes while I was there. Courtney took me back to the piercing room and talked through all the steps. The studio is super clean! The piercing process was sanitary, quick, and easy. Courtney did a great job making sure I was comfortable and okay throughout the entire process. Courtney and Jamie gave great after care instructions. I felt very comfortable and well informed throughout the entire process. OK I am thoroughly impressed with my local piercing shop! After having my ear bruised and beat up I finally walked in this shop to try and find a cute little earring to replace the one that had been knocked out. Amber, piercing professional on staff, came up to help me and make sure that my piercing stayed awesome! When you pay more in tip than you do for the actual merchandise it's because they absolutely rocked! And there is no buyers' remorse! Christmas time generally really sucks because the money is already spent before you even have it in hand but this shop is amazingly priced. Everything was super super clean and the people working were nice, informative, and didn't make me feel like an annoying pest. This is where we will be going for our tattoos in February!! read more

I got a tattoo here about a month ago (my bad for taking so long to review) Norsk Studios and all of the great people who work there are amazing. I had an appointment with Corey for a full day session to get my arm done. Everyone was very kind to me from the moment I came in, very clean and good looking place, didn't feel the least bit uncomfortable. Whole time I was getting tattooed everyone was talking and cracking jokes and having a good time, which made me feel right at home. They even ordered pizza and gave me a few slices. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone at Norsk and especially Corey for the great experience I had with you and for the amazing tattoo I got from you Corey. Love Norsk! I've gone there for my past 4 tattoos and am already planning another visit, all the artists I've seen have been really nice and do awesome work. They obviously enjoy their work and show a great sense of humor. Courtney is always really pleasant and friendly and I have had work done by 3 artists so far. I got my first 2 done by Corey he was great and did a fantastic job and we very pleasant to work with. My second piece was done by Dylan and even though he was new to the shop I was once again very pleased by his work. The third was Beau and even though he didn't fancy what my mother and I got tattooed we enjoy good character in a person and he gave us quite the laugh. After visiting this establishment and realizing that they wouldn't give me a nostril piercing because of my being pregnant. I did a google review. My OPION behind this was that no where on the site did they state that they didn't recommend, nor would they pierce pregnant women. While them not working on me wasn't the issue I was merely suggesting communication via the actual site.This totally upset the owner Corey and lead to a day of harassment, via text and calling. A completely unprofessional way to handle a review. Needless to say I will not recommend patronizing them , as I will not go back either. The text that were sent were ridiculous. I had my first tattoo done this week by Adam and it looks amazing. I went to Norsk because I was told that he does great line work and he did not disappoint. I had 2 American traditional tattoos done in color and they look even better than the references did. Once we finished the tattoo he went over the after care in detail and gave me a card with the instructions he went over as well as his business card if I had questions. I'd definitely recommend Norsk for a first tattoo or if you just want some new ink and I plan on making more appointments with them in the near future. I feel like I found a needle in a haystack. This place is amazing. The upfront help was so friendly made me feel welcomed which is not the case with most shops. They kept the counters sanitized and were covid aware. It's hard to find dermal techs at all and Amber was amazing. Such light hands I barely felt her remove and replace my dermal jewelry. And rhe selection of jewelry was amazing. This place is top notch. I walked in around 5 and they welcomed me and the wait was not too long and well worth it. I WILL BE GOING BACK VERY SOON TO GET SOME PIERCING AND JEWLERY. Amber has dermals herself so she keeps great jewelry in stock all times. Found Norsk Studios online after a lengthy search for a good piercing place in my area. I am picky about where I get pierced and Norsk fit the bill. The location is super clean and they offer titanium jewelry, which is also very important to me. I looked into the actual piercers and found Amber's Instagram which featured beautiful and precise work. Once I was actually in the studio, I was met with a lovely young lady at the front desk who got me all set up with forms and jewelry. Shortly after, Amber brought me to the back and quickly and accurately pierced my septum. She was informative and straight to the point. I have been a regular here for about 3 years, and have had multiple piercings done by Amber. I've been getting piercings for about 6 years now, and Amber has been my favorite! A year or so ago, I had my nose piercing redone at a tattoo shop down the road. They messed up while piercing mine, and so I went to norsk to have it checked out and Amber had explained to me why my piercing was the way it was and then had pierced the other side perfectly! Amber and the rest of the employees make you feel comfortable and very at home. I went in today to get my naval pierced and I was so happy to see that she was going to pierce me again today.
