Having been to the Farm-To-Fork Capitol and the markets there, my expectations were low. This market far exceeded and competed with any of the markets I've visited in the Sacramento and Napa regions! Why? Because the prices of the produce are truly amazing, the array of vendors and the friendliness of everyone was spectacular, and the entire area was clean and inviting as to the set up. I met amazing people and discussed their locally sourced products. I had no idea that Arizona grew such beautiful items. Husband and I loved our fresh delicious salad made we that evening from greens and produce from Libelula Farm and others. I hated to be GF because Noble Bread has THE MOST amazing offerings of fresh baked goods! GOOD FORM FOODS (Google them!) had THE MOST AMAZING walnut butters ever! Delish and at a great price! Husband highly recommends LOVE'S JERKEY CO which has an outstanding array of Jerkey from locally sourced beef. The various beautiful fresh flower displays for sale were delightful. And... THE FOOD VENDORS WERE PLENTIFUL and all looked amazing! I highly recommend stopping by and giving K-TOWN IN AZ and BAGEL DADDIES a try as their delicious fresh made items are hard to resist! Five stars for this amazing event!!!!

There are artist booths, and plant booths, and food booths and all the dogs that want to make friends but much more walking room to allow for discussions among friends... I am locked in, the vendors I interacted with were Awesome, kind and personable. The vibe here is just 'different' than the other market. This one made me feel like "welcome". Next vist? A plant. Maybe I grab one once a month and increase my collection. So stoked!

I usually go to the Uptown farmers market but it's quite a long drive for me. I decided to try this…read moremarket since it's only a few miles from my house. There's two fruit and vegetable vendors there. Enough to make it worthwhile if you live close by. The amount of vendors is starting to really grow since I was there last. They did have some fun live music there too. Oil, bread, sweets and a few food/drink trucks. It's nice that it's so close to my house but it's a very small market. Some of the non fresh food vendors were a little too aggressive for my likes but I get it they are there to sell food. The two fresh food vendors were both nice and efficient. It is a little annoying they don't have prices on their food so I never know what anything costs. Spent $50 for the vegetable picture I'm posting.

My weekly load up on veggies, bread, seafood, farm-fresh eggs, and honey!…read more Past review said they only have crafts... wrong! That is during the Sunday market. Saturday has a nice assortment of food vendors. The confusing thing about this market was that it was once located at Alma School & Dynamite shopping area, until business owners in the strip complained of too much traffic. (Do you beleive that? What a fool for a business owner. Traffic = increased business you moron). The market then relo'd to Legacy & Thompson Peak area. I always call the phone number on the contact, to confirm location prior to my shopping adventure. Noteable vendors: The "red shed" produce The egg lady that had a goat to visit Copper State Bread. Guy has a line up prior to opening Seafood Deja-vu coffee is slow to provide service and seemed to be unaware of my presence for a bit. Having been a mobile coffee vendor, I recognize "dead weight" inside the truck causing delayed service. (Again, the faster you "turn" equals increase in revenue). It's not the Pearl Street Farmer's Market in Denver, but it is small, good vendors, and close!

Whether you're there for the food, the vibe, or to catch up with a friend, it's got something for everyone. There are tons of fun photo spots, a hat-making station, and plenty of toys and games for all ages. The food is amazing! The Blue Rooster honey butter and sourdough are absolute musts. If the sourdough looks sold out, just ask - they'll usually bring more out. The fresh pizza is great, and the coffee and lemonade pair perfectly with it. Don't sleep on the pickles either - they're so good! They also have plant starts right now - cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and more ($5). As someone who shops organic, I found everything well-priced, often about the same or even a little less than Sprouts or Whole Foods. Everything's fresh, local, and never waxy or overprocessed. The whole area is shaded and super comfortable, so it doesn't get nearly as hot as you'd expect. All in all, The Blue Rooster is a lovely spot -- welcoming, relaxed, and full of small details that make it special. Highly recommend checking it out!

They have a store with merch and can foods, a big space for kids to play and they even have toys and corn hole boards. I saw they sell pizza freshly made in a brick over and it looked delicious but I didn't see the menu or prices. Also I didn't see the eggs for sale maybe it's because they were sold out. Also I didn't know who is an employee here there was no one at the coffee stand, not the gift shop. Only employee I saw was the cashier but he was very quiet plus was busy with other customers. But nice place to visit and walk around.

July 2025…read more McClendon's...My Saturday morning addiction! If you know, you know...and if you don't know McClendon's yet, let me be the one to lovingly shove you in their direction. I've been shopping with them for years, mostly at the Uptown Farmers Market, and it's become a non-negotiable part of my weekend routine. Their fruits and veggies? On another level. I'm just telling you that once you taste their organic produce, it ruins the grocery store for you. I'm not being dramatic...okay maybe a little...but seriously, everything just tastes better. The carrots are sweeter, the citrus is brighter, and don't even get me started on the herbs. Fresh. Fragrant. Plentiful. I buy more than I need every time because I can't help myself. My fridge is so happy to be filled with all the herbs! It makes cooking seem way less like a chore and more like something wonderful that I get to do! The team is always kind, helpful, and genuinely happy to be there. You feel good shopping with people who care about what they do. Bonus? I actually spend less money here than I do at the store. Significantly less and for a much higher quality of food! It's wild. Totally worth the drive! Bottom line: McClendon's is the gold standard of Arizona farming. Your taste buds will thank you. Your wallet probably will too.

I went last week for the first time, and back again yesterday since it was so good. Most farmer's markets I've been to in Phoenix are generally lame. Mainly because there are 50% or more booths that are selling things like jewelry, knick-knacks or other things that to me belong more at a craft show than a farmer's market. This one, however, is almost all food (the only booth I noticed, other than information, that wasn't food was a table for one of the stores in the plaza). Two or three produce vendors, depending on the week, farm fresh eggs, grass-fed beef, bbq sauce, cider, granola, tamales, etc. etc. My favorite though is the dairy guys with the fresh cheese curds. You'd think you were eating a mouse the way these things squeek! Definitely fresher than the ones at Trader Joes. I am a huge fan of this farmer's market, and am sure all be back plenty of times over the fall/winter. My only minor complaint is that they advertise as Arizona's only farmer's market under the stars...since I pretty sure that the Downtown Market goes on Wednesday night and there is a farmer's market now at Norterra (sucked...see above about non food vendors), it's not even remotely true. 4.9 stars, rounded up!
