My wife and I enjoyed our visit to the "Uptown Farmers Market." The market is regarded as a major community hub for supporting Arizona's local growers and makers. It runs Saturdays (8 a.m.-1 p.m.) and Wednesdays (9 a.m.-1 p.m.), offering fresh produce, artisanal goods, fresh baked bread, and prepared foods from local food trucks. They have some great local vendors such as "Anita's Area Farms Arizona," "The Tamale Store," "Dr. Hummus," "Bagelero," and "Feather and Flame." We really enjoyed walking around and talking with the different vendors, tried some samples, and took home a few goodies. Even if you don't buy, it's perfect for families. Bring your dogs for available dog treats and support your local community businesses.

Big farmers market with lots of vendors and interesting things to see and try. Tons of vegan options too in April 2026. There were lots of people but it was spread out well and didn't feel overwhelming to me like some farmers markets can be. Didn't have trouble finding parking. Tried some vegan malasadas which are Portuguese-style fried dough balls that are popular in Hawaii at the Aloha Keke's booth. Sampled a Thai style winter squash salad at the Our Thai Vegan booth which was refreshing. I normally tend to focus on food but noticed a tea booth because of a play on words name they had: Gift of Chai with the Hebrew letters for Chai in Hebrew meaning Alive. They had a "sampling tour" of their concoctions that ended up being interesting and fun. While the health promises weren't nesecerely our thing, trying different flavors, comparing, and noticing new things definitely is and we really enjoyed it! The Ocean Chai (colored blue using Butterfly pea tea) was very interesting and different. It had some savory flavors from Rosemary and sea salt and also included cardamom and black pepper. Also tried some dairy free chocolate and pistachio sorbet from Lulu's sorbetto.

Be warned that most of these people make the food in their house with no regulations or observation from anybody in the food business. Also you should check on when they make the item because its usually stale by the time they sell it. Stick to the fresh veggies or grilled items. Raspberry juice - no taste Guava bananA cake - home kitchen Tortillas and bread - home kitchen. The charm of the market might eventually kill you.

One of the best farmers markets in the state!! They have so many family owned food options and even some from different cultures! I was so happy to see two stands with Colombian food. There is an awesome fresh produce stand and lots of vendors selling non-food items also. Everyone brings there doggos so its like a parade of dogs! During the summer months they bring the market inside to ensure it can continue even in the heat. I highly recommend not eating before you come so you can enjoy all the amazing food and drinks and support all the local vendors.

I took a friend here which I have not taken in a long time since I haven't been here in a while the weather was perfect, plenty of boots to look around, impersonally. We hung out at the food court area. We tried a bunch of yummy stuff and it was all worth it Ambience family oriented. Overall, I would come here again.

I have lived here for well over 6 years, and I just never felt the need to visit this farmer's market. I live in the East Valley, so my go to was always the GFM. I can see WHY the Uptown Farmer's Market reigns supreme! We visit bright and early Saturday morning, arriving before 9:00AM. There was already a lot of attendees, but we managed to find good parking. Everything was well-organized with Lettered aisles, and some maps to locate the vendors. I was very impressed with the hand-wash stations, which is incredibly smart and helpful! We visited a few vendors for breakfast and looked for some cute trinkets. I highly recommend for those who are on the fence! Do not miss out, because not only did we meet incredible people, the vendors really take care of their place in the Farmer's Market! Shout out to: Agua Fabulosas - incredibly agua frescas and very nice people running the stand Blue House Coffee Goods - very good coffee, and very cute stand Copper State Bread - AWESOME breakfast sandwich and croissant SWITCH Beignets - THEEE best beignets in Arizona. Great personality, good coffee recs, and my little one absolutely DEVORED these beignets. We cannot wait to come back and try more awesome and local vendors!

AFFORDABLE & GOOD! Love going here. Love supporting small owned businesses. The food quality is great; the people are lovely! If you're new to AZ, highly recommend. There is everything from produce, bread, drinks, food trucks, and even an inside area as well. Love the vibe here!

The farmers market here is one of the things that brings me the most joy. It feels so good to support locally to see what everyone in the valley's craft is. I love the energy that the farmers market has, and even in the summer they moved their tents to the shaded grassy area by the church. Every time I come here, I always try something new and I love supporting some of my favorite local businesses. I love getting local honey, fresh eggs, eating all the delicious food, and bringing my dog here for the locally made treats and they love giving her samples (; the lines can definitely get long so make sure you come earlier in the day.

Great farmers market! Love that they have an amazing indoor area too! Bathrooms are clean! Lots of vendors! Tons of parking! Great experience.

Bought from The Crystal Loft booth. Strawberry opalite, a tumbled aura stone; and a raw opalite bar.

Need a good reason to support the farmers market? It's a great way to connect with your community. We came here on a sunny Saturday morning and spent an hour or so perusing items, shopping for crystals, and talking with various business owners. If we weren't going to a coffee shop nearby for some food and coffee, we would have easily hit up some stalls for some good eats. BBQ? Empanadas? They have so many tantalizing tasty treats! Love a good farmers market and this one is one of the larger ones in the valley. Bring your reusable bags and go shopping! It's always nice supporting local!

I had a lot of fun at the Uptown Farmers Market on Wednesday. The people were nice and they had cool produce and other things for sale.

Authentic Columbian empanadas were delicious. Love my fresh cold pressed juices. Double fisted baby!! Cloudy day did not put a damper on the vendors or crowd.

I checked out the Uptown Farmers Market yesterday and was not disappointed! This market had all of my favorite things; local food, local artists, and friendly people. This is one of the largest markets I've ever been to and I was a little intimidated at first, but I did manage to see everything. I ended up with malasadas from Aloha Kekes, a super flavorful green Chile and cheddar bread from copper state bread, a garlic grating plate, and energy bars from a honey shop that I'm forgetting the name of. Definitely give this market a try!

Ask the Community - Uptown Farmers Market

Are there food trucks that come here?

Yes. They have a few really good ones there. The food trucks are located on the east side.

    Do they sell flowers here?

There are occasionally fresh flower vendors but typically I don't see them.

He gave me a sample to try the first time I came, telling me the italian pesto one was addictive, and indeed it is lol Then I also tried ice coffee from here which was okay, but tbf I'm not really a coffee connoisseur. But alas, this is a desert so take this review with that as context. This market is located in the parking of the park and takes approximately 10-12 spots on each side. The majority of the vendors were selling prepared food, merchandise and pet products with only 2-4 vegetable and produce stands. And those stands were limited to most of the basic veggies and fruits you would expect but at prices that were higher than some of their organic counterparts at your local supermarket. Translation - no real deals to be found and very few heirloom vegetables to try. I did buy some veggies and fruit from one of the larger stands at the end of the row, but other than that, there wasn't much to it. I do give them a bonus for being dog friendly. But if your dog isn't really chill, I would avoid this spot because the gallery is tight.

I usually go to the Uptown farmers market but it's quite a long drive for me. I decided to try this…read moremarket since it's only a few miles from my house. There's two fruit and vegetable vendors there. Enough to make it worthwhile if you live close by. The amount of vendors is starting to really grow since I was there last. They did have some fun live music there too. Oil, bread, sweets and a few food/drink trucks. It's nice that it's so close to my house but it's a very small market. Some of the non fresh food vendors were a little too aggressive for my likes but I get it they are there to sell food. The two fresh food vendors were both nice and efficient. It is a little annoying they don't have prices on their food so I never know what anything costs. Spent $50 for the vegetable picture I'm posting.

Saturday has a nice assortment of food vendors. The confusing thing about this market was that it was once located at Alma School & Dynamite shopping area, until business owners in the strip complained of too much traffic. (Do you beleive that? What a fool for a business owner. Traffic = increased business you moron). The market then relo'd to Legacy & Thompson Peak area. I always call the phone number on the contact, to confirm location prior to my shopping adventure. Noteable vendors: The "red shed" produce The egg lady that had a goat to visit Copper State Bread. Guy has a line up prior to opening Seafood Deja-vu coffee is slow to provide service and seemed to be unaware of my presence for a bit. Having been a mobile coffee vendor, I recognize "dead weight" inside the truck causing delayed service. (Again, the faster you "turn" equals increase in revenue). It's not the Pearl Street Farmer's Market in Denver, but it is small, good vendors, and close!
