It took 20 minutes or so to be seen by the nurse and another 10 to get the doctor. She prescribed medication for me and told me it was a cheap generic so not to worry about the cost. Great! Only that medication was NOT generic and, in fact, was no longer being made. So the one store in a 20 mile radius that had it was charging $60. Way to keep up with your meds there, doc. The second time I went in for lower back pain. I was seen by a RN rather than a doctor. No problem for me...I've known nurses that are smarter than doctors anyway. Only this nurse was lousy. She didn't even look at my back to check for swelling, bruising, spinal issues, etc. She just checked my reflexes and said that, since it wasn't a weight issue (I'm 5' and 100lbs) I should probably just do some back exercises to relieve the pain. WHAT?? First of all, LOOK at the problem. Second, you can't recommend exercises for correcting lower back pain when you don't know what's causing it...you run a high risk of making things worse. What a lousy facility. I will not be returning, or subjecting any of my family, to this place.
