I have been grateful to have this friendly, professional, knowledgeable shipping store in my hood, since I've utilized their packing and shipping services for more than a decade. They were particularly compassionate and efficient when helping to send mementoes and treasures to family members when my parents passed. These items were strange shapes and sizes and weights, and their destinations around the world. Yet, they each arrived speedily and safely. A very frustrating attempt to mail a simple package. I was told by a friend that there was a post office on the north end of Boulder, and I guessed it was branch location, like the one in Ace Hardware in Longmont. Nope. Not that anyone who works there would bother to tell me, despite there being two people working when I went in. The woman who I interacted with was rude, unhelpful, and didn't seem very familiar with the business she was working at, since she never offered any information that could have clarified for me why I wasn't getting the experience I expected. I was polite, as always in these situations, yet this woman seemed to want to start a fight with me, as she harshly asked me, "WHAT?" when I said, "First class, please" and she failed to hear me. She acted like she thought I must be saying something rude. ?????? A personal problem of hers, I guess. When she asked for my phone number, I asked why, since I have never in my life been asked for a phone number at a post office when sending a domestic package and am not remotely interested in handing out my phone number to random businesses so they can spam me and sell my personal information, which most do nowadays. She again acted personally affronted by my simple question, even when it should have been clear that I was under the impression I was at a post office. When I finally realised what the issue was, I had to ask several times whether I was in post office or not before getting an answer. I think the owner really needs to train the employees better, and help them to help confused customers. I tried to mail First Class and was only offered much more expensive Priority Mail. Why bother mailing a package through USPS at a place like this when they will be marking up the price so much? I might have, if I had received good customer service. I didn't. These guys are always helpful. If you need to ship something fast and you want convenience, pop in. If you want to ship something and you want it to cost very little, go wait in line at the post office. read more

I now drive way out of my way to drop off my packages to avoid the mean older man. I typically hping in 3-4 days a week and I'm over the treatment. Horrible customer service and appreciation. The woman is nice but he doesn't deserve my business. read more

What can you really say about a packaging store? Friendly, well stocked, nice to have in NoBo since we are doomed to not having a real post office. You can get all your basic mailing needs met here, and the owner is very nice. read more

Works for us. Easy UPS drop off. Haven't any troubles over the years. Near our point of entry for Boulder.

My experience was not so great. The older guy who likely owns the store is very discourteous and unhelpful. When I phoned them last week and asked if he would please check on the size of USPS shipping boxes, I was told that he was busy and come in and look for myself. It is their firm policy that if a customer needs a piece of Scotch tape (no matter what the size), the charge for that piece of tape is $2.00. The store is very near our home, but in the future I will drive a little farther to a different and more helpful place of business. That said, I hope they can find a way to be respectful and nicer to their customers. That's not too much to ask. read more

Zero stars if I could! I needed to send back important information to a bank out of state. The paper UPS label was pre-paid by the bank and all I needed was a UPS envelope and a way to place the pre-printed paper label on the UPS shipping envelope (most come with a plastic cover on the outside for this). This place charged me $1 for the UPS envelope (which are free everywhere else in the world) and the tape to put the paper label on the envelope. I used to value this store until today when I received the most unfriendly, unhelpful, offensive service I can imagine. After dropping off a package that was incorrectly labeled, the clerk repeated told me he didn't have the item although another clerk earlier in the morning had described it to my friend. I subsequently found the package in the back room...Will never go back as I do not trust them. read more

This Place is a RIP OFF! I had a prepaid amazon return package with the label separate, when I walked in the store, I handed the owner my return package and before I could tell him about the separate label he immediately directed me to put it into the package bin there by the door. I said " the label still needs to be attached to the package." He replied with a strong Indian accent "I can do it for you for One Dollar, or you can buy a roll of tape" I told him that I had done this before at the other UPS Store and that there was no problem.. He shook his head and said again "I can do it for you for One Dollar, or you can buy a roll of tape". I think he wanted like $5.00 for the tape and at this point, I didn't really want to leave and drive all the way down to south 30th street to the REAL UPS Store. So I said sure I will buy the tape. "you can keep it in your car" he replied." As I handed him my debit card he reached out, and while taking it from me he said.. "Oh you want pay with your debit card, I will have to charge you $9.00 more if you pay with your card". I reached again for my card, and while taking it back I said "oh, I think that is too much!" and without saying a word, I dropped the tape on the counter, and I grabbed my package turned and left the store.. In a high pitched and pressured voice, with a fast and strong accent I heard him saying "you are not to come to my store"... I thought to myself.. you don't have to worry about that! I proceeded to drive directly to the REAL UPS STORE down on 30th street where my business was welcomed with professional service, the attendant took the separate label and immediately put it into a heavy duty sleeve and enthusiastically slapped it on the box with a THANK YOU! I will never again think it inconvenient to drive out of my way for a pleasant and professional business experience. read more
