The mattresses had warmers which was a nice touch that we weren't lying down to a cold massage bed. This massage is definitely not for the feint of heart. I asked for the pressure to be hard for the massage because I'm always used to people using less pressure than I want, but this one was borderline painful but exactly what I needed to get the knots out of my neck and shoulders. The massage therapist used her arm like a rolling pin and relentlessly kept kneading. They also use a technique where they're doing a plank using your butt which was a little unique but still felt good. Everyone here was super polite and not really talkative. Pleasantly surprised that both our therapists were Mongolian, which connected the dots for me as to why the name of the business. I haven't met many Mongolian folks in my life. They do tend to use a lot of oil during their massage, so forewarning about that before you go. You'll leave with a little oil residue on your skin. Still a 10/10 massage and would definitely come back! These's lots of free street parking available.

Prior, I had done videos to try to help my condition. Working with Kristin was invaluable because she taught me how to improve my breathing, engage my core properly, and do exercises to better my condition. She asked what I was having trouble with, and pointed out how I can improve. Results do not happen quickly, but I diligently did the exercises and I do see a difference. I am going to continue doing the exercises. Kristin is friendly, a good listener, and knowledgeable. I was a little sad to "graduate" from physical therapy because it was a friendly and helpful place. In addition to physical therapists, there are also chiropractors and massage therapists at CHPT. I plan on getting a massage. And to add a little more, I felt safe with CHPT's COVID protocols. My appointments always started and ended on time. Both of these were plusses for me.

Before my massage, she asked me about my target areas. I told her my back, shoulders and feet. I told her that I may have plantar fasciitis, she said she would work on that. I had just worked out over the weekend and was so sore. She massaged my muscles and really worked on my feet. It felt amazing! Typically, when I get a foot massage, they barely rub my feet, but Thelma worked on every pressure point on my feet-it felt fantastic! She also worked on all of my target areas. She was wonderful and so nice! She even massaged me a little longer than the scheduled time (since no other clients were there yet). I truly appreciated that so much. I plan to go back this weekend and bring my boyfriend. He will love the thorough massage. Thanks, Thelma!
