I've been here several times and it's been a great experience every time. The massage therapists are exceptionally well trained. If you have any specific aches or pains, let them know. They excel at developing individualized plans to target specific concerns. For example, I've come in with issues related to running and left feeling noticeably better. What a hidden gem! I went for a massage and couldn't be happier with the service. I arrived to be greeted by the owner. The atmosphere was soothing and calming. Good service, I got my ankles relaxed but it wasn't so relaxing it was a bit painful. The customer service here is excellent! Say your pain they will fix it for you. Constant rice smell that was kind of disgusting. The massage bed was great and they have also some waiting sofas. My friend had the acupuncture session and let's just say her shoulder that used to hurt is okay but instead she gained a hand pain. She can't even turn on or turn off her phone. I hate to leave a less then 5 star review for a small business at this time, but I could have complained to the city and chose not to risk getting them fined. Last weekend I spent 20 minutes in their small lobby with a man who was unmasked. It made me really uncomfortable, so I politely asked the man if he was there for a massage and if he would mind putting on a mask. Immediately after this, the owner came out, asked me my appointment time, how I booked it and if I would reschedule. The other customer came within two feet of me (still unmasked) to put on his shoes. At that point, I felt so disrespected that I told the owner I would just get a refund. I had booked this through ClassPass, which I've done a few times before and had good experiences there. I feel like I was asked to leave bc they would make more $ from the maskless man in the lobby. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful, and clearly made a big effort to understand our needs and tailor their approach specifically to us. The Doctor on site was extremely helpful, providing advice on how to improve posture and open up my chest/shoulders. When the massage started, I gave my massage therapist specific issues and points of tension, and she spent a large portion of the massage applying strong targeted pressure and attention to those areas. She also did a great job walking on my back (my favorite), which she was able to adjust pressure well to my feedback. If you are in pain and looking for a healing massage look no further! Ben is awesome and so friendly. I can not lie it can be quite painful if your muscles or fascia are tight. It's absolutely worth any pain or discomfort you may experience. If you are looking for a gentle relaxing massage, this is probably not the place for you. I've been getting regular massages (1-2 per month) for about 10years and have never experienced tension and fascia softening like this. I highly recommend this place. This is definitely not a "spa like" experience at all. If you have allergies be warned there is a very vocal kitty who may come visit during your service. We called a week in advance to book the appointment and everything was all set to go. I called 2 days before the appointment date to CONFIRM and was reassured we're good. DAY OF APT: I get a call 1 HOUR prior to our time scheduled. A guy tells me some employees "missed work today" and they can't see us. Instead of being told they can push back the time or try to accommodate us same day/ my next available date, he instantly tells me he's just going to book me for Monday. UH NO. Then he magically had an opening later that evening after saying Id go elsewhere. Really? My experience was not pleasant, and I sure didn't get much customer service. Book at your own discretion. After a tense road trip through treacherous weather I came home with great memories and a sore body. Not only was I sore all over but I had an embarrassing, um, hemorrhoidal pain. Something told me that I just needed a massage. I found a Groupon for Mayfair Massage Acupuncture Spa and made a same-day appointment. I hobbled into the place as I could barely walk with all the pain that I was in. I don't remember my masseuse's name, but it was a middle-aged Korean gentleman. His work on me was quite rough but he informed me beforehand that what he would be doing would be more for healing purposes rather than for pleasure. I endured it in hopes of feeling better. On my way out, one of the ladies who worked there offered me some trial reiki healing, which I never had done before. She focused on my backside. I felt nothing at the time being that it was all energy-based therapy. She also told me to lay down on their Beamer bed for 10 minutes. I felt a slight warmth at the time but not much else. I came home and took a nap. When I woke up all of my ailments were magically gone! I was pretty amazed. It must've been a combination of everything they did. I wasn't expecting my, um, hemorrhoid to actually go away but it did by the next day. Who would have thunk all I needed was a little massage. I tried Mayfair massage on a Groupon. And holy cow, Rich was my masseuse and is he ever talented. I had been having sever pain in areas of my body. He talked with me to understand what was happening. I felt so much better after my full body massage that I set up a course of weekly treatments to target my troubled areas. He has been a godsend to me and I am now a loyal customer. Today was my first day ever having a massage like this. Ben helped me out. We went over a sheet of my pain points and walked about previous health issues. To be honest some of it hurt so much but I've been battling with sciatica since I was a kid. With the massage he also used a cupping method which was amazing. As in still slightly sore because this is the first time I've had this type of a massage.. I feel brand new! I'm so grateful and cannot wish to go back. Great customer service. I honestly feel like I have been healed, that was the most amazing massage I have ever gotten in my life and ive tried a lot of places, they got every single knot in my body, I was amazed because usually other places complain to me saying how they cant massage me cause Im too tight. , but that was no problem for them, they applied intense pressure which is what I need. I came in with neck pain that was keeping me up at night. I got a 90 minute massage and told the masseur three times that I was feeling pain in my neck, where how and for how long. He spent maybe ten minutes on my neck and at the end of a massage that lasted only 75 minutes, he suggested I stretch more to relieve my pain. So I will share that recommendation with you. I found this place through Groupon, and now this will be my go-to place with or without Groupon. The staff is friendly, the area is clean, and they give you a water bottle. What really made my experience was my massage therapist Rich. I'm up front with what I need done and honest with pressure / pain. Rich adjusted to my needs, friendly, was clearly knowledgeable, and overall in tune with me and my body's needs. I'm happy that I found this place and this was easily one of my top 3 (and probably best) massage experiences. I went in for my second massage and wasn't disappointed. Rich did another great deep tissue massage and went over the 60 min (no charge). I although I had no intention of trying acupuncture, I was having sinus issues so I gave it a try since the doctor was there. I was a little nervous because it was electroacupuncture. Before going in my nasal passages were quite swollen and after the therapy my passages are back to normal. I will be going back again tomorrow to pickup my herbal tea which the doctor is making for my sinus issues. read more

We showed up having appointments for two female massage therapists. They didn't tell us only one was available until I was laying on the massage table. I rode with my cousin, didn't want to walk out and make him leave too, so I figured I'd take a shot. Mistake. Big Mistake. His heel dug into my back like it was sacred turf in a do or die football contest, desperately trying to hold the line. It was painful at first, but I was willing to hope he was taking out a muscle knot. Then slowly his foot, his callused, gritty, foot slid up my back, scraping its way towards my neck like some player losing his footing, except instead of this being Sunday football it was the worst massage in history happening...on my back. Feet instead of hands, calluses instead of lotion. I kept waiting for Borat to storm in and start talking about Kazakhstan, but this was no comedy show. This was real life incompetence grating across my back. Finally, halfway into my 90 minute massage the pain and physical revulsion became too much. I stopped him and fled. Leaving my cousin behind I took an Uber home just to get away. They took my money and they'll take yours too if you let them. Don't let the middle aged man near you. He's not strong, he's not skilled, he's just got scaly, sandpaper callused feet itching to be dragged across your back and legs. My cousin had Vy and said she was great. I'm happy for him, but kind of wish the masseuse coin toss had gone the other way. You don't want to experience this kind of massage first hand.
