The mattresses had warmers which was a nice touch that we weren't lying down to a cold massage bed. This massage is definitely not for the feint of heart. I asked for the pressure to be hard for the massage because I'm always used to people using less pressure than I want, but this one was borderline painful but exactly what I needed to get the knots out of my neck and shoulders. The massage therapist used her arm like a rolling pin and relentlessly kept kneading. They also use a technique where they're doing a plank using your butt which was a little unique but still felt good. Everyone here was super polite and not really talkative. Pleasantly surprised that both our therapists were Mongolian, which connected the dots for me as to why the name of the business. I haven't met many Mongolian folks in my life. They do tend to use a lot of oil during their massage, so forewarning about that before you go. You'll leave with a little oil residue on your skin. Still a 10/10 massage and would definitely come back! These's lots of free street parking available.

That is unheard of the industry. Most are 60 minutes, with 90 being the max if you are lucky. Most others are also on a tight schedule and clock watch. Laurie does not. She schedules clients far enough apart that you get the full time and maybe even a little extra if you have a real problem area to address. Her sessions are long because she uses a variety of modalities and incorporates a lot of Thai yoga stretching into her work for your whole body with emphasis on any trouble areas you discuss or are discovered during the session. Laurie also places emphasis on the whole being. She wants to get to know her clients and sooth your mind as well as your body. I have been going for massage therapy for 35 years. I have never found anyone better. Even at fancy spas, I am so spoiled now that I always am left wanting more. I think 60 minutes is too short and most therapists lose interest before the rare 90 minute session is over. Laurie is different. She is present for the full 2hrs, which I have never found anywhere else.
