Allergy season was a nightmare because I'm allergic to cedar fever and ragweed, and I could hardly breathe. Dr. Krzeminski recommended surgery, and although I was super nervous and put it off for a year, I finally went through with it. After the surgery, I can breathe tremendously better--just like he said I would. The nurses were fantastic and calmed me down when I was anxious. Plus, the lady at the front desk (I wish I remembered her name) was so helpful when I forgot my CareCredit card. She looked up my account so I didn't have to run back home. Overall, the entire staff at Lakeshore ENT has been amazing. My quality of life is so much better now, especially during allergy season. I highly recommend Dr. Krzeminski and the whole team. They are abusing one of their USMD Urology consultants by scheduling me (a new patient, not sick) at 0930 on the Tuesday after the Memorial Day weekend. I'm a retired Family Practitioner who ran lots of offices and can't help watching how offices operate. When they hadn't called me by 10:30 (with a full bladder for over an hour), and seeing many (old male) patients come in with distress I asked them to reschedule me. The next available appointment was the day after the July 4th holiday! So this is not an isolated case. I told them no thanks.

I would agree with other reviewers that Dr. Goldberg's office is old and outdated compared to other…read moredoctor offices. However, since that has no impact on medical competence or quality of care, it never bothered me. I grew up poor, so office decor isn't really something I care about anyway. If you end up going to UT Southwestern in Dallas for advanced diagnostics or procedures the offices there are very nice if that kind of thing matters to you. His staff has always been great, and Dr. Goldberg has been very responsive via the online mychart system, including proactively sending messages following tests. Scheduling, including schedule changes have been easy, and I've never waited that long after arriving for an appointment. Does he come off as grumpy? Yea, that's fair. But he does smile and get excited when I've had good results and outcomes. My goal has been to see if I can get him to smile during a visit :).
