The trip was brief - Thursday evening to Sunday, but filled with family, fun, and some exploring. On Saturday morning, while our son did homework in the room, while my wonderful wife was exercising, our daughter and I explored North Conway, NH. We visited Poppy & Vale, which is filled with many things for the home. They have candles and many other items to provide scents for your home. They have many fancy ways to make food... Moroccan cooking tangines, knives, pitchers, glasses, syrups. Wine items including a frog-shaped wine foil remover (removes the wine outside of the cork). Other items - t-shirts, stationery, soaps and more. And to our daughter's thrill... temporary tattoos, in the shapes o butterflies and more. Great store. ----- ----- -----

I was in the store for a second time visit to potentially buy a big piece. As I was walking around…read morelooking at an item trying to decide on my decision (because it was a big purchase), the store clerk came to me and said you have 5 few minutes to decide and pay as I have to leave. I said "is there a problem?" He said "no I have to go pick up my dog ", but in a very rude abupt manner - his aggressive behavior made me feel so uncomfortable and unwelcoming , I didn't want to buy anything at that point. The store hours on a Sunday are 10am to 6pm. The owner should consider his help is not helping his revenue and should want someone whom cares more about their customers than there individual personal needs. or how about just be nice to the customer and say something like "I am so sorry I have to close for a short time is there something I can help you decide on" rather than approaching me with such an aggressive manner and like "make it quick and get out. Think about the help you hire who cares more for themselves than your business. I will never return to this store.

We saw tons of Christmas ornaments, Christmas lights, nutcrackers, snow globes, nativities, stockings, stocking stuffers, headbands, and much more to Christmas to purchase. The prices were a bit much if I am being honest, but it's a tourist town. It's next door to tricks and treats, and they must collaborate because its menu was posted at the loft. They have a large selection of…read morebeautifully crafted Native American jewelry, with lots of stunning turquoise, lapis lazuli, opal, and onyx. I've purchased many pieces here, including earrings, pendants, cuffs, and my favorite -- a customized ring. (The display ring was far too large for me, so they placed a special request with the artist, who made one in my size. I had to wait awhile for it, but it was worth the wait!) The staff is knowledgeable about the artists and the craft of making these special pieces. I'm glad I found out about this little gem of a shop years ago, when I asked someone where she bought a gorgeous turquoise necklace she was wearing. Go check it out!
