Do NOT waste your money. The Christmas villages are insanely expensive for something that probably costs $2 to make. We paid over $150 for a Christmas village, only for it to come made of cardboard and plastic straws. You read that right. PLASTIC STRAWS. Also, company claims to be small, family owned, and then products come poorly made from china. Doesn't make too much sense. Do not buy. read more

We go from Massachusetts to Christmas Loft every year what a wonderful place to visit. It even contains animated Christmas village which you walk through. Even has a covered bridge to cross. Also has all kinds of Christmas decorations you want. Great prices. Great staff. A must see!!!! read more

Oh wow! This is my kind of Christmas shopping. Everything you want, need, or think you need is here. Beautiful ornaments, Santa's, snow globes, stockings, nutcrackers you name it... if you love it or collect it, it's here! Even Santa himself was here with Mrs Claus ready to take pictures. The entire store tells a magical story from the time you walk in until you leave walking over Jackson Covered Bridge replica. Animation throughout. I was here yesterday and I usually try to come here once a year to buy wonderful Christmas keepsakes. As always, what a wonderful, kind hearted compassionate staff who is willing to help with anything and answers all questions. This is still always a wonderful experience for me and I love all the different selections of ornaments and light displays they have. Their Christmas village is always very nice to walk through and it always has a very warm cozy. Feeling anytime you shop here. In my opinion, this Christmas store is better than any Christmas store. You would find in any of the Disney parks! That's how much I love it here and treasure it! They also have a cute selection of Disney items as well! This is such a beautiful store! It feels like you are walking through a winter wonderland. There are so many unique pieces here.

I really love this place especially because it's like a little enchanted village when you walk in. You get to go through like a little village and walk around and see all the displays then you go right into the ornaments there's so many to pick from like ones I've never seen before like ramen noodles. It is a very cute place and they even have these like 3D glasses that when you look at Christmas lights there's something else. We weren't sure if we were going to get to come to the Christmas Loft or not on our trip as we were coming from Acadia National Park area. It was raining that day so we ended up leaving the park earlier than planned and made it to the North Conway area which is where we were staying for the night and visited the store! So glad we did make it. It is such a cute store and has a nice warm welcome with the singing animals! It was fun to walk around and see all of the Christmas decorations. Ended up getting some ornaments and snow village - all which were reasonably priced! My only complaints - they really didn't have many local ornaments, more just generic Christmas ornaments. I like to collect ornaments from each place we visit, and this was our only chance to get a New Hampshire ornament. Also, I'm going to assume it will be a hit or miss depending on who is working, but the handwriting of the personalized ornaments was not that great. I was fine buying the ornament I got, but if you are particular in getting an artsy or nice looking penmanship, you may not get it. I recommend stopping here if you are in the area. I was impressed with the amount of Christmas items in the store..beautifull stuff and almost like you are going into a Christmas museum because of the way everything was displayed. Prices are not cheap but if you really want some of these hard to find items you will have to open up the wallet and get that money ready. Lady behind the counter was not very social and seemed to be bothered if you ask any questions about anything in regards to items in the store. Hence, one star was removed from my initial 5 star thoughts. Be nice to the customers. Plenty of parking outside. read more

IT'S A WINTER WONDERLAND! You really need to take a look inside as looks from the outside really are deceiving! The store is dimly lit (main lighting is provided by the decorative displays). It felt as if we had entered a grotto - and almost everything on display was for sale - Life size santas, lights, all sorts of baubles, model villages, trees...everything you could possibly want for bringing that Christmassy feel home. One of my kids found the dark lighting and "ho, ho, ho'ing" a bit spooky, but got over it by the time we left. The staff were helpful and polite - we even received some small gifts on leaving. You know when you stop somewhere out of curiosity and have no expectations yet the place surprises you nonetheless well here you are at the Christmas Loft. You walk in and are greeted by a animatronic or at least Audimatronic cow. OK, I just got a SNL Stephan vibe writing this review. The BEST club in town is Christmas Loft, where you are met at door by a talking cow! But I digress, so the store leads you through multiple rooms that sort of encircle a small central area which looks like a small Christmas village I guess. The store sells a wide selection of ornaments and decorations and well all things Christmas which is what you would expect at the "Christmas Loft". I guess it kind of thrusts you into the Christmas spirt and spits you out at a cash register where you wonder "why did I buy this glass Cher ornament"? Anyways, a unique store and kind of a surprising experience if you don't know what you are waling into. read more

I've been coming to this store for almost 10 years now and I like how it's hardly changed. They always have new exciting stuff but the overall feel of the store has stayed the same. This store is more of an experience then just shopping. There are so many different rooms all unique. It's so big that I get lost in there LOL.They have just about any kind or ornament you could imagine, great thoughtful gifts for anyone or yourself. The prices aren't bad,some stuff is crazy expensive,but it is all good quality, there's nothing cheapy here. Would have been 5 stars for me but, the workers all seem miserable..no greeting at all, when they see you they say nothing and they watch you like a hawk to the point you feel awkward. I *always* come here whenever I'm in North Conway. It's such a cool store...every time I'm in the "Main Street" area in the center of the store I always imagine riding an Omnimover like you find at the Haunted Mansion at Disney World. They have a lot of cool ornaments and Christmas displays, and a fun Halloween room as well (clap your hands!), so make sure you stop by when you're in the area. It definitely has a creepy vibe to it...I don't know how to describe it, but the atmosphere is interesting. However...does anyone ever buy anything? This is a must see with the kids! Such a cute place. It's like Disney's "It's a small world" But for Christmas. Motion activated characters right at the front door and through out the enormous store. Every conceivable ornament and Christmas item. The outside of the building really doesn't do this place justice, so make sure you walk in. read more
