I fried my recirculating pump on my water heater when I drained the water for the annual recommendation to do so. I called N. County Water Heater Services, and they called back within the hour. Plamen asked for some pics so he could quote the replacement cost. (Excellent price, too. I had other quotes). He showed up later that morning, and was able to install a better pump for me. This is my 3rd encounter with Plamen. He replaced my water heater many years ago at my condo and that water heater is still in place. Last year, I contacted Plamen again for his advice for our house water heater. We have a new build but our neighbors mentioned that they had to replace their water heater due to a burst. I was texting back and forth with Plamen and he was honest about when to replace our water heater. He mentioned that if there are no leaks then to purchase an alarm for now. So that's what we did. Fast forward a year later, our water heater wasn't producing warm water. Since our water heater is 9 years old and close to the 10 year mark, we decided to replace the entire unit vs fixing one component. Our 10 (or so) year old hot water heater decided to finally start leaking. I called Plamen first based on his reviews here on Yelp! (fully expecting an afternoon of calling around looking for a price that made sense) - he answered immediately and was available to replace our water heater 5pm that day! By far the best company I've ever hired to install a new water heater. The 6-Star experience started with Christina in the office. She helped me to correctly shut down my old water heater that started leaking. Next she have me the model # of the 75-Gallon Bradford White water heater they proposed to install. She explained why it was a better option than some of the other popular brands. Some brands have to send out their parts and you can go days without a water heater, but with Bradford White the parts are carried in local stores/supply houses. She gave me a quote over the phone (several of the other companies I called refused to do this as they wanted to come out to my house and then give me a bid). The owner and his son (Plamen and Chris) arrived right on time. They immediately went to work. Plamen works fast and with precision. Chris has a great attitude and really helps his dad work at a fast pace. Plamen found several mistakes that were made by the plumber who installed my last water heater and he fixed those with no extra charge. Plamen completed replaced all piping of every type and installed new shut off valves. The entire job took about 2-hours and it was done with precision and very high quality. At the end of the work, Plamen explained every part of the water heater and gave me suggestions on actions to take when on vacation, each year and each 3-4 yrs.
