Simply put, 5 out of 5! I am very pleased with the service Jessie and his team provided. Got home on Saturday evening to find the kitchen sink overflowing. As you know, it is hard to find a plumber on a Saturday evening who would be willing to come out on a short notice, in the pouring rain and have the best attitude ever. This has probably been the worst estimate experience that I've ever had, and without a doubt the least professional experience to date. I'd give Shane "Their manager" zero stars if I could, but even that might be a little too generous. The estimate that I received was solely based on a competitor's work description, and to date has not even bothered to come on site to perform a proper estimate. To make matters worse, Shane started acting like a child when he couldn't match or beat the original competitor's quote. Demanding to see a non redacted quote (the only thing that I didn't provide was the company name). I might be a bit idealistic, but shouldn't your estimate actually be based on the work + materials needed to get the project done? Why would you need to see the company name on the estimate, when you have an itemized list and total cost? My advice would be to skip the headache and look elsewhere. *** Updated In response to the misleading reply to my initial review *** Let's just let the screenshots of our conversation speak for themselves (attached) Facts: - Enough description of the work needed was provided for a HVAC professional to estimate the work (I have received over 5 quotes with the same information provided) - Model # of the AC unit was provided - Multiple requests were made for an on-site visit to perform a proper quote and finalize the scope of work and price - No price match could be performed since the difference between unit retail costs is greater than a few hundred dollars, but no price match was requested either. - Zero attempts were made to come on-site to perform a proper estimate based on the worker needed to complete the project You have every right to deny service to anyone for any reason, and I'm not upset about AHPAC not earning my business. However, remember that the heat wave is already fading, and how you treat potential customers have both positive and negative consequences. Winter is coming!!! Our AC stopped working during a heat wave recently. After doing some research on the internet, I called an made an appointment. Nick came on time and exactly during the timeframe set. In November 2017 I had a particularly poorly-timed main line sewer blockage (as opposed to a perfectly timed blockage? ) and my research lead me to call American Plumbing HVAC. They sent David Perulta to the rescue, and rescue us he did! Not only did he clear the blockage but while we were testing (you know, running *A LOT* of water) he was able to diagnose BY EAR that we might have another problem. He slapped on his handy dandy pressure gauge and informed us that our water pressure regulator needed replacing and that it was the source of the horrific loud humming pipes that had developed about a year after we moved in! Plus our water pressure was rather significantly reduced. It took a few months, during which the humming got even *worse* , but I was finally able to have the time necessary to book an appointment to have American Plumbing HVAC come back out and fix the issues that had been vexing us for the last couple of years. Fast forward to today...! David Aguilar arrived on the scene, I gave him some background, and he was able to assess that we needed a bit more than just the pressure regulator to get us right. He set to work and now we are GOLDEN! No more low pressure and, most importantly, NO MORE OBNOXIOUS HUMMING! Thank you so very much to American Plumbing HVAC and both David's for righting the wrongs in our home and bringing us the peaceful silence of modern American Plumbing (pun entirely intended!) I already have a load of laundry going and I'll be in the shower (at full pressure for the first time ever!) moments after I post this review! I have nothing but great things to say about this company . From the top down, very professional. I had a pipe leak in a wall in my kitchen. Second leak we had in less than 3 years. With having our kitchen recently rebuilt I was not wanting to tear it apart again to have a minor leak repaired. At first I had another company come out to access the damage, they wanted to start cutting into our cabinets and backsplash to determine the extend and location of the leak. They said it had to be done. I wanted a 2nd opinion. I called APHAC and talked to the owner Jessie. Because of my concerns, he was kind enough to meet me at my house and inspect the leak area and determine the extent and area of the leak. I had a mixed experience with American plumbing. My rental condo had a small leak at an outside hose bib. For some reason, the unit did not have its own shut off so the water to the entire complex had to be shut off. I made this abundantly clear to the girl on the phone. On the day of my appointment, I was required to be at the unit and assumed they were there during the appointment time. But I got a call from the plumber 40 minutes past the appointment window telling me his previous job had taken longer than expected and he was just then going to my unit. I explained that the water was due to be turned back on in 15 minutes. He said he would still go to the unit to diagnose the problem. The property management company was really upset that the water would have to be shut off for 200+ units on a second day. The plumber said he would call the office and have someone call me to set up another appointment. But nobody called. So I called the next morning and explained the problem of the wager having to be shut off again to the whole community. The girl told me she had left me a voice mail over an hour before the scheduled appointment time. I was with my phone all day and didn't get a call. So then I talked to the owner and the girl had told him she left two voice mails! I looked at my cell account and there were no calls at all that morning. I told the owner and sent him my bill so he could see that the girl had lied. In the end they fixed the leak. But they couldn't get the ground strap off the old pipe. So they shoved the old pip with the ground strap behind the stucco and left it. They called me and told me to fix it. Then they left the drywall mess on the floor. I know they don't fix the drywall but they should clean up after themselves, right? The good - the plumber was apologetic and friendly. The owner went to the second appointment with the plumber to make sure there would be no problems causing the water to have to be shut off a third time. The bad - they lied about calling me, they missed an appointment causing 200+ people to be without water on two days instead of one, they couldn't fix the ground strap, they didn't clean up the drywall. I would not use this company again. Also, I have another plumber going out to fix the ground strap. This company said they would never leave the pipes the way American Plumbing did. read more

First I was told it would be $180. to tell me what was wrong which the tech had to research and did not find anything he could fix only referred us to a flood service company because the leak/water damaged was undetermined. Then after seeing the charge should be min 139.00 for telling us what may be wrong and calling the company who verified it was free only to come to the door. The" free" (not free) estimate is very strange to me. Please contact me if I got something wrong. I will correct myself. When I asked for an itemized bill he said that they "don't do that", then explained that the $500.00 I paid was really cheap, it should have been over $1000.00. I called the company I've used for years and someone came out that night, but couldn't do anything until the next day. When someone did show up he totally tried to rip me off because I live in a nice area. There have been a few times I've had to call a plumbing/HVAC company whether it be a slab leak or a water heater bursting and American Plumbing has responded to every call and shown up within an hour or two. They're one of those companies you think you'll never need until something happens. When that something happens they have responded immediately without the "I'm busy and can come to you in a few days" response. They said they could be at the house in 30-45 minutes (every time!).
