HUGE! and no restrooms and no discernible ac. fans all over but didnt really cool off! so LOTS to look at while needing a potty and being hot! i collect lots of things, so was looking forward to going here. hubbie likes horror and entire upstairs is dedicated to it. which did have a large selection of memorabilia. antique-wise, lots of glass, figurines, asian, new merchandise and new made to look vintage jewelry. light on pottery except repro hull & roseville. you can always tell when an auction house has received some. you find it unmarked as such in multiple vendor booths priced a little low to make you think you are getting a deal - you arent. i ended up with a few things, but was expecting to find more that interested me. read more

First-time shopper here. The mall itself is charming, but unfortunately the employee working the register was shockingly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional from the moment I interacted with him. I found a painting in one of the front booths that was unpriced. I completely understand that stores may not provide pricing for unmarked items, and that was not the issue. The problem was the way I was treated when I politely asked about it. When I asked if I could leave my contact information for the booth owner to reach out regarding the piece, he immediately shut me down and bluntly told me he would probably "just lose" my card and that it "wasn't worth it." The response came across as incredibly dismissive and unnecessarily hostile. Trying to find another solution, I then asked if I could simply call the store in a few weeks when the booth owner returned. Again, I was met with a rude response and told they would not take my call and that I would need to drive back from Oklahoma just to discuss the painting in person. This was my very first interaction with this employee, and there was absolutely no reason for the attitude or lack of basic courtesy. I was genuinely taken aback by how unpleasant and unhelpful he was to someone actively trying to make a purchase. The interaction left such a bad impression that I chose to leave the store entirely. It's unfortunate because the mall itself has several lovely booths and a lot of charm, but customer service like this reflects poorly on the entire business. Based on this experience, I won't be returning anytime soon. If I were a booth owner here, I would seriously question whether I'd want my business associated with this kind of customer experience. read more

This place is definitely a cool spot, no doubt about it. The only downside for us is the pricing, it kind of prices us out of most of the things we'd actually want to buy. There's a ton of vendor booths and a great selection overall. It was hot inside, but not unbearable. One question though... why does the manager behind the counter always look so angry? Every time I was nearby, he seemed to be giving someone attitude about something. Now, the real highlight is upstairs. It's packed with vintage and modern spooky/halloween/horror posters, toys, memorabilia, and all sorts of amazing decor. There's also a ton of rare Japanese items, VHS tapes, and more. The vibe up there is fantastic, and the guy who runs that space is super friendly and helpful. Honestly, it's worth the trip to this place just to check out this one vendor and his incredible collection. Definitely a must-see if you're into horror and collectibles! read more

I see a lot of reviews talking about not allowing small children in, and when I came I did in fact see a sign stating "no strollers" and "no children under 10". Not sure if that's old or if it depends on the mood of the staff, but there were deeeefinitely strollers about when I went in. Now on to MY concerns regarding this spot. There ARE some very interesting booths, and some actual antique gems that if I had the cash for I would be jumping up and down over....But, when nearly EVERY booth is 20/30/50% off and you still walk out with nothing? It's because the sellers are way way too over-priced. I actually made a game of seeing how many pieces of mass produced vintage pieces I have and saw here that were double or triple what I paid...and it wasn't pretty. If you're looking for statement pieces to display in your home and are will to drop $150 min? Then I would suggest taking a swing at this joint. If you're a beginner or casual collector? You're going to walk out with the cheap junk you CAN manage to find or nothing at all. read more

A great shopping experience. When I want to walk, but the weather is unsightly I head to North Dallas Antique Mall. When I need a unique gift for a person that is difficult to shop for I explore North Texas Antique Mall. When I want to add to my milk glass collection I visit North Texas Antique Mall. There are lots of booths with vendors who keep their stock updated and applicable for each holiday. For example, today as I was there I saw lots of spring and Easter decorations available at responsible prices. In light of full disclosure, as of today there were a few booths empty (which I guess means if you are looking to open a booth there are some available here)! Just like every antique mall there are some vendors that seem to price too high causing little momentum at their booth. But then there are others that offer periodic sales and consistent fair pricing. Three things I particularly like about this mall. 1: The dedication on the part of the vendors to updating and changing their items. 2: The very friendly and helpful staff. 3: You can touch and pick up items. Some antique malls lock everything down and then you have to get keys to see items. Not so at this Antique Mall. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I carried my baby in a sling in the store - the owner followed me out to my car and took a photo. I asked him why he took a photo of my car and he said he said me and my baby weren't welcome in his store. This is age discrimination. Do not support this horrible man with your $. This was not my favorite Antique Mall at all. It was not a horrible but it was far from appealing to me. It seems a little dated and unkept and rather than a vital business it seems like how to use just to keep a big space in the mall having a little traffic. The place is all sprawled out in kind of an awkward way and there's no cooks and crannies leading you into other areas downstairs upstairs and on the main level. The one thing I noticed while here is that all of the vendors are having sales which always kind of leads me to believe that they are struggling a little bit. That is sad to me because I love the Antique Mall concept and it is a fun place to go and see vintage and antique items from years past. I hope this place makes it long term and that this is just a bit of a face for them. read more

No children under 12 is absurd. While many businesses are struggling during this pandemic you are making it even harder for your and your vendors. I have antiqued all across the US and have never come across a store that did not allow children. Nor have I ever seen children being disruptive in one that would warrant such a stupid rule. read more

We made the drive from North Fort Worth and didn't know until we got there they don't allow kids under 10. I understand no kids without supervision. They don't allow anyone under the age of 14!!!!! Then I was just staring at the employee and he attempted to speak to me in Spanish. I am Mexican but I don't speak any Spanish! Racial profiling and no kids come on! I've been to everything antique store in most of north Texas and all of them allow kids! It's ridiculous! Do not recommend! My experience over a few years is the items are usually well displayed and in fact are vintage and antiques, not a bunch of horrible knockoffs ... the individual vendors I found to be helpful, knowledgeable and kind. The owner... another thing altogether. I purchased things over a couple years and decided to open a booth myself, eventually three booths in fact. To say the owner has no personality would be unfair, but to say an unattractive, unpredictable and unkind personality I believe accurate. In very short order it became apparent he ruled through intimidation and foul, mean spirited ways. On many occasions I heard the way he treated others, employed or vendors. I also realized very quickly that unless I was attracting business directly through social postings, etc. very little would get sold. Month after month sales were only as good as those I created directly in large part. Between the lack of advertising, the general unhappy mood of those working in the hostile environment and general poor management choices the biggest sale had in many of the months was the rent I paid to the owner of the space. When I finally had enough and told the owner I was moving out, I followed up with an email a couple days later only to get a reply I'd missed my window of 30 days notice (by a day or so) and I would be forced to pay another month unnecessarily. When I did move out, I swept and tidied up and was instructed by the on staff managers/employees that the few 2x4's still in the booth would be disposed of by someone, no big deal. It was already late in the day and everyone was ready to go home. I also mentioned they were welcome to use the same pieces themselves for their booth. When I asked for my deposit the owner said the hundreds of dollars were spent cleaning the rest of my booth out!! It was clear to me after calling and writing him repeatedly to no response that he is just not a decent man and eventually washed my hands of it. I haven't been back since .. it's been a couple years. Shame but true, one bad apple does spoil a whole bunch. read more

I finally found my new antique home. This place is amazing. It's like all the square footage of an ikea (okay maybe not that big) which means all of the picking a girl can dream of. All of the expensive stuff is up front so make sure you go upstairs, downstairs, and to the back. I love the mix in here. Some items are very expensive and high end while others are, well not. It's a good blend and more realistic in pricing and value than some of the stores in design district and downtown (I mean I know the location and all but still . . . Charging a thousand dollars for a broken record player is asking too damn much). I was expecting rude pretentious know it all staffers when I went in but I was so wrong. A big mix of merchandise. Clean booths, room to walk around, different levels of booths to look through. Well air conditioning. The front room is all very gaudy and expensive pieces, but past the checkout it becomes more vintage kitsch mixed with Pyrex booths and baseball cards. There some 90s memorabilia and some Disney which doesn't scream antique to me but there's enough 60s blow molds and interesting pieces to make me want to stop by again. I felt the booths were pretty picked over but with most having 50% off sales, it makes sense why. I'll probably stop by in a few weeks to see if the booths are refreshed. Either way, it's a nice place to stop by. I didn't have any issues with staff. They held my item up front for me and didn't glare me down while I slowly looked at cases. I think it's a case of: if you're a nice person, they'll be nice to you. I did find a boy caroler figurine to match the girl caroler in my collection so I left with a treasure! read more

All vendors should quit paying the monthly rent here. They do not allow younger families with disposable income, they cater to the older crowd who live on fixed incomes. The owner does not care because they make money from the booth rentals and not sales. No children under 12 allowed and no strollers or baby carriers. This place is one of those that fall into the "deceptively large" category. It's tucked away in a little strip mall off Marsh and Forest Ln, and it's a gem! The people at the front of the store are very helpful, and will do what they can to help you find what you are looking for. The mall is nicely organized...booths are clearly separated, which makes looking at merchandise very easy. They have a large variety of goods to suit different vintage tastes. This place also boasts a large mid-century modern selection downstairs, so be sure to check it out! Give yourself a couple of hours to go through this place. I only wish they had a tea room too! read more

SUPER FUN PLACE! I seriously kept catching myself smiling while perusing their aisles! This place brought back such memories of my childhood. Things that, no doubt, would have brought back memories of elderly customers, as well. Like someone else had mentioned, they had things that we were not allowed to even THINK of touching as a child. "Hands off, Anj!" Hey, I am a grown adult now, so I can pick up this ugly ceramic dog if I want to! Old, old stuff, some surely that will be worth a mint in the future. I found myself holding my hands behind my back so I wouldn't break anything. Funny how things stick in your mind after being scolded as a child, huh?! The staff was friendly and reminded me that we were in Texas, with their generosity and strong southern drawl. Wish I could give a negative star. As a single parent I tend to bring my children along with me to places. Walked in and was greeted very rudely, apparently you are not allowed to be in the store with children under ten. Not sure if this a common thing in Texas but the gentleman was pretty aggressive and rude, stating that no children under ten and when asked why he said that's the rules so get "them"out of here. The guy was really glaring at my kids. Would not recommend going to this place even if I was going by myself. I did get the feeling the guy didn't like us the moment we walked in, I tend to get a lot stares due to having biracial children, and he gave off that look like they didn't belong there and it had nothing to die with their age. This place is terrible. There are some antiques here, but lots of junky replicas. The one thing I found to buy--was not priced so they had to call the owner for the price. Turns out she wasn't ready to assign the price. They told me to "check back" which I will not be doing. We've found better selection, better prices and friendlier people in small towns across Texas. Pretty average as far as Antique Malls go. Nothing special. A lot of old junk. Some cool items.

Not much in the way of true antiques and most of what IS there is quite overpriced. No one acknowledges you when you enter/browse- I've visited several times, same treatment every time. Actually the two owners/managers(?) glare at you from behind their plexiglass checkout enclosure (and no that isn't a covid slam- I'm immunocompromised and have no issue with it being there, mandatory masking, etc.). Another review said if you're nice to them, they'll be nice back (or something to that effect). This many reviews regarding their curt, rude, unprofessional manner doesn't mean it's an anomaly, it's the norm. No treasure I could find there would be worth dealing with these testy people. I literally got my AMEX card thrown back through the plexiglass when I didn't realize they don't accept that form of payment- how dare I?!?! I feel most sorry for the vendors having been one myself at a different mall. What a disservice is being done to them. Let your lease run out and head for the hills, booth folks- there are better options out there (what could be worse honestly?!). Good luck- you need it! read more

Cute knicknacks. Unfortunately, lots of racist ones as well. I have been excited to check out a new spot for antiques and collectibles and so wanted to make this my new to-go shop when I arrived and saw the neat things there, but won't be going back to a place that allows vendors to sell things like figures of POC in cages, blackface caricatures, and mammy figures. It's shocking to see that in 2018 this is even something to have to consider when shopping at such a popular place, but I guess I should've looked better at past reviews. Disappointed. read more
