The mineral pools are natural and range in temperature, so you can move around and find your perfect spot. The water is rich in minerals and feels amazing, especially after a long day of exploring. What really stood out was how intentional the whole experience is. They limit the number of guests and require reservations, so it never feels crowded or chaotic--just calm, quiet, and honestly kind of magical. We also loved that you can turn it into more than just a quick visit. Between the camping, yurts, and cabins, it's easy to stay overnight and fully unplug in nature. Overall, Maple Grove feels like a hidden wellness retreat rather than just a hot spring. We had booked our site through the official website, fully under the impression that we were staying at a first-come, first-served site. Our first night went smoothly. However, things took an unexpected turn on the second day when we returned from the lake and were kindly informed by another group that they had reserved the same site. We were confused but respectful, and immediately began packing up to avoid any conflict. When the rest of our group arrived, we decided to clarify the situation with the camp host--a decision we quickly came to regret. Rather than offering an explanation or any semblance of professionalism, the host immediately told us, "Pack up or I'm calling the cops." This was said without listening to our concerns and while we were already in the process of packing. Moments later, he returned to our site and began yelling at us, escalating an already tense situation. We were stunned. Not only were we not given the basic courtesy of a conversation, but the host also made several false accusations--including that we hadn't paid for our second night, which was completely untrue. We tried to resolve the issue by offering the payment again in person, which he refused. In the end, we had no choice but to leave the money behind and vacate in a rush--so quickly, in fact, that our gear was packed haphazardly, and we fear some of our belongings may now be damaged. This experience left us not only disappointed but honestly hurt. We were treated with hostility, not as paying guests or even as fellow human beings seeking clarity in a confusing situation. Camping should be about community, nature, and peace--not intimidation and aggression. Due to the camp host's behavior and the complete lack of professionalism, we cannot recommend Paris Springs Campground to others. We hope future guests are treated with more respect and dignity than we were.

The upsides: This campground is surrounded by beautiful trees and greenery. There is fresh drinking water and lots of shade in the campsites. Each campsite has a fire pit and a large picnic table. The campground is next to a creek and is a short 300-yard hike from Paris Springs, a cool little spot to see. It's also about a 30 minute drive to Bear Lake's north shore. The downsides: Mosquitoes are present throughout the entire day. Bring lots of bug spray! The road to the campground is a 4-mile long dirt road which may get pretty rough in wet weather. Also, the bathrooms have pit toilets and do not have sinks or showers. We really enjoyed our stay here and would be glad to camp here again if we're in the area. I would recommend reserving your campsite online ahead of time to make sure you get a spot.

Once you arrive, you're greeted by a peaceful alpine lake surrounded by towering peaks, evergreen forests, and fresh mountain air. We especially enjoyed walking along the shoreline and taking in the stunning scenery. If you visit during the summer, the surrounding meadows are filled with colorful wildflowers that make the landscape even more spectacular. The area is also a fantastic gateway into the Mount Naomi Wilderness, with several hiking trails nearby for anyone looking to explore even more of Utah's high country. Despite being a popular destination, it still feels peaceful and offers plenty of opportunities to slow down and enjoy nature. Whether you're planning a family camping trip, a weekend getaway, or just a scenic day drive, Tony Grove Lake is a destination you won't regret visiting. Some sites had barely enough room to park a car. Many of the campsites have a long walk to the restroom along narrow trails and crossing a creek (not fun if you need to visit at nighttime!) My campsite was on Loop B which included driving down a steep, washed-out road (good thing my car doesn't ride low) and through a flooded part of road.

It's mostly shaded and almost every campground is by a river, which drowns out most of the noise from the street nearby. You can easily float the river here, play around with water guns, or hang at your campground and read a book. It's incredibly peaceful. The camp hosts are great - never had an issue with them. If they're not outside when you come in, just head to your site, they'll come to you eventually. They only do cash, so be prepared with that. There's lots of trees and you can easily sleep in a hammock (or hammocks) here. It's easy to find and usually the last one to fill up as it's the last campground near a string of others. The toilets are clean and there's water to use to cook/wash dishes with, etc. I almost don't want to post this because, well, it's just too good to share. So, on second thought, this campsites horrible. You shouldn't come here or stay here. It's just THE WORST! Are you convinced?

We have never brought our RV along, and we found this park online and wanted to give it a try while visiting for the Wyoming Downs. They had online booking through Rover Pass, which made it easy to select your site type and dates of your stay. They offer the Good Sam discount on their nightly rate, also. Upon arriving, we just caught the park manager leaving the park. She turned around and came inside the office to check us in. We got a good site for our motorhome where we were parked on gravel with a nice area of grass to our passenger side for our pup to explore. Several of the sites on the east end are parking on grass, which we usually prefer not to do due to the weigh of our rig. Also, they warn you to check out and leave by 10:00 am if you are parked on grass because the sprinklers come on automatically and will soak down your RV and/or tent. Other gravel sites are full gravel with no grass available. There are also many trees along the roads, but they were not hanging too low to compromise our motorhome. The amenities available are a laundry room, men/women restrooms with showers, a playground for the kids, and some fun decor with antique farm items and a wishing well. They have a grassy area at the very back of the park for pets to utilize, and we walked back there one time to check it out during our stay. There are many longer term folks staying toward the back, and I noticed many of those sites are only 30 amp elec. I will definitely be back to stay again when I'm in the area.

The paneling to the shower handle is free floating, it's not even secured to the wall. On top of all of that our A/C stopped working properly mid way through our week. Outside felt cooler than the cabin, which is not something that should happen in 92+ degree weather!!! I would not recommend this place. It is way too pricey for its poor amenities. Another family member also rented a cabin with a private bathroom inside and the water pressure was so intense it hurt their skin. There's no in between!
