It was wonderful I love seeing the nature I like jumping into the water the trees were beautiful

My family and friends have been coming here as a group of 13 families for over 20 years. Unfortunately, this year the staff completely ruined our trip. Their behavior was unprofessional and unfriendly from start to finish. We were harassed over day passes we had already purchased, and even tried to charge us for a day pass at 9:38 PM just for dropping off some items. When a few families left early, their campsite (still paid for and under our name) sat empty. We simply asked to park another family's car there. not stay overnight and were met with an unnecessary argument. The final straw was being given a ticket for "using" a day pass until 10:30 PM because we were sitting around a campfire. After two decades of loyal visits, we're shocked at how poorly we were treated. Sadly, we won't be coming back, and it's unbelievable to think that after all these years, staff behavior would drive us away. read more

WORST CAMPING TRIP EVER! My family and friends have been staying at Rendezvous Beach for the last 17 yrs, this will be our last stay. The camp hosts and employee's are very unkind. They break their own rules and crowd your camp with 100 cars parked right up on your campsite on the dirt which is posted against the rules! With people than parading through your paid for rented area! Putting your belongings and children in harms way! They treat you like garbage. I was flabbergasted by the camp hosts and their hostility and hot headedness! read more

Hot headed employees that don't know how to solve common issues. I was told I can't park by the bathrooms to pick up my cooler. Well guess what? There were three other cars doing the same thing. Targeting? Maybe he was jealous of my truck? Or that I was taller than him, not sure. read more

The beach is amazing, definitely no problems there. But the Food Truck they have. I don't recommend . The food tasted fine but I ended up getting sick and threw up all night. Including some of my friends who ate there too. It was horrible. read more

1500 for a group site , grumpy camp host , micro management, good greaf , cold showers, absolutely could spend more time cleaning up camp grounds, not happy Karen , you can be nice and accomplish the same!!! read more

Fine enough place to hang on the beach. I just didn't care for the sand...too rocky for me to walk on without my shoes on. And there was a lot of trash on the beach; I was very surprised. And disappointed. But it did the trick for a few hours in the sun, I guess. But for $15 to go there, you'd think it would be a lot nicer. We rented a jet ski and had a good time. Rental place had nice workers. read more

It's $15 a day per car. The perfect beach for little kids since the water doesn't start to get deep until 60 yards from shore. The beach is fairly clean. The bathrooms were well maintained. read more

Bear Lake is my happy place. The sand, the crystal blue water, and friends. Rendezvous State Park is a great place to set up your EZ up and beach chairs for the day. Pull out the sand toys and life jackets, bring your paddle boards and floaties and spend the day relaxing in the beach and playing in the water. There's a snack shack here with great, reasonably priced food. You can rent boats, paddle boards, wave runners and eater trampolines too. The bath houses are clean and well maintained too. I can't wait to go back next summer. read more

GOT SO SUN BURNED. If you're going to come to this beach, bring sunscreen, for sure. My husband and I met our friends up there and I got one of the worst sunburns I've gotten In forever. Super painful sleeping and sitting, getting in and out of the car! It's secluded though so we got to raft along with no big tide and not having to worry about getting claustrophobic. read more

We are visiting from Orlando so this is s big change. Today is our first day of below 90 degrees. It is about 80 and it rained but it's still nice. The water isnt as cold as I expected, but I didn't go past my knees. The kids went full on swimming. It's a great area with restrooms, picnic tables, pavilions and kayak rentals. However, I don't know why they charged us for $15 when the sign said $10 per car load. read more

If you are adults looking for a relaxing beach day, I do not recommend this. There are children everywhere screaming and running around (and we went on a Monday). It's also expensive - $15 when the North beach was quieter (on a weekend day), more beautiful and only $5. There was also trash everywhere when we walked up and pot a potty's compared to bathrooms on the North beach side. Definitely recommend North beach more for Bear Lake. read more

We love rendezvous beach. I worked there growing up. We have watched it's growth over the last 25 years and it's been great. They need to use a tractor and grate to clean the beach and grossness. read more

Crowded beach, with people stacked up on people, on top of people. And on-site rentals are expensive. Old tractors in the water retrieving boats. Careless attendants spilled gas in the water multiple times last visit, which likely means it happens every day. One was so bad, our day smelled like gasoline the entire time. They didn't care at all. For them, it was all about money. Then they argued with us over space and tried to crowd out beach goers. That day, I also saw a guy pissing in the parking area. And mind you, we paid to get in here. Sorry, but this place needs more oversight, possibly even law enforcement. It's become trashy. People need to be more responsible for our public places. You abuse it, you lose it. I suppose it's nostalgia alone that earns them that 3rd star. read more

The beach gets pretty busy later in the day so we went earlier. My daughter had a great time playing in the sand and we felt like we were on the coast watching the waves roll in. The water is so blue and with the backdrop of the mountains, it's picturesque. read more

For a lake the water is pretty clear, but as for Rendezvous point rentals, they are a very dishonest company. They charged us a deposit to reserve a boat and after a 9 hour drive, they gave our rental away to someone else and we did not get a boat. We will never rent from Rendezvous again! read more

We had a great time at the beach, but be very careful if you plan to rent anything from Rendezvous Beach Rentals. We rented a couple of tandem kayaks and a paddle board. The total per their price list was $135, but was told it would be $150. When I questioned why the high school age girl helping us looked dumbfounded and said they typically round up since it's easier to calculate. When I told her I wasn't paying that much she then asked another teenage boy in the office what to do and he told her that since we already knew what the "right price" was to charge us the $135. If it wasn't for my kids wanting to kayak and paddle board I would've told them to go pack sand. What kind of dishonest business are they running? Be careful and know what your cost will be before you pay because they are obviously instructed to cheat you out of your money whenever possible. read more

We brought our dog with us! Heaven forbid!! We got confronted by the rudest "security guard" he waited... yelled at us... and waited... for us to leave, watching us like a complete creep! As we were leaving he fallowed us all the way to the exit to make sure we left! We had to go back to tell our family we were leaving and what happened! That douche stopped me at the gate and made me pay $3 just to walk BACK IN!! To see my family, he questioned if I had my dog on me, and accused me of sneaking him in illegally, he threatened to call the police if he found I had! My wife and dog had to wait at the entrance for me. We didn't mind that dogs weren't allowed, but whoever that man was, was the rudest, most condescending, disrespectful a$$ that we ever met. We were so nice and willing to work with them. But he just kept making it worst and worst. Hire a new "security guard".. one with a little more couth! read more

Went off- season so the beach was basically empty. Even still it was filled with trash which speaks more to human nature than the quality of the beach. Lots of picnic benches available for seating. We didn't use the rentals but had fun playing in the water and along the beach. read more

if i could put 0 stars i would. we went there on a vacation hoping to rent out a jet ski for 2 hours. 45 minutes into having it, it stopped running and we could only go 2 mph. we had to find the closest people with phones, requiring us to exceed their boundaries. we got a phone and called, no answer. we called our mom and she had to call them several times before answering. they said they would send a girl out to come and get us. it took her over an hour to get to us, and she flew past us and we had to call her and redirect her to us. we got back to the place and they wanted to charge us $90 for the repair and labor for why our jet ski stopped working. his name was TAYLOR and he was so mean to us. yes we were mad, so we didn't have the best attitude towards them, but he came back at us with so much attitude and was not apologetic whatsoever. never once did he say he was sorry. we asked to have the owners number and he said "i can't give that out". he ended up charging us for $200 when originally we would have only paid $130. We left there paying more then we needed and we tried to negotiate and he wouldn't. it WAS NOT our fault that it stopped working, and they made US pay for it. DO NOT go to this rental. read more
