    Mac n cheese

This was by far the worst barbecue and Mac n cheese I have ever eaten. The Mac n cheese is essentially store bought Alfredo sauce that has been diluted with water to have zero flavor. The pork was insanely fatty and dry with no flavor. If you have the option to eat anywhere else you should.

    Signature sandwich.

Best BBQ in town! Oh my gosh so so good! The Mac and cheese is out of town. We had the signature sandwich, brisket sandwich, chicken sandwich and also the wings. All 10/10! There was a line but it went fast. Will definitely go back.

Good portions. Great sauces. Best Cole slaw I've ever had. Pork wasn't too greasy which I appreciate. Came out just a little cold.

This location is right in Town Square, when your out and about walking around, the BBQ smell is in the air Why the maybe rating ? Our group ordered a few of the Piggy Melt sandwiches and loved them along with coleslaw and baked beans. I ordered the 3 meat combo and the pulled pork was moist and had excellent flavor, the brisket was done to perfection, however the Turkey was less than stellar, it was dry and seemed aged in a sense. The baked beans are really good and full of flavor and the Mac-n-cheese was killer Service was friendly and quick with southern charm, the inside had such a great bbq smell with plenty of seating. I do recommend having a quick bite here but avoid the Turkey

Excellent food excellent service. The staff were more than accommodating with my food, allergies and made sure that nothing I ordered would contain either onions or garlic. I had the brisket with coleslaw and baked beans. Also their vinegar, hot sauce, beautifully cooked. The sauce was perfect. The baked beans are seasoned with bell peppers in them, which I had never had and it added that little bit of something that makes it special. My husband had the barbecue sandwich and potatoe salad he said it was wonderful as well. I couldn't taste the potato salad because it has onions in it but that's OK. We both drank tea. I had the unsweetened. They had plenty of lemons wedges there and David had the sweet and it was very good as well. The ambience is nothing fancy you order at the register get your own drinks and they bring it out to you but it's a very comfortable setting for families or date nights or anything you like My husband and I met in the barbecue restaurant in North Carolina where I was working so we love trying new places and writing reviews when these places are great. This one fits the Bill.

OMG this was the Mac n cheese

Oh my goodness where do I start? The very worst restaurant experience in my life up to this point. All sides (except for my fries) had to be many days old. I mean Cole slaw had zero juice. Mac'n'cheese? You can't even call it that. Shell pasta that was mush in a white sauce so drippy I was amazed they even served it. Now let's talk bbq. When you have this (from an actual bbq place) you expect it to have a smoked flavor which it did not. No flavor at all and such fatty meat I didn't even eat mine. Stay away from Run

This is not food for people who enjoy seasoning in their food... but if you love mustard and mayonnaise then this place is for you!!! Service was excellent. Ambiance was chill, quiet and welcoming.

Burned toast on the "Pig Melt"

Ordered the "Pig Melt" which is supposed to be a grilled cheese with chopped pork inside. The pork was good, but when I order a "grilled cheese" I expect there to be a good amount of melted cheese in it. In the photos one can observe there was a slice of American cheese that wasn't melted. I am not sure why it wasn't melted because my bread was burned on the outside as illustrated in the additional picture provided. The staff was nice. The floors were so sticky that shoes were sticking and one could hear every person's shoes making noise as they walked thru the dining room. Not sure if we would visit next time we are in Dahlonega.

The food was awesome! The bama white bbq sauce was fantastic. The staff was kind. The inside was very clean and they offer outdoor seating as well. Everything was priced super reasonably! The fries were fantastic!!!

    Combo Platter

Got the chopped chicken, brisket, and BBQ pork. Came with the three meats, two sides (we picked Mac and cheese + baked beans) and a slice of Texas toast for $25. Got the Sweet and Tangy BBQ sauce options, but there were many to choose from. This "Combo Platter" was plenty for two people to share. Everything tasted great. The brisket was a tad dry and the Diet Coke was flatter than I would like, but those are my only two grievances. All the staff was very friendly and there was a great outdoor patio to sit (dogs were welcome!) Would return next time I'm in the area! Edited to add: many people at our table claimed the mac and cheese was in the top 10 they've ever had. I didn't have any, but everyone else raved about it!

You can smell this place from a mile away! We were going to stop at a bar and grill but they get you with the smell. The line had about 12 people and took 40 min to get up front. Not sure the lady knew what she was doing or if people were just taking long to order. She was not the friendliest but everyone else was! We order the patty melt and that was so good. Almost like a loaded grilled cheese and toasted perfectly. I got the bbq salad and needed help finishing. The bbq ranch dressing was to die for!!! Highly recommend getting the salad it had so much meat on it. For sides Brunswick stew was ok a little too salty as well as the collards they were saltier than your usual. The Mac and cheese and baked beans were the gold mine! Parking here is difficult we found parking few streets away and it was busy. Seems like a touristy place to go so you'll see a lot of people!

Had a couple of cocktails, an appetizer, a meal, dessert and then coffee.!! It's been a few months, but if I remember right, the bill was right about $120 for two people! Everything was delicious. The cocktails were fabulous. I had a Mojito with fresh mint.! It is a seafood restaurant. I'm allergic to seafood and they flagged my meal and they informed me they cook their seafood in a separate oil ! Anything breaded and fried that's not seafood goes into a clean oil fryer!!! That alone is impressive enough to tell you to go go go! The balcony is on the second floor, it overlooks the historic part of the town of Dahlonega. The weather was amazing It was very pleasant.. The inside seating had typical seafood restaurant decor like fish on the wall and netting and starfish . Nautical themes throughout with port windows and ropes. I have to tell you it's a restaurant I would've never picked myself, but it was my friend's birthday and I insisted she pick the restaurant and it was such a happy surprise. I will definitely return. I would bring my husband and he would enjoy the seafood and I can enjoy my non-seafood dinner knowing I wouldn't accidentally be poisoned! lol the struggle is real at most restaurants, but not at this place! Trust me very impressive.!

They had live music the day we were there, but he was just finishing up when we sat down to taste. WINES: Tyler, owner & winemaker, poured for us and provided excellent details on his wines, the winery, and North Georgia winemaking in general. We spoke with him for quite some time, enjoying our shared tastings, and even getting to sample a couple barrel tastings of some upcoming reds. Tyler uses fruit from Georgia, as well as California, Washington, Texas, and more. He offers a wide variety of whites, reds, and dessert wines, including a couple varietals not commonly known to the everyday wine drinker. There are also wine cocktails and mocktails, should you desire something a little different. As I always say when it comes to wines, what I like/dislike may be different than you, so I suggest that you give them a try for yourselves. The quality of Accent's wines was the best we experienced on this trip to the North Georgia Wine Country, and the ambiance and service were fantastic! I highly recommend you check them out.
