Jan worked me into her schedule and listened to problems with my hair and what I was wanting to move towards. She expertly got the right hair color I was wanting and fixed the awful hi-lights I previously had. I have shoulder length natural curly hair and Jan made a suggestion for a cut, not much more than a trim. Wow, what a difference it made in the way hair curled and shaped my face and still able to pull back into pony. I immediately received compliments for the new look. I just moved to Tucson a few months ago and of course part of that move was finding a new stylist. Yelp has been my go-to resource when coming to a new place. And I was not disappointed in finding Jan I read the reviews, like you are right now, and made an appointment. Jan took time to go over how I liked my hair as well as helped me to better blow dry and care for my frustratingly dry hair (thank you hot and dry desert air). I have now had two haircuts and color. I cannot say too much about how pleased I am with not only the cut and color, but also for her advise on care and products. I recently moved to the area, and I was dreading the process of finding a new hair stylist. I feel so fortunate to have found Jan. She is EXCELLENT! She took my long-over-due-mess-of-a-mop and made it look GREAT! She gave me suggestions for different color concepts to complement my skin tone. She understood exactly what I wanted and crafted a stylish, but low maintenance cut for me. Jan is great!! Especially for blonde She's been in the business forever and just reestablishing clientele after moving here. She asked me questions nobody has in 15 years of getting highlights, about placement and how I want it to look when it's up vs down, etc. She is so kind, down to earth, laid back, and very knowledgeable! This was my first haircut since COVID hit. I was taken in right away- no waiting (which I SO APPRECIATE) and there were only 4 people total in the entire place, which I was also happy about since COVID-19 is still around. There are people who can cut hair and there are people who make you look fabulous. I have curly hair which prefers to frizz. Jan cuts my hair and *styles* it so that it works for my hair and my face.
