Ceanna is a hair color artist, especially for Asian hair, so you don't get brassiness. You can also tell she cares a lot about the work she's doing, making sure the customer feels comfortable, and that they have a positive experience. She's very warm and enthusiastic as a conversationalist and tries to get to know you so the time goes quickly during your appointment, but of course if you'd prefer to zone out or don't want to chat you can let her know too. I had my hair bleached and glossed in Korea last summer, and have needed to get my roots bleached and retouched every few weeks-2 months. I booked an appointment easily through Vagaro, received the confirmation within a few hours, and had a very smooth appointment. My first time going to the Beaverton salon and I have to say that I was really disappointed. I've waited about a week to write this to mull it over but felt I needed to say something, in the end (not that it will make a difference). I thought the salon itself would be a bit more upscale but I felt like I was just at a SuperCuts in a strip mall. Really needs a bit (a lot) of updating. The countes and cabinets were dirty with splotches of dye that wasn't wiped up fully. Perhaps the ladies there only really want to do color but I was just there for a cut, wash and style so I felt like I was not the priority. I don't understand why stylists feel like they need to talk the whole time. That tells me that you're likely not really paying attention to what you are doing. I had to ask to have certain parts of my hair cut because she just kind of ignored them, was rushing. My hair wash didn't even seem to include my whole head. It didn't feel like a proper full service appointment where one leaves feeling really beautiful and relaxed. I think I came out of the appointment looking more disheveled than when I went in. My hair did not have a finished polished look to it, it was shaggy, felt grimey. I went home (trying not to cry) and washed/restyled it myself just to feel clean and go into work. And the final clue that the stylist couldn't care less about my business was that she didn't even offer to make a subsequent appointment. Just kind of pushed the cell phone my way for my signature and walked away. Even though I would have declined politely, the fact that she didn't care about repeating business was telling. Feel like I paid $80 for a $14.99 hair clip. Won't go back. read more

Ceanna is amazing!! I had never had my hair done and was actual quite nervous at first. My natural hair color is an auburn color and was nervous the colors wouldn't match, but I trusted Ceanna and she didn't disappoint! Gorgeous salon first of all! I remember the salon "Changr of Heart" or something like that...before the new owner took over and WOW how amazing is this upgrade! Ceanna the owner blows me away with the way she has transformed some of the gals I've seen walk into the salon!! I have been super impressed with how consistent Candice has been with my nails...my cuticuls are so dry and hard to trim and have had trouble with drop in shops in the past so I make sure to schedule with her because I am never let down. I do not mind scheduling an appointment as MODA requires because it's worth it! Even though they do not have a typical receptionist, they always give me a couple of different options within 12-24 hours. Another reason why I like this shop is that it's quaint and private. I called reached out to Ceanna after browsing for someone to fix my hair after a bad highlight job. I've been brown to blonde, back and forth again and again.
