As soon as I arrived, my vehicle was hooked up to the diagnostic and made an appointment to bring my vehicle back. Dropped off my vehicle a couple days later and was picked up by Enterprise Car Rental right up the street and ensured I would be contacted as the progression moved forward. They completely rebuilt my transmission after another shop preformed a service on it that caused it to burn up ( I had to get an attorney involved because of the damage that was caused by the other shop). Over the past couple years, since North Laurel Transmission rebuilt my transmission, I have driven my vehicle all over the country and never had a single transmission issue. I have a 2004 Escalade and I first brought my SUV to North Laurel Trans to get a trans rebuild back in 2016 and a year and a 1/2 went by and i was having issues and of course this places warranty ran out (1 year warranty) so the owner gave me a discount of $400 but still had to pay $1800 for anther rebuild of the trans. Welp as of 3/8/2019 the trans dies again... I would not recommencement North Laurel Trans to anyone tho the prices are right the labor and parts they use is trash and I may as well have cone to thee dealer and just paid $4000 for a new one. read more

Chris and his crew were great. I took my 06 Pathfinder there for service after taking it to two other places one being the dealer. The part that was fix by North Laurel Trans. wasn't even the part the dealers mention which was strange. NLT was recommended to be since I was having transmission issues and NLT ordered the part and I was very glad the part fixed the issue and I didn't need a new transmission all together. We used NLT a few years back when our Mercury Mountaineer needed a new transmission. I just sent their info to a friend because I remembered what an awesome job they did for us. We got several more years out of that truck because of them. Their price was very reasonable considering it's always painful to replace your transmission. We def would have paid more at a dealership. The customer service was superb. I recall we worked directly with the owner who seemed like a real stand up guy. I hate dealing with car issues. Every time a new one pops up, I get knots in my stomach thinking about the amounts of money i'm going to have to spend. On top of worrying about the money you'll have to spend, there's always that fear of the mechanic being dishonest and blowing smoke just to get in your pockets. I have NEVER had this issue with North Laurel Transmissions Both times i've had issues, Chris has been honest and charged me a reasonable price. He also will never let you get your car back and the issue not be resolved, when I was having problems with my Impala cutting off while it was running, Chris continued to work on my vehicle until the issue was resolved and my car was back running.
