Rotors and pads on my gx460

These guys are on time! I had an appointment to get my brakes done and within 20 min of checking in, the car was on the lift and ready to be work on. They change out my brakes, all take about 2 hours. I brought my own parts and they were happily to work on it. I paid what I would say is a mediocre price but the job is done right and quick! I would trust Ben and Brian (father and son team) with my lexus.

They returned my car without putting my door knob back on.

DO NOT GO HERE...HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Warning: Long post, but beneficial to those who do not want to be cheated out of time and money.  I dropped my car off on a Thursday evening for minor driver side door work. When I dropped off my car, I asked the front desk if they would be able to take a look at my car in the next day or two and provide guidance on the work that needed to be done and that I needed my car back on Saturday no matter what. The lady said yes, it shouldn't be a problem we are open on Saturday.  On Saturday I called (and left messages) twice. No one returned my calls and when I stopped by in the afternoon everything was closed. They had not called me at all on a status of my car, etc. I knew they would be closed Sunday and Monday (Labor Day) and figured they would be open on Tuesday even though it was a Jewish holiday (nothing in website mentioned being close, nothing on answering recording mentioned it, and woman working didn't mention it). On Tuesday morning, I called at 8 a.m. when they claimed to be open on their website. No one answered so I drove by at 8:15am and no one was in the shop. I called and finally got in touch with someone at around 9:30am. I explained that I needed my car back even if not finished and made sure they understood my frustrations of the non-communication. I told them that I expected to hear from them on Saturday as they said they were open and no one called or even answered the phone. After going back and forth on the phone about the non-communication issue, they HUNG UP ON ME. I tried calling them back immediately and they didn't pick up the phone. Knowing that the shop was now open, I got a ride back to the shop to speak to them in person. Upon my arrival, I spoke to both the front desk lady and Brian the owner about my frustrations. Here are the following excuses they gave me for not calling me or giving me any sort of update on my car:  1. The owner claimed he was sick on Saturday and couldn't open the shop. Then precedes to tell me that he did have a 16 year old come in on Saturday to work on my car. Not sure this is legal.  2. The owner told me I was lucky he was in today (Tuesday) because it was a holiday and he felt he should be in since he took off Saturday.  3. When I asked why I didn't receive a phone call on Friday telling me I wouldn't be able to get it back until Tuesday or Wednesday, he said, "I didn't know no one called you, but they should have".  I then asked him to just put my car back as he found it.  On Friday and/or Saturday they took my door apart to see what was wrong and what parts were needed and then left it like that over the long weekend. They then proceeded and charged me $137 for their labor and they would not knock that down even though they held my car hostage all weekend long without my permission or giving me a status of the work that needed to be done.  After paying the $137 they gave me my keys only for me to find my car door without an interior handle. The handle was still in my cup holder (see pictures).  Essentially I paid them $137 to take off my door handle and not fix anything. I paid them to leave it in worse shape than when it was delivered to them. I paid them $137 when I had to take off work for 3+ hours because they opened the shop over an hour late and couldn't give me my car back until Tuesday when they said I would have it back "with no problem" on Saturday.  If the owner of the shop gets sick and no one is able to cover properly, he has trained his staff wrong and does not care about his customers. Not once did I get an apology. All I got were excuses and a bill. And I was rudely hung up on by their customer service agent.

I had a good experience with them. I needed a part replaced and they were pretty quick and charged a good price.

Raphael was very…read morepolite and explained that they will not be able to do anything that day as they needed to wait for the engine to cool down. He explained to me their diagnostic fee and that he will let me know if it is a big repair. Fortunately, it was not a big issue. He did point out that I should look at other issues and recommended what I need to look out for, he did not pressure me into fixing them immediately. He even pointed out the business next door for a rental to help me get home. I was about 50 miles from home so I felt very thankful for this upfront and honest service center.

So I dropped off my car here for an estimate on brakes. Rafael was on the phone behind the cashier…read moreregister and did not want my business. He was saying they are very busy and I saw zero motivation by him. Within 2 hours he called me saying I need $800 repair for brake leak, my caliper, brake hose and parking brake motor needs replacing. My pregnant wife went to pick up our car and Rafael started harassing her for $60 diagnostic fee. I would have loved to pay $60 fee had anyone told me about it. Not mentioned even once, when I was there to drop off my car. I refused on the phone. Told my wife to never come there. This is the reason why shops get a bad name. Rafael was on the phone the entire time I talked to him. He doesn't want this job. Took the car to another shop down the road, guess what only thing that was needed to be replaced was a single caliper. $225 job only and they bled the brakes and everything. Avoid this place.

I believe in leaving fair and honest reviews, which is why I'm updating my original feedback. **To…read moreclarify, I have never received any service from this business.** My initial one-star review was based solely on my phone conversation with Lou while scheduling an appointment to have a diagnostic performed. I want to thank Ethan, the service manager, for taking the time out of his busy day to personally call me and explain the company's position regarding my review. I appreciate the effort to clarify the misunderstanding. According to Ethan, the business does not require payment upfront. Instead, the text we received was a pre-approval link meant to inform us of the potential cost following a diagnostic. Unfortunately, this wasn't clearly communicated during my original call with Lou. If he had mentioned that we'd receive a text requiring approval before any work could be done--and that payment would only be due after the diagnostic--I would not have left a one-star review. From a customer's perspective, receiving a $200+ link without prior explanation understandably creates the impression that payment is required in advance. This was a clear miscommunication, and I'm willing to chalk it up as such. That said, I strongly recommend the business makes this process more transparent in future calls. Customers should be clearly told: 1. They will receive a text with a pre-approval link. 2. No payment is due until after the diagnostic is complete. In today's climate, transparency is critical, and many customers--like myself--may feel uneasy approving charges before their vehicle has even been seen. While I still haven't had any work done here, I want to be fair. Ethan's call helped clarify the process, and for that reason, I'm updating my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. My intention has never been to tarnish this business--only to share my honest experience. I hope this feedback helps them improve communication with future customers and avoid similar misunderstandings. Thank you again.

Made an online appointment yesterday evening for a safety inspection. Received a text shortly…read morebefore my appointment saying they won't do the inspection on my vehicle. When I challenged that and said I would happily pay for a repeat inspection *IF* my vehicle needs repairs, Tony repeatedly doubled down on nonsensical policies. Recommend using Columba Auto Care or Dobbin Auto Repair. Both seem more respectful of customers' time. Neither have such "policies" for state inspections. UPDATE to correct the inaccuracies by the business owner: I booked the night before and received confirmation of such. Also, when I called Tony in response to his text, I told him I'd pay for a repeat inspection IF NECESSARY (unlikely on a newer model with low miles) and would not want their shop to do the repairs. He still doubled down on nonsensical policies. If my vehicle needed repairs, I'd take it to Tesla -- not a random shop without the expertise necessary to take care of my vehicle. I've talked with multiple shops in the area. This is the ONLY one I've spoken to that refuses to do state inspections on Teslas. They should reevaluate their policies AND state this clearly on their website so they do not waste customers' time.
