I have been a student at North Main Music for around 3 years now. There is never a limit to how much these guys are able to teach you. In addition to playing guitar, I read and understand sheet music all thanks to the very insightful instructors at North Main Music. One of the most significant differences between another music school and North Main Music is that North Main Music really does care about what the student wants to learn. I used to take classes at another school where I was forced to play and learn music from a book that specialized in classical guitar. My two teen daughters and I have been students at North Main Music for a year now. One of my daughters is taking voice, the other daughter is taking voice and acoustic guitar, and I'm an electric guitar student and am also in one of the student bands. The teachers at this school are outstanding! They've created a wonderful environment to immerse oneself in music and creativity. They listen to what we want to do with our music and give us really great instruction, guidance, and encouragement, and aren't afraid to push us (in a good way) to make ourselves better. I am a full-time-working single mom and have just begun to take piano lessons at North Main Music. As you can imagine, my day is full of work, but at North Main Music I get a half an hour a week to relieve my stress in a relaxing and positive environment. North Main Music is an awesome music school. I highly recommend North Main Music as both a long time student and as a parent of two children now young adults who attended the school and loved it for years. My daughter has been taking piano lessons here for over 4 years. She loves her teacher and has learned so much. I think it's because her teacher really tries to stay in tune with her interests and gives her only positive reinforcement. Recently she picked up her interest in singing and so started working on some voice lessons with my daughter together with piano. Their recitals show how encouraging all the teachers are. I have been very pleased with our experience at North Main Music. My daughter has been taking guitar lessons for just over a year now and is still enjoying them and getting better each week. We were originally looking for someone to come to our house for lessons or at a local instructor's home, but North Main Music is in a very convenient location just off of Amherst St. in Nashua and they have a nice waiting area with free Wifi. read more
