I would give 0 stars if I could. Owner/manager is a crook. Says he doesn't have change to tip the guys doing all the work. Told me to put tip on card. I felt funny about it and talked to the guy cleaning at the end. Owner steals tips given at box in office and on cards. I got change from worker and tipped him in cash after I left $10 on card with owner. Looked at receipt and it didn't even show my tip on the "tip" line of receipt. I didn't go back for my card tip because I didn't want to get the worker in trouble. Looks like they get paid minimum wage and the owner steals their tips. Avoid this place like the plaque. Plus I had to do interior over myself. read more

This place is so poor in customer service to start off with and then they scratched my car! I paid for full service for them to clean my rubber mats and it's not even done. I watched as they just dragged a towel across my car and walked off to another car. I'm just so upset I can't even speak. Never again. So first I worked at car wash places any years ago, and learned that it is almost impossible to get a car 100% clean. Even if it is detailed and overall clean. But there are levels of cleanness. So my tip will be: Come here first, before thy take many cars and the stress begin. I came here very early, had just one more car washed, and got good cleaning job done. read more

They scratched my car in the front a lot. I didn't have scratches there before and the shape clearly indicates a cleaning motion. I had to wait a while to speak to them and when I did they said I already have lots of scratches, I must have put groceries on my car, and other things. And my car is not very clean. They certainly got the exterior of my car clean - shiningly so. They also, somehow, managed to get the interior floor of my car soaking wet. When I pulled up, the attention was given in lightning speed. (It was one of the first nice days in weeks, and there was a line that ran out into the street.) "Just the standard wash," I said. (Or whatever the interior/exterior version of their car wash is.) "Well, for $2 more, we can wash your front floor mats," the nice guy said. "Sure," I complied. And, you know what? They really did wash my front floor mats. They just didn't DRY them, at aaaaallll, not even a tad, in any way, shape, or form. Sorta bizarre (with soaking wet floor mats in your car), but things were happening so fast, there was barely time to mention it. What wasn't "so fast," was the service when it was time to pay. There was no one at the register for more than a few minutes. My car was pretty much done before the cashier was there. Just expected a bit "more" for an almost $20 car wash. read more

The last time I went to this car wash was a few years ago. At that time the attendant handed you a ticket and went inside to pay. When I went to pay the cashier spent the entire time on the phone. Never acknowledged me in any way and just my credit card and continued chatting away on the phone. Never said anything to me including never a thank you. When my car came off the line there was supposed to be an attendant there to towel dry the exterior. There was no one there. The car rolled off the and started to roll into the street! I had to chase after my car and stop it from running into the street! I wrote a note to the owner and the owner sent me back an apology letter with a coupon for a free wash. I tried to use that coupon on Monday, September 7. The attendant told me this was several years ago and not only could I NOT use the coupon, but "they didn't miss me, didn't need me and that I should leave!" I truly couldn't believe he threw me out of the car wash for trying to use a coupon for poor service the last time I was there. I can assure you I will be telling all not to go to this car wash. read more

I don't know why, but there's something about going to the car wash that excites me. Weird, right? I know. I like this particular car wash because for $18, your car is cleaned, wiped down and windex-ed to near immaculate condition. For sure, this is NOT detailing and no one should expect their car to be pristine, but they do a damn good job of a quick clean-up in just about 10 minutes, start-to-finish. I particularly appreciate the hand-drying and window-washing aspect of this operation. It really makes a difference and I feel it's worth the slightly higher price tag of $18. Also, I should note that you get out of your car while it's being worked on. They do a vacuum, wash, dry and windex whist you wait in the little area with magazines, bad soap operas and air fresheners or you can watch the whole process behind the safety of plexiglass. Will never go back again and I hope this place goes out of business because they deserve it. They broke the tailgate of my Wrangler by opening it too far, disconnecting the interior strap and denting and breaking the plastic hinge covers on the exterior. In total, the damages will cost over $250 to repair. What made matters worse is that the manager tried to play dumb and deny his emplyees broke it. I have sent letters demanding payment and will be required to pursue legal action if they continue to ignore me. read more

Paid $16 to have my car washed, vacuumed and cleaned inside. My cup holder and area under radio were not cleaned and my passengers seat wasn't vacuumed. I won't be going back there again. read more

I paid $150 to get a full detailing. The manager said they shampooed the interior but it did not smell clean or fresh at all, still had stains and was bone dry when I picked it up. There was still hair on the headrests and dog hair on the seats. They did not clean the cup holders or in-between the seats. The exterior of the car was fairly clean but in any cracks or in between windows and doors there were lots of dirty spots that i could easily wipe off with a rag. The doors on the inside were also poorly cleaned. There were streaks and marks that I could easily wipe off. This would have been a fine cleaning for a regular interior vacuum but I paid for "the works" and I could have cleaned the car better myself and saved $150. I added photos on here to see. read more

The absolute worst job cleaning my car ever. I want my tip back! Lazy worker, plain and simple.

North Main Auto Wash has no website or phone number that I could find. They don't come up on Google. But they're good. They're located right next to the Speedee Oil Change, but I believe they're a separate business. They have three levels of wash/detailing service. I did The Works, which was $149. This included complete interior detailing, carpet cleaning, and exterior hand wash. They did a really nice job on my car, which was filthy and covered in dog hair on the inside. The building is no-frills, with a simple waiting area and a window you can watch them run the car through the wash from while you wait. The staff were fine, and friendly enough. But the quality of the work was really good. I could tell they worked hard on it. I had called Doctor Suds which had great reviews on Yelp first, but they never got back to me about an appointment. I walked into this place, dropped off the car at 10AM, and had it back at 3:30PM on a Saturday, completely taken care of. read more

Convenient, affordable, expeditious. Not much more you can ask for here! Within 15 minutes I had a full deep cleaning of the outside of my car, a vacuum, and windows washed with a quick wipe down of the dash and console. I was just a tad confused how it worked at first, but pull in, go inside and pay, then bring the receipt out to the attendant and he will get you going! Next time I will be sure to bring some ca$h since there's a tipping station for the men who buff the car/tires/windows. $18 for the most pricey wash...not bad at all! read more

I love bringing my car here for the $18 wash, and so do all the Mercedes owners in the area, it seems. Not kidding, while I was waiting in line yesterday, there were 3 Mercedes being hand-dried in the lot. The staff treated my Corolla just as nicely as the fancier cars. There's not that many full service car wash and vacuum places in the area, actually I don't know of any other ones. The price is well worth the treat, and it is fun to watch the action happen from the window lookouts. However, I do wish they would vacuum my trunk too - I have a hatchback, so it's easy to see that it needs to be cleaned as well. read more

This car wash is the equivalent to throwing $20 out the window when you're driving on the highway. I've been here many times because of it's close proximity to my home and they never ever have washed the inside windows (which is included in the price) better than a three year old could and I always end up washing myself afterward which defeats the purpose of me paying $20 for a car wash. read more

UNSATISFYING EXPERIENCE & WILL NOT RETURN. After a long Memorial Day weekend my truck was Covered in pollen. I've driven by North Main St Car Wash numerous times and it always seemed to be busy...so I figured I'd give it a try! I pulled up in line and was greeted by pleasant employee. If only he was the one who ended up wiping down my interior at the end I'm sure I wouldn't be writing this review. So I told him I would like the supreme wash ($18.00) which includes vacuuming and wiping down the interior as it is the most expensive wash. he then gives me a ticket I get out and he lets me know to go inside and pay then wait in the waiting room. After they finish vacuuming my truck goes through the wash and comes out. It is greeted by a different employee from the one who greeted me at the beginning. He doesn't say a word to me and then pulls my truck around. I then asked him a question and he doesn't answer with words just an awkward nod then continues wiping down my truck or at least that's what it looked like. So I stand next to the building and wait...he walks away from my truck and did not look or say a word to me! I get in my truck and it it's still covered in pollen on the inside...he didn't even put my floor mat back! Needless to say I won't be going back. read more

I've been here twice, but won't go again. The first time their brushes scratched my car's finish. (Despite the fact that they clearly advertise on the side of their building that they don't use brushes.) The second time I went, I paid for a full range of cleaning services including interior fabric shampoo. No shampooing was done, the interior detailing was sloppy, and the so-called wax job was a generous term for what I actually got. Overall a kind of fly-by-night outfit that doesn't deliver.
