Kurt was great. He's a systems person. That's exactly what you want in a home inspector. From the time I first found Kurt online, I suspected he would be a great person to work with, and my experience proved out my hunch. I love how well organized and sophisticated Kurt's business systems are. It's so easy to do business with him and the business systems give me confidence in the skill he brings to the inspection itself. His background makes him a natural inspector. He shows excellent judgement. He is an excellent communicator. Most of all, I love that Kurt really likes what he does, that's the plus factor that makes him great, something I always love finding in vendors who I need to count on. One additional note. When I arrived for the inspection, Kurt and I discussed one of the services I had ordered, and determined we didn't need it. Kurt had no problem with that. He refunded the portion of the payment associated with that service, I didn't have to ask, I didn't have to remind him once he offered, he followed through according to what he had said he would do. I appreciate the Kurt didn't oversell me and was prompt in refunding the part of the payment associated with the particular test we decided not to include in the inspection. Kurt was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain every detail to me. He walked me through how to trouble shoot minor issues throughout the home that could save me money in the long run. When it came time to get into the crawl space he dove right in and took his time to take photographs and really understand how the structure of the house was built. He had to crawl/slide really far in and he didn't hesitate at all. Of course using the drone was cool to inspect the roof. He was able to get very close to the roof and take some high resolution photos of the whole thing to insure he could evaluate it properly. I liked how easy it was to book his service through his website versus calling and leaving messages. If a time doesn't work for you send an email and he will work something out for you. Even after the inspection he has been quick to respond to my questions. I have recommended him to friends as they look to purchase homes in the area. I'm new to home buying and I wasn't sure what to expect, Kurt is now the new standard I expect from future inspectors. read more

Kurt was amazing! He showed up well before the scheduled time to start on the outside of the home. He was extremely thorough, inside and out, and gave us a lot of advice on how to fix minor issues in the home, and also gave us many recommendations on where we could go for some of the bigger issues. Wonderful experience! Kurt was extremely knowledgeable, and wasn't afraid to go above and beyond his job to help us as first time home buyers understand everything in our new home! I had a deeply disappointing experience with this inspection company. Their report exaggerated minor, normal settling issues as though the house was structurally unsound and required engineering intervention. They even recommended cutting a hole in my ceiling to investigate drywall work--despite the fact that there is simple attic access that clearly shows no issue. The tone of the report was so alarmist and negative that it caused the buyer to back out of the sale. I would strongly advise others to avoid using this company. read more
