I intentionally stayed out of his way to let him do his work, but Tim kept me and my agent updated throughout the process and was very professional and personable. I didn't request it, but he also slipped in and out of different shoes every time he transitioned from inside to outside the house to be respectful of the flooring. The report he sent along was great, and he let me know what to expect with the report before he sent it, and even walked me through most of the concerns prior to the conclusion of the inspection. On three occasions, I've attempted to have the basment waterproofed unsuccessfully. At wit's end, I called Home Pride House Inspections to determine the source of the problem. I previously saw an inspection Home Pride did of a home that my sister was considering purchasing and was impressed by its thoroughness. Jack listened patiently as I laid out all of the steps that I have taken to address the problem. He asked a series of inciteful questions to determine if he could help. In the end, he indicated that he did not think that he could, but gave me a couple of additional suggestions for courses of action I could take. Dave talked to me for 15-20 minutes because he wanted to understand the problems I was experiencing. One of the problems was two brick encased windows. He let me know he didn't believe he possessed the necessary tools/infrared equipment to definitively diagnose the problems as I explained them. So, he refers me to another home inspector who he believed could provide an economical remedy. Who does this in today's world???? Add Dave Macy to such a list. Dave took the time to listen. He provided suggestions on where to investigate some of the other problems I was experiencing, but he turned the job down. I thanked him for his time, but more importantly for his integrity....since he didn't want to take the chance that his fee would not resolve ALL my concerns. Ironically, the home inspector he referred spoke highly of Dave's work product as a fellow board Certified Master Inspector (CMI). What's not to like about Dave, even though he chose to pass on my project. You don't get this type of integrity from people today. Thank you Dave, but in retrospect, I should have hired you just based on your honesty and integrity!

Do not use this company…read more Inaccurate billing (overcharged labor), damage to showerhead, plaster on light fixture/walls, late twice, cancelled twice, lack of accountability, and poor customer service. 50% deposit was due prior to project start via emailed invoice. On 3 appointments, BBH Remediation was over 45 minutes late for 2 of the appointments, and canceled 2 other times. Estimate contract said it would take 3 days (June 17 - June 19). Due to cancelations, project took 7 total days (June 18 - June 24) leaving us without a household shower and bathroom for more than double what was written in the contract (this time frame was not updated or communicated to us). BBH refused to take accountability for the responsibility of the extended time frame (when no other findings or project discoveries caused any delay). BBH claimed they verbally discussed the project time frame, even though the contract said 3 days. They rarely communicated when being late/what they were currently working on, anything that we would need to know (spackle is messy - don't worry about it for now and we will clean it later) so I ended up cleaning it up. Workers tracked dirt and dust in and out of the house without taking shoes off, covering them, or cleaning it when they left each time, so I cleaned it after each visit. They broke our showerhead and refused to assist in fixing it saying they're not liable, and offered no alternative to try to make it right, and no remorse. 2 workers spent a total of maximum 4 hours each (more like 3.5) between the 3 visits, totaling 8 working hours, max. Original invoice was for 13 hours of labor. They refused to make any correction to the final balance due to account for the actual hours worked. When attempting to discuss the extended time frame via text and our frustration with it, Chris (the assumed owner) didn't respond. On a later phone call with Chris, he told my husband that "your wife sent a nasty text" when I addressed their late arrivals and cancellations. Upon project completion, we asked for an invoice to pay from, and Chris said it must be paid by credit card right then and there. I asked if we can get an invoice to look at first then pay after (like the 50% deposit) and he originally said no, and that if I don't pay today then he would have his lawyer contact me. After I said I would pay, he said yes I can send an invoice but it would be an extra $50. In the end, after asking if the final balance due could be reduced due to extended time frame, true up of working hours, and broken showerhead, Chris reluctantly offered $200 off the total remaining invoice, but that, in our opinion, is still severely overcharging for actual work performed. BBH never took accountability or apologized for anything, and the work itself was sloppy.
