Didn't want to call any of the locals, so my wife said, "Hey, there's a new sign out on Sandridge at Pioneer. Coastal Electric or something." So I drove out there, snapped a picture of the sign and called. Someone answered! Yeah, I know, a local contractor or business actually answered the phone? Hard to believe, but it happened! This was on a Monday. Terry was very personable, listened to my problem and said, "Yeah, I'll be in the area Wednesday. How about first thing? Does 9 AM sound good?" I responded, "Great." If you've lived on the peninsula for any amount of time, you won't believe what happened next. Terry showed up promptly at 9 AM Wednesday! I am so thankful for Paul! I was having issues with my new fridge and wasn't sure if it was the…read morefridge or the circuitry (my GFCI outlets kept flipping just from plugging the fridge in). I have an older house so it could've been anything... Paul was able to squeeze me in towards the end of the day due to a cancellation, so I can tell that he takes care of new customers just as well as existing. He was so communicative and honest with what he was doing, I actually learned a lot! After a couple hours he deemed that the wiring and circuit to the fridge was just fine and that the issue is probably the fridge itself (which is unfortunate, but at least he didn't have to tear my wall apart!). I will say that the fees were a little more than other electricians I saw, but given the quality, communication, and overall great experience, it's well worth it! I will be using Dependable Electric again whenever I have electrical issues!
