Dear Mr. Harrison Vaugh, I would like to bring to your attention the challenges I encountered during my recent service experience at the North Park Chevrolet Castroville. Despite arriving promptly for my 7:30 AM appointment on Monday, September 30th, I experienced a 25-minute delay before being assisted by my advisor, Beto. Despite emphasizing the urgency of the situation and the coverage of necessary repairs under warranty, there was a noticeable lack of urgency in the service process. Subsequent attempts to obtain updates on the status of my vehicle on Wednesday, October 2nd were met with delays and dismissive responses from the receptionist and my advisor. I learned that there were difficulties in locating the warranty paperwork after clear instruction of it's location was given multiple times. Despite the approval of necessary work, the overall communication and customer service experience were lacking. It was communicated to me that my vehicle would not be ready until the end of the day on Friday, which raised concerns about the apparent disregard for the urgency of my situation. On Friday afternoon, I was informed that my truck still wasn't ready due to the need for further testing, despite the initial diagnostic purpose being to identify any issues. I was then told I could pick it up on Saturday, only to find out that Beto was not working that day. However, I received excellent service from Dale Thames, who communicated the expected service completion timeline, and Alex Cuellar, who provided outstanding service throughout the process. When I called on Monday, October 7th, at 11:15 am to inquire about the status of my truck, Beto was once again unavailable, and Alex Cuellar assisted me. Despite promises of a call back, I did not receive one and had to follow up myself. I was also unable to get a ride to pick up my truck and was kept in the dark about the completion time. Despite requesting a loaner vehicle, none were available, leaving me in a difficult position. With the dealership in possession of my vehicle for seven days, the substandard customer service experienced during this visit was a departure from the exemplary standards I had previously come to expect from North Park Chevrolet Castroville. As a result of this experience, I do not plan on returning to this dealership in the future. read more

Probably the worst experience I ever had at a north park dealership. I had been in contact with a salesman over phone/text and had understanding for a deal to be made. I went In to look at said vehicle that they said would be ready (it wasn't). I told them I would take a day off of work the next day just to be there first thing in the morning to get the deal done.... (Fast forward) the next day the salesman wouldn't even take my call.. (took forever to get into contact with a new salesman). Told the new salesman I was coming in from out of town to work out the deal. The new salesman seemed very put off. But, anyway Before I could test drive it we had to put a paper plate on the vehicle. The salesman I guess didn't want to get his suit dirty because I had to get on my hands and knees to put the plate in the replacement bumper. When we got back from the test drive I told him the understanding I had with the other salesman and the issues with the new truck I was concerned about. He sat me down and said he would be back with a number. Took them what seemed like 20min before coming back with something. And that's where I realized they will do anything to bait you in. What they told me on my trade was about 5k lower than they said, the truck I went into purchase was about 6k higher than what it should book for (they dropped the price like $200), lost a day of work and lost a potential buyer I had lined up for my truck before they said they could match the offer I had on my truck. I have purchased 2 vehicles with North Park in the past and I will never do business with North Park again. Don't trust anything they tell you! read more

This location was a hidden gem in the search for a great deal, quality service, and efficient processing. After long searches for a Tahoe and a price that would work for myself with three kids. This was the place. Not only did they respond to me before and after hours, they checked up on me after our sale throroughly to make sure everything is going smoothly. Most past experiences with dealerships are overwhelming and for myself walking in with three kids, but their patience and grace was impeccable. Andrew in finance was sooo beyond helpful with my kids and after explaining our circumstances found us a INCREDIBLE RATE and deal on our vehicle. We went in for a used vehicle and they were able to place us in a better deal with a NEW vehicle for less! He helped me in the long run down the road as well financially and took that into consideration in fighting to get me a good rate. Mario was amazing in responding to me when the search began and consistently keeping up with me. As soon as something came up, he called me after hours to make sure i was first to know as he knew my search was exhausting! In summary, they treated me like i was daughter, a mother, and a hard worker to provide the best quality for my kids. and that went a long way for me. it didnt feel like a business transaction. It feels like i will be able to call anytime, ask any questions, and get quality service. I bought a new car here and it was a great experience. All I wanted to do was buy a new car for the price advertised. I did a ton of research and knew exactly what the price for this car should be and what people were paying. I found the car I wanted on their website and talked to Joe Cooks in sales. He told me what the price it would be (exactly MSRP + TTL without any added crap). I knew going in exactly the price I was going to pay, and that's what I paid, to the penny. They didn't bother me with floor mats or clear coats and extended warranty's or anything. It was as easy as buying a gallon of milk. Here is the price, here is the car. I gave them that exact amount and drove off. It was a very refreshing experience. I live a 2hr drive away and had a terrible experience with a Chevy dealer in Austin (Autonation Chevrolet). After agreeing on everything, and telling him ahead of time I didn't want anything extra, just as I was about to sign the salesperson there surprised me with nearly $2000 in added crap that was non-negotiable and hadn't been discussed earlier. "This is the only way we make money on these cars" he said, and "they put it on before the car gets here", and "this car is in high demand" etc etc etc. They wouldn't budge on the added crap so I walked out of Autonation and into North Park. Decided to make a 4 hour drive to North Park Chevrolet after going to two dealerships near our home and not getting what we wanted. We decided we needed more space and wanted a Chevy 1500, after going to two dealerships near by and them up-charging the same truck, I went online and found North Park and sent a message inquiring about one of their trucks. Got a call from Emrald right away and from the beginning she was so helpful in getting us what we needed. We got to the dealership at 7:30 pm, once there Mr. Jeremy Contreras helped us out tremendously. He was able to get us at an amazing deal on the truck! We ended up closing the deal and leaving till almost 11 pm. Emrald stayed there till we closed and was so helpful and patient while we moved our belongings to the new truck. Then he arranged for us to facilitate the purchase by allowing them to hold the vehicle until the VA could provide them the check for the down payment. As an aside the VA turned the check around in around 45 days in spite of the government shut down.
