Recently my family dentist recommended that I go to North Shore and Brookline Ontodontics in Beverly for a root canal. I called the office and made an appointment with Dr. Bradley after reading about his credentials and experience. A couple days later I went for a consultation and met the doctor. It was a very unusual experience for me. Instead of an impersonal exam, he took time to get to know me a little, explain to me what he would do and ask me if I had any questions. He never gave me any indication that he was in a hurry to end the visit and seemed truly sincere that he wanted me to feel comfortable. When I left, I felt much more at ease than when I had arrived. A week later, I arrived for my appointment and the root canal procedure that I had been somewhat anxious about was less uncomfortable than a regular cleaning. During the root canal, Dr. Bradley talked me through the various steps and asked how I was feeling. I am a senior citizen and have had my share of dental procedures, some good and others not so good, so I have a basis for comparison. I cannot imagine that the procedure could have been done any better. I never experienced any discomfort and his amiable manner was very helpful. A few weeks later, I visited my family dentist for a permanent filling and he asked me about my experience. I told him that I was extremely happy. He told me that he knew Dr. Bradley and that he thought he was an excellent endodontist and an extremely nice person. An added bonus was that the staff was polite, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Bradley's assistant seemed to me to be very competent, always knowing exactly what to do at every step of the procedure. In addition to the above, the room was pleasant and immaculate. If I were ever to need another root canal, I would not hesitate to return and feel very confident that I would receive the best treatment available. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Do not go here! Future patients please be aware of your insurance statements. I went in for what was supposed to be a consult, I was then treated and given an unnecessary CT scan which was not covered by insurance. I paid $800 out of pocket as I was too overwhelmed and medicated after the procedure to investigate. I had an infection in a root canal , which a CT scan was not needed. I was not given antibiotics until I called back in the worst pain of my life. The insurance breakdown did not match the procedure. Not to mention they said they were giving me a " discount" . Last I checked dentist don't have discounts. My insurance company said I was charged for something I shouldn't have been charged for yet I never received my reimbursement. It was a traumatic experience, I would thoroughly look over insurance claims for validity from this place read more

Having a root canal is not pleasant but Dr. Morgan and staff made me feel confident when I first sat in the dentist chair. The skill they showed and the teamwork I saw and felt was an experience that made me proud of the choice I made in selecting North Shore Endodontics and specifically Dr. Morgan and his team. They are very caring, and are excellent communicators in explaining the root canal process. The follow up call to my home after the procedure to check on how I felt also showed their caring attitude . They made the entire process appear seamless with their skill and attention to the process. The staff in the front lobby was also very professional. This was the second time I have gone to Dr Singh for a root canal. My first experience was so wonderful - I did not hesitate to go to Dr Singh for a second time. I went for a consultation on a tooth and after looking at x-rays Dr Singh determined it was a different tooth than the one my regular dentist thought it was. I was planning on traveling the next day and shared my concerns about possible complications caused by flying. They were able to fit me in and did the root canal that day. Dr Singh and her staff do such a wonderful job of making sure you feel comfortable. The Dr was right about the tooth- the pain was gone and I had a great trip to Miami!! Nobody looks forward to having a root canal-but if you need one - this is the place to go!! read more

I will start by saying I'm the biggest wimp in the world. I've never had a root canal and was definitely scared. I even tried to convince the dental assistant that because I had no pain I didn't need a root canal hoping she would agree, but she didn't. So I saw Dr. Samantha Synenberg and she is wonderful. Believe it or not the procedure itself was painless. The only thing that's really annoying is keeping your mouth open that long. Both the doctor and her assistant Alicia were very good and very professional and they're funny too. The office is very clean and the equipment looks very modern. My recommendation would be to avoid a root canal like the plague if you can, but if you have no choice make an appointment with this lady, she's good. read more

This office is absolutely amazing. I have been going to Dr. Yuri since the summer time and with my extremely horrid dental anxiety he made me feel very comfortable in the chair. Dr. Yuri (along with Jessica, the dental assistant) can get a root canal done and sealed in less than an hour. I cant stress enough how grateful I am to have found these two. Last night i was in horrible pain so i called the office at 3am, their on-the-call dentist told me to call the office at 8am. When i called, Dr. Yuri spoke to me himself and let me see him during his lunch break. This office is absolutely amazing/clean/professional. I have been to the Peabody one and the Brookline one. I was referred to NS Endodontic Associates by my dentist for a root canal. The scheduling assistant at NSEA was very courteous and was able to fit me into an available appointment fairly quickly. I was assigned to Dr. Morgan. It is difficult to believe that the terms "root canal" and "very pleasant" can be found in the same sentence without the word "not" in between, but Dr. Morgan's handling of my root canal procedure was very pleasant indeed. In fact, I cannot remember a more pleasant dentist or dental experience ever. The staff, including the dental hygenists and support persons were eminently professional. Dr. Bradley treated me in April and again in June. Not my first visit to this office, but my first review. I consider myself a good patient as long as I know the rules of the procedure and expectations for the outcome. We took the first option, and needed to revisit for option 2 where both procedures were as comforting and as easy as any 'invasive' oral surgery can be. The staff was delightful and attentive. Professional at every turn. Dr. Bradley was outstanding and would certainly recommend to the highest level in his skill as a surgeon, and as a companion in walking the patient through the process. I was referred to Dr. Bradley by my long-time dentist Henry Cheney for an emergency visit related to an infection and swelling, and was seen within half an hour of the call. The follow up visit for a root canal two weeks later went very well, Dr. Bradley explained every step of the process. I even got a call from his office a few hours after the procedure to make sure I was doing okay! If you HAVE to have this type of work done and your dentist can't do it "in-house" I think you'd be very comfortable with Dr. Bradley. read more

I had an emergency root canal with Dr. Roque at the Peabody office. I had a very bad root canal experience at my previous dentist and was actually shaking at the thought of another. Dr. Roque explained everything and was so calming and skilled the procedure was finished in less than an hour. The office called to check on me the next day and my tooth felt fine by the third day! I had terrible tooth pain and fortunately my regular dentist made an appointment within the hour with Dr. Singh. While everyone at NSEA were friendly and helpful, Dr. Singh and her two assistants Nicole and Sarah were awesome. The diagnosed my pain as a cracked tooth and quickly, painlessly, and professionally performed a root canal to save the tooth. I have a huge dental fear after a childhood dentist who did not believe in Novocain and used his pick and drill liberally! I made it into my late 50's before I had my first toothache and subsequent root canal at North Shore Endodontic Associates in Newburyport. Had a great experience from start to finish, was experiencing pain for over a week. Found out from my dentist at 8:30 am that I needed a root canal. He referred me to North Shore Endodontics. Got an appt the same day at 10:30. Procedure was completed and I was home by 1:00. No pain at all. Next day was a little tender.
